I wanted a simple, clean manicure and glad I came here! I did a walk in and they assigned Suki to do my manicure. It was exactly what I wanted and so worth the price! Suki did an excellent job cleaning up my nails. I'm a happy camper.

I have been here off and on over the years. The last few months I have enjoyed getting my mani's & pedi's here because of Suki. She is very nice and takes her time to look at the details of her work. This is somewhat hard to find these days. She takes her time to perfect the looks that I request. I highly recommend her.

But one of the workers there named Patricia kept me entertained she was so cute and friendly made the time go by quick . Jane is amazing! She is so sweet and nice. I forgot what lady did my nails the first time, but I had called the shop and asked if they could redo my gel mani and spa pedi. Jane did an awesome job and she was very patient (everyone knows it's the hardest decision to make when it comes to nail colors). I would give this place more stars, but I had to take time out of my day to come back to get my nails redone. If you go here ask for Jane.

Love this place!! The ladies are super nice and quick. Stopped by because my nails were in need of some help but only had a short amount of time. I was able to explain what I wanted and she got to work! I wouldn't say she rushed but she was pretty quick. Best part my nails looked great. The gel was super smooth, even and shiny. Now I know you might be thinking they should always be, but trust me I have had them done (at other nail salons) and they were not so nice. She was super friendly. I will be back for sure!!

I walked in today with no appointment I was immediately greeted and seated with Patricia. She was so sweet. She listened to everything i wanted. Im real picky with my shape, but Patricia nailed it! My full set came out sooo good. I also got a gel pedi which came out beautiful as well. She took her time with both services, and paid attention to every detail. She asked and made sure i was satisfied multiple times, which i appreciate so much! Will definitely come back to Patricia! :)

Modern Nails is my go to nail salon every time I need to pamper myself. Appointments are highly recommended if you want your favorite nail technician take care of you. Although, you can also just walk in and get lucky with someone available if you need an immediate fix. Usually I get my manicure and pedicure and some facial treatments. Employees are always super friendly and helpful. Definitely love everyone there! read more

I booked an appointment for me and my husband, for his Birthday celebration. We planned a relaxing Mani/Pedi and an early dinner. The appointment was scheduled for 11:00 on Saturday. When we got there they put me in a chair and told my husband it would be about 20 minutes. Very strange, because we scheduled an appointment! Needless to say, I was done with my pedicure at 11:45, he was still waiting. They were not apologetic and didn't offer any explanation. He said Nevermind. We paid for my pedicure and left. So disappointed and angry. I wouldn't have started my pedicure if I thought he wasn't going to get one. I can only hope our dinner reservation goes better than this!!!! (P.S. my pedicure wasn't very nice. Not for 45 minutes of my day!) read more

The best mani/pedi I've ever had. Patricia was an excellent technician who was meticulous in her services. I've never had anyone who paid such close attention to detail. She takes her time, ensures your nails are perfect, and has great skill. One of the things that stood out was how she took her time and wasn't rushing like other places do. She also tried several different gel-glitter styles on my nails to let me choose from. It was clear she cared that I liked my nails. Now the hand-arm massage. I usually skip it because it's often done with weak, unenthusiastic energy. This time, I decided to let Patricia do it. And as I suspected, she was excellent. My pedicure didn't disappoint. Close attention to the trimming and cleaning up. Nail polish was perfectly applied. I highly recommend Patricia and I will be coming back here all the time. Note: this is not a "fancy" place. But what I got as the end result was way worth any frills. read more

So happy with this establishment! The host was so sweet, offering me bottled water and making sure I was greeted as I arrived. Stephanie did a great job and was so friendly and easy to talk to. My nails came out wonderful! She explained the differences between the types of gels, powder, etc. Going to be my regular nail place! 10/10 recommend. read more

I have been getting my mani/pedi at Modern Nails since moving to Las Vegas in 2012. They are clean, friendly, the main person has been there the entire years. They are great with walk-ins. In you are in town for a visit, this is a great spot away from the Resort corridor and cheaper too! If you are looking for a new shop check them out. read more

Close and convenient. I like their pedicures but they have no problem telling you "No" to you. For example as a walk-in "No" not available come back. After pedicure "No" time to touch up cuticles. Constantly "No" time with probably 6+ attendants. Perhaps it's more polite to accommodate the customer always by saying "Yes". read more

As always, the ladies here are super friendly. I usually do a "Walk In" appointment, so I always get someone different. But between Suzy, Suqy, Sabrina and Amy, I've never had a bad manicure! I've been lucky with the walk ins, and usually get seated immediately or within 5-10 mins. The place is always clean and bright. I've been coming here for months now. Super close to the house and wouldn't go anywhere else. If you are on this side of town, definitely stop by or make an appointment and check out these manicurist! read more

This is absolutely the worst nailshop in Las Vegas. I have never been to worse nail shop they have horrible service. They're completely racist If you come in they were completely deny you even if somebody is open. I went two times and was fine with their service. They were just rude. I just like how they did my toes well one lady. Every experience I have had after completely horrible. I have never met such a horrible staff who is so rude didn't even speak when you asks the question. I rare this place a complete zero stars and I don't recommend anybody to come here.!! read more

This place is great! Annie usually does my nails but the rest of the girls are great too. Not only are they a great price, the customer service is amazing and they are so sweet here. I always walk out loving my nails- and my gel nails usually only take up to 30 minutes. read more

