If i could give them 0 stars I would. I came in to get my nails soaked off, instead they removed them with a finger nail clipper and a the tip of a fake nail. While doing this, I ended up being stabbed in my nail with the tip of that fake nail and it caused me to start bleeding. After they were done, i asked if the fee could be waived since i was injured and i was given a nasty look by one of the nail techs. I was given a bandaid and the fee was waived after explaining to the receptionist. Also, the tech that was doing my nails was more focused on his gamr on his ipad rather than servicing me. My first visit with this spa was WONDERFUL!! Great service and Andy (owner) did a great job! However, I have been back on three different occasions and each time he changes the price! I started in July and the price was $45 for a fill and the was an extra charge for the length of my nails. I went back in Aug and it was $50. I inquired about the price and he said it was always $50. I went back again in October and it was $50. I went in December and it was $55 and he stated it's always been $55. So that was the last time I will be going. On top of it all I was able to make an appointment in July and August. For my visits in October and December they do t take appointments. I arrived and he had a 30-45 minute wait. I asked if he could tell me a better time to come as I don't have 45 minutes to just wait around. And his reply was first come first serve. I left and got my nails done in Atlanta (which is home for me). I don't like dishonesty and this place has proven record of not being up front. The so a great job but if the service is under par and then your dealing with prices changing on a whim. I can find somewhere else to do business when I am working in Nashville. Smh read more

On a lazy afternoon whim to get a mani/pedi I decided to give Bella a shot. I'm no expert on nail salons as I only go a few times a year on a treat-yo-self basis. When I get my nails done its 50% about the nails and 50% about relaxing a bit. It's not a glamorous place. Some nail salons are lined with tvs and paint on the ceiling that kind of passes for clouds. This place is a slight step down from that fanciness but it doesn't feel dirty by any means. Overall it feels like a lot of things are just in need of updating. The massage chair was a little weird. It was one of the less relaxing pedicure chairs I've experienced. The towel she brought out to lay on my legs had definitely seen better days. I can see past all of this but the part that really got to me was when she brought out the tools for my manicure. Personally, I am always the most comfortable when the tools are opened fresh from a sterilized pouch in front of me. This does not appear to be the protocol here. The service started out very friendly. She was very liberal with the scrub/massage. Which is the best part of a pedicure, unless you're clinically insane. She offered me a drink and was very polite. Unfortunately, when the time came for my manicure, she worked very hard to talk me out of getting color. I felt very pressured into just getting a clear coat because "the color won't last very long without the gel". Let's be honest, we all know that. I still wanted the color because I was treating myself that afternoon. After stating several times that I didn't care I still wanted the color, the pressure to just do a clear coat (at the same price) continued so I finally gave up. It felt like I was being rushed out so they could close up shop. I certainly understand wanting to get home after a long day, but she was very slow throughout the pedicure process (40 minutes) so it seems unfair to skimp on the manicure. If it were cheap, I would say to go for it but the cost is average while the level of quality is not. read more

This is a 3 star nail salon. Average facilities, average service. My nail tech was not rude but not especially kind either. My nails look fine, there are some air bubbles. I do like the price -$15 for acrylic refill, which is more affordable then some other spots in this area. This is my favorite nail spa in the Donelson/Hermitage area. I'd go on my lunch break when I worked in Donelson and they always got me in and out in an hour. Lots of gel polish colors and designs to choose from and they do a great job at a reasonable price. Highly recommend. read more

