I am a regular customer at Bella Mia, this visit I brought my 8 year old daughter for a manicure. Historically any time she gets her nails done the gel polish only stays on for a couple of days. I've been coming here for a few months now and I've tried a few different people. I am extremely picky about my nails, I am paying for a service and I have high expectations that they be done the way I want. I am simple, I do one color and keep the same shape. With that being said, here is what I have found: First I had Nina do my nails, and I wasn't very impressed. They weren't the shape I wanted and they were a little bubbly and not very smooth. Next I went to Alex, and she was by far my least favorite. She was very rude to me, had little interest in talking about anything other than her personal life to a few other customers that appeared to be her friend and her coworkers. The language was a little crude and unprofessional in my opinion. She did not do my nails well. They stained and had an awful shape. She also did a pedicure for me once and it was single handled my the worst pedicure I have ever had. So terrible that I vowed to never get another here again. Paige however is the crème de la crème in my opinion! She is amazing! Has such high attention to detail and really cares about making sure you get what you want from you manicure. The shape is always flawless and they always look perfect! The image attached is my most recent gel mani done last week. I cannot recommend Paige enough! I barely got home and I am thrilled about my nails! I haven't had my nails done with extended tips since I was 17 years old. I am 41, so do the math . I have gotten gel nail polish here and there, but finally decided to add tips to feels more feminine. I tried a place on Durango twice, and was just mehhh about them. They were so thick and bumpy and the shape wasn't great. So I used yelp to find this place. At first I was annoyed because since I am a new customer, they required a $25 deposit which would go towards the service. That was fine, but it felt a little sketchy because they asked me to do the deposit via Venmo and not a credit card. I prefer using credit cards usually just because if you get scammed you can dispute charges. Anyway, I showed up and Tina did my nails. She totally fixed the shape, she didn't put the powder nearly as thick as the other place which makes it look so much more natural. I was doing a French tip but decided to try ombre and it looks super cute! I made sure to book an appointment 2 1/2 weeks from now with Tina. She was super sweet and talkative as well. I can't believe I haven't written a review yet. I am here every three weeks to get my nails done. I go to Paige. No matter what design or color I pick, I always get compliments on my nails when I am out and about . I also never get my cuticles butchered like other nail salons. Paige does a great job shaping nails too. I think any technician here is good as I see they are always busy. You need to make an appointment and wear N95 masks specifically. I see that they disinfect the chairs and tables between each client. It's a small salon but very clean. They are very diligent about their COVID-19 routines to ensure sanitized environment. They are primarily a "by appointment" salon but I have called on a Sunday and gotten same day service. They are also very modern w/ appointments online & text confirmations. I like that because it supports me doing more than one thing at a time. Plus I prefer texting and online appts to phone calls. Jenny was awesome! I had seen this shop when I was at another store and figured I would check it out..there's so many nail shops around me so why not try a new one. I called in to make sure they could take me and when I arrived they asked if I had called. I answered yes and they took me right away. They weren't busy so I didn't have to wait. They offered me water as I sat down for my first service. I had a pedicure done first. Prices are comparable to the other shops around. It was very relaxing. I liked how I didnt feel rushed, Jenny took her time and spoiled my feet. Next was my gel manicure, I had wanted white. She suggested a little design, the fade with a silver glitter. Since my amazing nail tech Kim moved from her former nail salon to Bella Mia, obviously I followed. The salon is located in a busy strip mall at the corner of Rainbow and Warm Springs and is easily accessible, although parking can be an issue on weekends. The salon is small, but not cramped, and is a welcomed change from the nearby mega salons. You'll be greeted upon entry by the reception staff and asked to select a color--Bella Mia has a HUGE selection of the latest and greatest gels. Pricing is pretty standard for a Las Vegas nail salon, although the quality is definitely superior. I have only had my nails done by my regular nail tech Kim and by Sam; both are amazing and take their time to ensure you love your nails. Overall, I have been really impressed with Bella Mia thus far and I will continue to get my nails done here on a regular basis. While I can't speak personally about the work of each and every nail tech, I know Kim does her very best to train each of her employees and ensure consistency regardless of the tech. Since moving to Las Vegas in 2017, I tried 4 different nail salons. It wasn't until I saw my co workers nails and asked her who did them, that landed me at Bella Mia, and that's where I've been for the past year or so. All the nail salons couldn't figure out my nails and nail beds, which caused lifting in less than a week, 2 weeks were a stretch. I'm sure a lot of it was the products they used. Kim and her daughter Alex are the only 2 that seemed to have figured my nails out. She uses grade A products that don't smell like most salons you go into, and my nails last 3 weeks sometimes I can stretch them to a month. Never in all of my almost 30 years of going to nail salons have I been able to go that long in between appointments. They are the truth!!! read more

I decided to check this place out since it is a bit newer, and I was pretty happy after getting my usual gel manicure here. I love the way the guy shaped my nails. Also got $5 off which is not bad. He did not do the hand massage thing that most places do but whatever, not a big deal. So THREE days later, my thumb nail broke off. Where it broke was so close to my nail bed that my thumb was pretty sore. I have never had that happen with a gel mani before, even on my natural nails. I was out of town so I had to wait a couple days before going back. It was five days after I got my nails done when I went back. I explained what had happened and the guy (a different one) fixed it. I was irritated by the experience afterwards though because I was definitely not satisfied with how he fixed my nail. I wasn't expecting it to take over 40 minutes to fix one nail. After he finished the last coat and I thought we were done, he kept filing my nail until it was oval/almond shaped, when I asked for round like the rest of my nails. On top of that, it was noticeably longer than my other thumb and he made me pay for it. There has always been a one week guarantee at every nail shop I have been to before. I don't even know what to say now.. And the search for my go-to nail place continues. read more

I just had basic ass nails in my photos. I specified if a gel pedi was okay, and she told me no no more time you can come back later. So I said that's okay I'll do regular polish. I waited till 4:30. I asked about how much longer ? She said all I need to do is finish painting her nails. She sat my in the pedi chair to soak my feet. It's 4:45!!! And I told them you know what when I first got here you said 15 mine. It's been way more then that. Instead of apologizing she started laughing. I told her this is a horrible nail salon and walked out. As I was walking the other girls started laughing.
