I had an appointment today at 5:30PM. One nail technician let three other older adults go before me (even though I was there first and had an appointment). I was not seen until 6:15PM because of this. It is as if that nail tech believed that the older clients were seen as better than myself because I was a younger client. I walked in here for the first time on a Sunday afternoon and was very happy with my visit. The spa is lovely, and the koi pond and waterfall make for a tranquil, relaxing setting. They offer free wi-fi, which was a nice surprise. And the layout is great - there were at least half a dozen people when I walked in, but the place was fairly quiet and didn't feel at all crowded. I went in for an appointment just to sit there and wait for them to tell me that the had to cancel my appointment and that they left a voicemail. I did not receive a phone call or any message. I said I still wanted to get a dip manicure, I have been here before it wasn't bad. But this time I had a very unpleasant experience. I wanted to get an ombré dip original but I didn't trust someone else doing it aside from the lady who was supposed to. But the owner INSISTED that all her nail techs could. I got a man who was rude and harsh. The manicure has to be the worst thing I have ever seen. They have high prices for low quality. I will never go back again. read more

i came to this salon due to the fact it was later in the day and everywhere else was closing, at first i fell in love with the beautiful salon. i got gel. the next day, there were air bubbles all over my thumbs. when they starting to rip off over time, the gel polish under was still wet and gotten everywhere. I went back the next day and called before i came, still waited 45+ minutes to fix 2 nails. the lady blamed me for it saying i did not have my thumbs in the lamp and that was why they were messed up. sure again, the next day the same thing happened on the same nails plus one more. I never write reviews on anything, whether good or bad, but I could not believe this nail salon Bella and their practices. After being talked into getting the "nail dipping process" by the owner because she told me it would last longer, I decided to try it. I was told that it would not take more than an hour. After sitting in the chair for almost two hours, the next day two of my nails had cracked. Not even five days later eight nails were cracked and peeling. I went back less than a week later and told them what happened and that I would go back to the gel process. I never thought in a million years I would be charged again. I thought a re-do after five days would not be a charge. And what ticked me off, even more, was that they made an excuse that this happened because of my nails and not any fault of theirs. NOT ONLY SHOULD I NOT HAVE BEEN CHARGED FOR A RE-DO, but I was charged an additional 10 dollars because supposedly I was switching from the nail dipping process back to gel. I thought the gentlemen at the front desk (which was the owner's sister's boyfriend) was kidding about charging me an extra ten dollars. I could not believe he was actually charging me. I was going to contact the owner the next day but decided against it and that I just would never go back. Very disappointed because I know if I get a haircut and am not happy with my haircut, the salon would never charge me for a re-do. Very disappointed that this was the practice of the Bella Salon. I went in to get my acrylics off and just get a gel manicure, the person who did my nails was struggling to get my acrylics off and started to get annoyed to the point that they just ripped off the acrylic and took off my real nail with it. It hurt so much and they didn't seem to care. They already were annoyed that they couldn't take them off and I told them that the nail he just ripped off hurt a lot, they went to get alcohol to put on my finger and he sprayed the bottle of alcohol In my face and didn't even say sorry just rolled their eyes. So I went to Bella Nails & Spa for the first time last week with my Mother and sister for manicures. The staff couldn't have been nicer and gave several suggestions for our service. I was scheduled for a gel manicure, but Michelle thought I would enjoy a "dip" powder manicure instead. She explained how it lasted as long or longer than a gel manicure, and wasn't as strong on my nails, since they wouldn't have to dry under UVA lights, and the ends wouldn't chip. She sold me on the service, and I was glad I took her advice. It was fascinating to watch her work, and this new process was amazing! My nails came out looking super shiny and I have received several comments already. As we were chatting I mentioned my mom would be celebrating her 90th birthday the next day, so my mom's technician finished her manicure off with a paraffin treatment free of charge - fantastic! My sister was also very pleased with her technician. I'm sorry I didn't get their names, but I would highly recommend the staff. I plan on becoming a regular customer and can't wait to go back for some expert pampering!! read more

I came in on a Thursday around 2 it was not busy. I asked the young woman at the desk who is believed to be the supervisor what type of nails did she think was best for me. She had told me about the dip nail gel it was a little pricey, but i said sure. After the tech connie started to put the tips on and the first coat she realized the coat she needed to do my nails was not there. he went back to the owner diluted the gel, as connie was putting the coat on the powder was clumping big time. The owner comes over asks me if I like it and i told her if my nails look like yours, but mine were a nightmare. Luckily connie said she would file them and round them out and she did however the finished product was not great especially since the owner messed up and had the nerve to charge me full price. Also since connie had to file the nails down so much she had filed my skin and I was bleeding. I dont think it was the tech fault but the owner as she should have all materials available and if not dont suggest to the customer to get the product if a half-as@ job is going to be done. read more
