I am so glad I found Lilly's nails! I was referred to Ava for a manicure and the results were 10/10. I've never had a nail tech actually LISTEN to what I want. They either try and convince me to do something else, don't listen when I ask to go shorter or just give me a hard time about it. Wish I would have read the negative reviews first. The guy who does nails seems to not be the best while the others are good. He cut me 3 times while doing my manicure and each time made me more uncomfortable that he would do it again. Not a relaxing or pleasant experience. He seemed to be in a rush so I wish he would have slowed down, maybe he wouldn't have made so many mistakes. Definitely not worth the $50 manicure. I opted for a French tip dip nail and wasn't thrilled by the outcome, it felt sloppy. It's cloudy/bubbly and the line isn't sharp. It kind of looks like the white powder got on the rest of the nail. The regular pedicure was good so maybe I should have stuck with that and not bothered with the manicure Bummed because the ladies were nice so I really wanted to like this place and find my go-to nail salon since I'm new or the area. read more

I came in to get a full set and I had a photo reference. After the male nail tech started the process it was just not executed well and I wanted a marble design and after watching the tech I realized it was a bit difficult so I asked for just ombré. 2 hours later i left with my set and it was just not done well. I would have been fine to be told that they couldn't do either design and I would have picked something less difficult. read more

I never ever leave reviews but I feels it's necessary today. I used to only go to Lily's but I will not be returning. This past year they have changed ownership around 3 times and each time I go there are different workers. I went a month ago and loved it. Today I got there right at opening (they were late getting there). My friend and I were the first customers and they quickly became overwhelmed with people. The entire 2 hours I was there they kept getting people for appointments and asking them to wait. They didn't have enough workers to manage even the appointments (one lady had a 10:30 appointment and didn't get helped till 11). I had originally asked for an easy design on my fingers but two workers huffed and made it seem impossible (it was a pastel water color look). So I ended up just doing solid on my fingers. The man who did my nails got paint all over my fingers and toes. The paint is all over my nail beds and skin on both my fingers and toes. I also have paint missing on parts of fingers and toes as well. He cut my cuticle on my thumb and it bled. My fingers look like they have dry skin all over where the cut them. The edges of my finger nails are bumpy and rough. When he placed my foot back in my shoe there was so much oil on my toes that my shoe now has an oil stain The workers are very nice but did not fix anything. I asked him to trim some of the skin and he did one snip. I asked him to get the paint off of my skin and he didn't. I asked him to file the rough parts of my nails and he did one and none of the others (even when I asked again). read more

I went in for a regular pedicure and a gel fill. I got the basic pedicure and the girl who did my pedicure doesn't do manicures and decided to start my fill while I was in the pedicure chair and cut me when she was drilling off my gel polish with the extra rough drill head. I had a broken nail and once the acrylic was laid my real nail had a gap between it and the acrylic. Instead of correcting that, the nail tech decided to add nail glue to get the two to stick together. All that did was glue my skin to my nail. I asked her to fix it and I'm still left with a gap where water will get into my nail and acrylic glue under my nail. The place is nice and they have a lot of colors but I'm not all the impressed unfortunately. And they are pricey. They charge extra depending on the length you get. A gel fill is $55. A regular fill is $45. read more

I got tips and dips done on the 13th and when the tech was putting them on, I noticed that there was a gap between my natural nails and the tips. I mentioned this to the tech and he said it was ok because he put glue. I told him they will break because they already feel week and he said it was ok and the glue and powder will not allow for breaks. Well, low and behold, I was right. 8 days later and one nail breaks then 2 days after that, another. The techs were nice but with the amount of time (3 hours in the nail salon to be exact) and money I spent on my nails; I expected better. read more