I've gone to this place a couple of times. The first time they did my nails ok. But the second time I went, I got fungus on 3 of my nails! The lady's work desk looked dirty, and her materials looked unsanitary, I knew I should've gotten up and not got my nails done there! Now I'm left with fungus on my nails. Do not go here! read more

Very disappointed about my last Service for gel manicure. I have been going to thai nail salon for 2 years and lately the greeting is fading and this gel polish was the worst. Photo is 2 days after! Top coat is peeling already the blue and yellow are see through bc she didn't want to put more coats. (2 only) Sorry ladies I'll switch into another salon. read more

This is my favorite nail salon in Las Vegas and Annie is the best nail tech! I never miss an appointment every 2 weeks with her. They always come out the way I request and I've even let her come up with some her own ideas. No matter what I always get compliments and send people her way. Go see Annie, you won't be disappointed. I've tried Modern a few times now and I'm always disappointed. This past time, my nails started chipping 6 hours AFTER I left. While I like the atmosphere and the nail technicians are nice, the quality is severely lacking in application and product. read more

Love this salon. They always do a great job & I always get compliments on my nail job. Steven did my nails today. I got a fill for my pink & white gel with glitter silver line & he did a perfect job. Not only do my nails look great but he made sure that they are secure. Which is great. Will be coming back in 2 weeks! And what also sets them apart or maybe it's timing, but I never have to wait (with appt). Other places could have you wait almost 30 minutes with an appt! Entire staff are very friendly too! They also have a huge selection on the new luxury gel colors. read more

HORRIBLE. Do not even waste your time. They act like you are inconveniencing them. Not to mention pushy! I had an appointment and showed up 30 minutes early. I walked in told the women at the front I had an appointment and was early so I will look at colors while I wait. She said "no I can do you now". I asked her if she could please give me a couple minutes to let me choose a color and she said no. " Right now or no nails". I said "but I don't have a color?". She rolled her eyes and turned to the other nail technicians and said "oh she can't pick color, no nails then". I walked out. Never going back!! read more

I wanted swarovski crystals and the nails tech used cheap glue and rushed me in the process of doing my nails so the crystals fell off the same day. I went back to get them replaced and he replaced them with regular rhinestones which isnt a problem but I still paid for swarovski crystals. Very c r a p p y job unfortunately. He didn't place nails at cuticle he put it above so now it looks like I've had these on for a month. They won't be getting another penny out of me unless i am desperate. If your feet are really bad It's not going to do that much. The key is to go get your feet done at least once a month. Keep lotion on your feet or Vaseline At night with a sock. I do like the way they do fingernails. I think I will just do my feet at home. Thank you to the owner for making it right. I will consider going back again because of helena.

Instead of creating a more relaxing experience, the entire appointment felt hurried from start to finish. My manicurist was impatient, hurried, and gave the impression that she wanted to get through the appointment as quickly as possible. She seemed to resent even reasonable requests or questions, responding with visible impatience rather than professionalism. There was no warmth, no conversation, and no effort to make the experience enjoyable. Her movements were rough and, at times, painful. Even after I indicated that something hurt, she didn't slow down or adjust her technique. The manicure reflected the same lack of care. She didn't bother cleaning up excess polish around the edges or correcting small imperfections before finishing. I had to insist on a separate nail file from the one she had just used on my toes - I must have broken "the bank" cost-wise based on the raised eyebrows and argument I got. The little plastic container housing the files and buffer and such was dirty, y'all! The entire appointment felt like I was just another stop on a conveyor belt rather than a valued customer. The most unprofessional moment came when she insisted I pay before the service was complete. I declined, explaining that I prefer to pay after the service was finished. She immediately became far more animated and engaged than she had been during the entire appointment--but only to argue about being paid in advance. It was the most interest she showed throughout the visit. Overall, the experience felt like minimalist service at premium prices. I expected attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. Instead, I left feeling like an inconvenience. I won't be returning.

The last time I had my nails done here my gel mani was left very chunky and uneven, and one of my nails was trimmed too short on the side (not the edge) near my cuticle. It didn't bleed but the skin was tender until it grew out. I still have no idea why someone would CUT into the side of the nail when it just needed filing but I guess you get what you pay for? My next salon spent a considerable amount of time drilling down the excess and gave my nails a normal shape again. I doubt I'll be coming back.

Came to Las Vegas for the weekend, I didn't have my nails done so I had to get them done ASAP for my night. When I came in to the shop I was greeted by one of the nail technicians, and waited for about 5 minutes before they took me. The place is clean and spacious. The chairs were comfortable when I was getting my nails done. I had Jane as my nail technician. I had pink and white done and a spa pedicure. She did a fantastic job. The spa pedicure was so relaxing, she gave a great foot massage even though its not really a foot massage by itself. Overall I really enjoyed my time here, and I would definitely come back when I come back to town. read more

I just moved to this area for few days. I want something new. So I wanted to do the manicure and nails polish yesterday. So I just used yelp to look for the shop which near my house. This is the nails shop that really fit my needs. I know I am kinda picky person, especially my nails. They did a great job for me. I was satisfied. That's why I wanna yelp it . Just got my gel acrylics done here today by Jane and the quality of service was great! She was quick but very accurate in her work and the amount of gel polish that was available to choose from made my decision in color choice fun! Also got my eye brows waxed and she did an amazing job and giving great shape back to them and trimming them some so they were not to long! I would recommend this salon to every one, I have gotten pedicures here many times and love the variety of pedicures available and the variety of regular polishes they have to choose from! read more

I was a little bit skeptical coming here since it doesn't really have a high rating. After I got here I waiting about 5 minutes before they got started on me.