Good thing I was told about the location, as my GPS misled me to about half-mile from the actual location. If I could have given this place no stars then I would have! Normally, I don't go through the trouble of leaving reviews if a business is not up to par; however, I had to make a special exception for them. The guy technician who did my nails was very sweet, but he did not listen. As he was doing my nails, I repeatedly told him they were not right, crooked and too short. He continued any way and soon I was done. I was charged $45 and my nails looked horrendous, each nail was a completely different shape. I spoke with the manager there, Annie (very sweet lady), who told me to come back in when convenient (since I had a time constraint and could not have it fixed at that moment). I ended up coming back in the very next day. I spoke with some older Asian man, the "owner", who, from the beginning of the encounter, was rude and combative. I explained the situation to him SEVERAL times, I reiterated to him how ALL of my nails looked terrible and were too short, just as I had explained to Annie who had no problem understanding my issue. Even though I was the customer and was inconvenienced by having to drive all the way back in, he wanted me to pay an additional $20 to change my nail color (even though they had to take the nails off and start over completely). Although I was initially upset, I eventually understood and decided to stay with the same color. The tech asked me to follow her so she could "shape" my nails. I became increasingly irritated as I felt no one was listening to my concern, no one wanted to help and actually fix the issue. So, for the fifth time, I explained what needed to be done. The "owner" was condescending and smirked asking me "all 10?" (I calmly answered yes only for him to ask me AGAIN) as if I had not been saying that the entire time!! He refused to take responsibility for the shoddy job and I knew a refund was not an option. As you can imagine my frustration level was through the roof at this point. I asked the manager to please stop asking me questions so that I can calm down. He KEPT TALKING and placed the blame on me for leaving the previous day as if none of this had already been explained several times at this point. He raised his voice again and again as I asked him to please give me a moment to calm down so that I can, AGAIN, answer his questions. Finally, I lost it. I raised MY voice to which he responded by jumping up out of his chair, running up on me, getting in my face, putting his finger in my face all while yelling at me telling me to get out of his store!! He obviously was not use to a woman standing up for herself because he balled his fist up as if he was going to punch me in my face. His workers had to pull him back from getting his ass beat in front of his customers because... I refuse. I have never been treated this way at any other respectable, professional establishment. I felt like I took every measure to avoid the confrontation the owner obviously wanted and welcomed. They have lost a loyal customer (I don't even live in Hermitage but refused to go elsewhere) and many more (as I have informed all of my friends / family / coworkers) of my experience. I guess he needed my $45 that badly? I have been looking for a new nail salon in the Hermitage area due to past mediocre experiences. The staff is friendly enough, and the prices are reasonable. But, my finger nail polish started chipping and flaking off within 12 hours. And I didn't do any housework or gardening, or even the dishes. I had chosen a pale color in case this happened, but it is a little ridiculous. The manicurist tried to tell me that if I didn't use the shellac color (which is $20 more) that my fingernails weren't going to look nice anyway. Ouch. Had mani-pedi today. I kept asking technician to trim and file toe nails more. Never happened. When I was getting my manicure, the trimmers were very dull. I was visiting from Chicago so me and my sisters decided to pamper ourselves with mani's and Pedi's. When we arrived it looked clean and the staff was nice. My sister and I was seated together for our pedi and I told both Tech's I wanted the DELUX for both of us. In Chicago, what Bella calls a deluxe (removing dead skin) is what's considered basic (all inclusive) in Chicago for 10.00 LESS. They never used a skin "scrapper" or "grater" to remove dry skin, they only used a loofa stone. So when my sisters pedi was complete and her feet LOTIONED you could still see flaky dead skin ALL OVER HER HEELS! One of the staff asked her to come to take a look and she never did. When my services was complete I POLITELY and QUIETLY when to the female owner and asked if she could come look at my sisters feet because I paid for deluxe and her feet still had dead skin on them. She stated she could not do anything more because she did not want to make her bleed. I've never heard anyone bleed from using a LOOFA STONE!! She literally ignored me and started with another customer. I again asked her politely and quietly that I just paid 80.00 for two deluxe Pedi's and she needed to take a look. She kept saying no, no no! I immediately got very loud and told her she was ignoring and being rude to me as a PAYING CUSTOMER. Her husband finally came over and loofa'ed harder and the skin came off. He never put lotion on her feet or told her she was done. He just walked away. Remember I paid earlier for BOTH our services to the tech that was servicing me. When we walked out, she stopped my sister and said WE DID NOT PAY! But the other tech said we did pay earlier. I have been a customer here since December 2017. I don't have a complaint about any of the three nail techs I have had (Vina, Kyla and Tom). They are always professional and do a great job. There is something that has always bothered me in the past and was especially mindful today, just to make sure there is a pattern. I notice that every customer is greeted with enthusiasm when entering this establishment. I also noticed that for every Caucasian customer who exited, they were told, by the man who's station is directly behind the reception desk, thank you for coming, have a nice day. For the two African Americans who left before me and the same for me...nothing. This makes me sad...why is there a difference? The money I spend should be appreciated just as much as the Caucasian customers. It is something I felt compelled to bring to the attention of this establishment but not worth the confrontation. terrible experience from the moment I sat down. my pedicure was done in a rush; she cut my toe nails, but never filed anything, my technician wasn't very nice, and was constantly looking around and not paying attention to my feet or nails. I also asked for a fill in. I showed a picture of what I wanted the polish to look like (very basic) and she said she could do it. my nails had more than enough length for her to put acrylic on top without adding white tip, but she jaggedly cut all my finger nails off and added the tips with minimal glue. as you can already tell I'm very particular and I should have just asked her to stop at that point, but I had work later that day and didn't want to get behind. I also thought there might be a new technique, but as I thought I was wrong. within a week all of my nails have risen on the sides and are starting to fall off, my polish barely lasted the weekend, and my feet were very sore and tender the next day. I would not recommend. Overpriced and lackluster service. I went on Saturday for a mani and pedi and left with disgusting nails and gooey polish on my toes. As far as the pedicure, I have never been rushed through a pedicure so quickly. I didn't even get to enjoy the experience because she rushed it and talked on her phone the entire time. She did not rub my feet or even apply lotion at any point. She scraped my calluses for maybe a total of thirty seconds which resulted in me still having rough spots (I'm a runner but typically just a basic pedicure leaves me with soft feet). Move on to the manicure and full set. I tried discussing my concerns with the nail tech as she was applying my acrylics and she ignored what I asked as she continued making phone calls through the entire process. I was told it cost extra to have my cuticles cleaned up before applying acrylic nails. I was completely floored as to what I was paying $30 for. I tried speaking with the manager once the lady got up to take another phone call and was told they could clean up the polish on my toes but if I wanted my nails to look better it would be another $15. Needless to say, I left with $55 less in my wallet and will still have to go get another manicure at some point this week. read more
