I would consider this my starter nail salon. Before coming here a few months ago I had only had my nails professionally done a few times in my life, so with that lens I wasn't experienced enough to tell a good gel mani from a bad one. The last time I had my nails done here my gel mani was left very chunky and uneven, and one of my nails was trimmed too short on the side (not the edge) near my cuticle. It didn't bleed but the skin was tender until it grew out. I still have no idea why someone would CUT into the side of the nail when it just needed filing but I guess you get what you pay for? My next salon spent a considerable amount of time drilling down the excess and gave my nails a normal shape again. I doubt I'll be coming back. read more

I've been coming to see Jackie for a while now and she is always so pleasant! She is so accommodating to my schedule which helps so much with having a toddler at home! She does such a good job on my nails and is always so quick but efficient with her work! EVERYONE is so friendly when I come in! Do NOT go here because very dishonest people and BAD business practice! When I called and asked how much a gel fill was, Tony said $45. I got a plain color gel fill and when I went to pay, Mimi said it was $55 because of filing my nail down (which is literally what a regular fill is) but she charged $10 for that. She never even asked me if I wanted any shape or anything. On the receipt, she marked down "nail enhance upgrade" extra $10. Not sure what the upgrade was and she did a very sloppy paint job. My fill isn't even filled in all the way and they're uneven. She had no care. I've gotten my nails done for 15+ years and this was the first time I've encountered this where they're not upfront with pricing! Usually they would tell you "design extra $5 or coffin nails extra $5 but mine was literally just a regular gel fill with a solid color! It was NOT shaped either and Mimi did not care. Weird vibe and she kept asking me the same few questions after I already answered them so clearly she doesn't listen either. I'm really disappointed with my experience here. I originally came in for a Gel-X set and immediately noticed issues with the application. The nails were very thin and you could see my natural nail through the polish, which shouldn't happen with this type of service. I returned to the salon to have them fixed, but unfortunately I woke up the next morning to one of the nails already broken. Based on the way the nails were applied (very thin and placed far from the cuticle), I was honestly not surprised that it didn't last. After already coming back once for a correction, I asked for a refund so I could have the nails removed and redone elsewhere, but the salon refused and only offered to fix them again. At that point I didn't feel comfortable spending more time trying to repair a set that was not applied correctly in the first place. I paid around $80 for this service and expected it to last longer than one day. I hope the salon improves the quality of their applications and how they handle situations like this for future customers. read more

Rude people. Bad quality. When I ask them to fix my nails because of the product being so uneven(I could still see the nail product and color underneath that I came in with), she then handles my hands roughly and rushed and she didn't care what it looked like. The guy doing the pedicure insinuated I had fungus on my toes just so he could add on a treatment and charge me more. I asked another nail technician to look at my toe nails...No fungus and I've never had fungus on or under any of my nails!!! Horrible experience! read more

Salon: Very clean, smells good (interestingly lol), and good music selection I had to find a new salon as my old nail tech moved back to her home town. I am SO GLAD that I came across CATCHY NAIL! Upon entering, the staff there were very welcoming and nice. The aesthetic of the salon is quaint and cute! Personally, I like that aesthetic more the flashy and luxurious places. The mix of the decor and the staff made it feel so comfortable. Stacey was the Nail artist that did my nails and she was very sweet. I showed her my nail inspiration and she DEFINITELY NAILED it! I always go to Trina, I have been going to her for years and she is absolutely the best with impeccable attention to detail every time. She also gives the best pedicure in the Valley! I opted for the Volcano Spa Pedicure which is infused with CBD. Such a relaxing pedicure!!! For my hands, I got Gel X, although I usually get acrylic with gel polish. I wanted to wait about a week before I write this review. Glad to see my gel manicure is holding up real well. My job requires me to do some heavy typing and I'm pleased to report the gel polish is still shiny and chip-free. My natural nails are still nicely shaped too. It looks like from some of the other reviews, this place has gone under new management? Hence only the handful of reviews. Saw their banner about the 20% off mani/pedi combo or 15% off for other services for new customers only so my friend and I decided to come check them out. My manicurist, Stacey, was gentle and precise throughout the entire process. She was patient when I couldn't exactly decide on which shade of pink I wanted. We went through a few trail & errors too until I finally settled on something. She made sure to had multiple coats so the color will show better. I also opted for a pearl finish...which that cost me an additional $15 on top of my $40 gel manicure on my natural nails. Prices were comparable...better than the other nail salons on the same street. If I ever need to get my nails done, this will most likely be my go-to nail salon from now on. I had to knock off a star because they charge a credit card fee. Like come on now....it's 2023...who still uses cash nowadays? Plus I thought this world has gone cashless. read more

I came in today excited to show my mom the nail place I enjoy going to. I arrived at 11 am and they immediately sat us down for our pedicure. Their was two people before me and my mom but the older man sat and did my moms pedicure right away he was so nice and he did a really good job on my moms pedicure. The younger man came after her manicure that he was doing on another women and be sat down and started working on my pedicure and my son had called me at 11:58 am right when he started and I was explaining that the man came late and he was rushing the pedicure he didn't even shape or use callus remover mind me I asked for the express pedicure he finished by 12:15 noon and than I told him wow that was fast and he like chuckled and walked away as I was paying I told the older man wow that was the fastest pedicure ive ever received and he said I will take $10 off and I was like well I guess I didn't even get my pedicure and so he proceeded to charge me $60 for both pedicures I am not the type to complain but when I have to pay for them cutting my time and making it seem like I was in the wrong is not correct. Especially when I go there often and I am a very kind person. I really like this place! I originally wanted to go to a different nail salon, but this place happened to be right next to where I was eating lunch. I arrived as a walk-in about 1-2 hrs before closing, but they took me in right away. They play good music and have a pretty comfortable ambiance. My manicure was done really well and I looovvee the color selections they have. Unfortunately, the bow on my nails came off after three days because it wasn't very secure, so that is the only complaint I have. I spontaneously came back for a pedicure a week later. Went in yesterday for a gel pedicure left an hour and 30 minutes later with an incomplete pedicure and was still charge full price even tho I didn't get my full pedicure because I was there way to long and had to go pick up my daughter! The dude who did my pedicure fucked up my nails with the file and then tried to say it was fungus and tried to sell me a damn product??? The two males there make you feel so damn uncomfortable! They were talking in their language looking me up and down nodding their head laughing? Like how do you have all this time to laugh and joke but you not making sure my pedicure is up to par???