Kristy gave me a pedicure and it was the best and most relaxing one ever! Any good tech can get the nail polish right (which she absolutely did), but the trim, buff and callus treatment were also first rate. Went here today to get a pedicure because it had good ratings on yelp but I was really disappointed. The whole experience was not good. First, they filled the basin with water but they didn't add any soap/soak. Pretty sure that's not very hygenic. I'd barely put my foot in the water and the lady was pulling it back out to work on my nails - WHICH WAS THE WORST. She clipped my cuticles and skin around my nails so short that it was really painful. I even made a comment that it hurt but she kept clipping. And now that I'm home, there are spots that are actually bleeding. Next, she put on some kind of gel on the bottom of my foot, so I had to leave my foot sitting out in the cold and couldn't put it back in the warm water. A couple minutes later, she began buffing my heels with what I'm pretty convinced was a cheese grater. I have never seen anything like it in a salon before. She went really hard on my right heel but barely touched my left. She then did the sugar scrub but she barely scrubbed my leg or my foot. I also asked for the deluxe pedicure which was supposed to include a hot lotion (not sure what that is but it's listed as part of it on the menu) but they didn't do this. So there was really no leg or foot massage. I mean, isn't this what we pay for?! She also dropped my leg a couple of times during the process instead of setting it back down nicely. Last, another lady had to come in and paint my nails. Not sure why, I'm guessing the lady I had might have been in training?! But she stood there and watched the rest of the time which was not relaxing at all. I expected things to get better at this point because it seemed like the new lady knew what she was doing. NOPE! The polish looks horrible. There are big gaps around the edge of my nails and spots where the polish is clinging to my raw skin. I'll post a pic of this. Because she didn't paint to the edge of my nails they looked really strange and awkwardly shaped. Warning to all! read more

I have tried most of the nail spas in Hendersonville and have used several of them many times. To be honest, I will still occasionally hit a few of the "good ones" for a quick pedi; but, always prefer to wait for Trang At Lilly's when it comes to my gel manicures. My nail beds used to itch after a gel manicure and I now wonder if it is the many times salons left you wrapped in foil forEVER or slipping on primer? They don't itch when I go to Lilly's and last much longer (3 week's last time...unheard of for me). I like that the salon is all family, so you get to know them without a rotating door. I noticed most reviews are older, so here is a newer one. I stopped in for a pedicure after my dental appointment. It was a Saturday afternoon and I was hoping to get squeezed in. Luckily, it wasn't busy. After picking out my color and maybe a 5 minute wait, I went to my salon chair. Train (sp?) was great! I have eczema on my feet and she understood. She gave me a great pedicure without the scrapping tool. Great massage on my legs. She was super friendly and fun. Reasonable pricing. I highly recommend Lilly's nails. read more

I spent $75 and got the worst service from the mother who doesn't speak just looks mad all the time until you tip her, then she's happy and speaks English. The pedicure was horrible and I was overcharged for all services, looking at the fee list and she did such a crappy job she didn't even use lotion when done, my feet were so dry. She didn't massage my legs or feet at all. I get pedicures every month and this was the worse by far. Shop could be cleaner. Glitter balls hanging from ceiling are so dusty, like they've never been cleaned in more than 10yrs. Just sucked. Best thing was the massage chair. She didn't even make sure my nails were even. There are too many shops in Hendersonville to settle for the worst. read more

I've been here 4 times now total. Here is what I've decided on this particular shop: Pros: Good color selection of dip, gel, and polish. Clean and really great massage chairs. Convenient the location to bypass Indian Lake traffic. Prices are fair. They don't try to make conversation with you while you're trying to relax. Cons: The owner (younger girl) is a little extra for me. They are usually on a wait and don't take reservations. That's about all I've got. I like this place for what it is. Hendersonville has a lot of nail salons but very few are worth anything. This is a good one to try out if you're looking for somewhere new. read more

1 1/2 weeks ago I went to a different local nail spa in Hendersonville and asked them to do something pretty, fresh, and summery on my nails. They completely didn't even get anything close to what I wanted. After calling and showing up to Lilly's nail spa not only were they nice, they helped me pick out color/colors, designs and walked me through what I wanted. Not only did I get something I wanted, I got something completely unique, beauty, and summery. The quailty they did for my nails is something I haven't seen before and I have been to a lot of nail salons/spas. I am a lifer with them for sure. Stopped there for pedicure. It was nice and decorated well. The guy was working really slow on my pedicure. Not a problem, I thought he was taking his time because it was slow and he wanted to do a good job. Got to the front (where the light is brighter) and saw there was polish all over the side of my toe!! When I showed it to the girl working there who spoke English well, she said my toe was crooked!! When I asked if the guy could get the polish off, she said "it will wash off eventually!!" Very poor service... and I skipped the manicure!! read more

I have been going to another salon in Green Hills for my gel manicures, but I got tired of driving all the way there. I drove by this one day and decided to give it a try. It is SUPER cute inside. I had my nails done here for the first time about a month ago. Overall the gel nails lasted as expected and looked good. The nail tech was a guy who was quiet which I prefer, but he was a little rough. He pushed my arms around instead of asking me to move my arm. I also asked him not to cut my cuticles because they bleed, and he cut them anyway. I am still looking for a place as good as fave in my hometown. read more
