The salad was average but may have had more onions than lettuce. The garlic knots were over-cooked and hard but could be revived in the microwave. The chicken parm was awful. Although the sauce was pretty good, the chicken was very thin, burned and dry. I've ordered from Bella Napoli Pizzeria many times since moving to Phoenixville last year and I found that the quality of the food is very inconsistent. It's about a 50/50 chance of getting good food delivered. I've never eaten in the restaurant but if I had for this meal, I would've sent it back. Ordered delivery from here during setup for our convention. The name got me to click on this place on DoorDash and the price got me to click order. Decent pizza - big slice NY style, mid sauce, above avg grease but with us lugging a whole store and setting it up this tasted like fresh manna from on high. In fact, I can't confirm with the rest of the team but when I opened to top of the pizza box there was a gold glow and a halo over top the pie. Kind of like in the area where Pizza Hut used to put the pizza tables that as kids we'd keep for no reason after licking the grease off the "legs" of them. Seen it a hundred times. NEVER ORDER FROM HERE! I ordered my food at 5:30, postmates said latest expected delivery time was 6:25. I called the restaurant at 6:25 and they told me the driver had left five minutes ago and could be here shortly. (I am 15 minutes away from this place) It is currently 7:26 and I am still sitting here without anything after repeatedly calling and the person just telling me "they will be there soon." Decent food and good prices but actually no customer service. I ordered from them once over a month ago and the food took about three hours to arrive with an ETA of 45 minutes. I placed the order online an eventually called to see what was going on. I learned they do not answer their own phones but use an overseas call center to place orders that has no ability to contact the actual restaurant. I tried to connect to the restaurant over the next couple days and eventually got to someone who was helpful and said they'd give me a store credit for my $70 order. A few weeks later I wanted to use the store credit but to do that I need to talk to the actual restaurant which is next to impossible to contact. I placed the order online with my own card and when it was delivered spoke to the driver and explained the situation who said they would issue a refund in exchange for the credit. This was on 1/11/26. After a few days without seeing the refund I called, you have to beg the call center to repeatedly try the restaurant to get connected to them. The person I spoke to there apologized and said my refund was on the way. Another week passes and nothing. I spoke to them again who said I needed to speak to the owner Corinna who was not there but would call me very soon, days later and no call or refund. This process has repeated itself multiple times until today an employee told me "there is no manager here, Corinna doesn't come in anyone. I don't know what you want me to do we can't help you" I'm going to let my credit card company handle it from here and do a charge back. Decent food and prices but beware if there is any problem at all with your order you are out of luck. Shameful way to run a business. read more

When ordering online, you have to use the Slice app. I ordered $65 worth of food which was the pricing on the Slice app. When I went to pay, I was charged about $11 more. I have ordered from here a few times due to location and ease of ordering, but the food is really pretty bad. Slapped together, pizza shop type food at high prices. The pizza is decent, but nothing special. The sandwiches I have ordered here have not been good. The chicken parm sandwich is particularly bad. Chicken fingers that taste like they were fried in burnt oil, slapped on a roll with disgusting sauce and tasteless mozzarella and then burned in the oven. Just not worth it. Celiacs and gluten-free rejoice! This is the best gluten free pizza, full stop. The crust is homemade and tastes so good. It isn't the typical flat crust either. It's real pizza crust and it's gluten free! Also Bella Napoli understands that cross contamination is serious. These are the precautions I've noticed as a customer. 1. Their gluten free pizza is made, cooked, and delivered in a foil tray. 2. They give you the whole pie and an individually wrapped pizza cutter in the box. It works surprisingly well. 3. I think by saying it was mediocre would be a compliment. We tried a couple of other places and weren't impressed and there was a deal on the Slice App so we checked it out. They did not disappoint. Pizza was delicious- not greasy at all- I usually ask for "well done" and I forgot but the pies were perfectly cooked and the crust crispy on the outside and soft inside. I am pretty disgusted with this restaurant. They fraudulently charged our credit card and we had to go in and request a refund. The only way we found out was when I was reviewing our charges the next day. My husband ordered pickup and the cashier added a very large tip to the meal. My husband already gave a cash tip. I have read reviews about not using your card here, and I warned my husband about it, but he did not have enough cash. Their meals are very cheap, but I would much rather go to another place to avoid another situation like this. Beware of charges BELLA NAPOLI (in Phoenixville) imposes on your credit card. On 6/29 I ordered a medium meat lovers pizza which was $17.99, but was charged $44. Even with tax, credit card fee, delivery fee and a $5 tip, it still didn't amount to $44. I called the next day several times trying to get the credit back on my friend's card but no one would call me back. I even was put me on an infinite hold. At one point I was told that I had ordered a large meat lovers with extra meat, which was not true and I said so. On my last call (5th time) I informed the girl that I have been a customer for years and I will no longer use them and will post bad reviews. Two minutes later, I received a call apologizing and that someone did try to call me but no answer (right- we all know you can see if someone calls or not). I was told that the difference of $14 would be credited to the card. As of 7/8, there has been no credit issued. I just tried calling and was put immediately on hold and no one came back on. (They may have flagged my number) That's ok because I won't be calling them again. This is a company that takes advantage of their customers and this was not the first time it has happened to me. I think I only received my credit before because I went to the shop directly. It was the first time I purchased from them and thought an honest mistake, but this time, it is deliberate. It is a shame because I liked their pizza and it was the main place I went but there are more pizza shops in the area I will purchase from. Just make sure you check your BELLA NAPOLI receipt- that is if you even receive one, which I did not when it was delivered. Very bad business practice! read more

Disgusted. Called for the first time about a minor issue (same issue every order, third order, first call). Person who answered the phone hands phone to owner. The owner immediately started off accusing me of trying to scam them and all kinds of other made up scenarios. He kept saying I probably did something to the pizza. I just wanted them to acknowledge the issue at first but when it was clear they didn't care to hear feedback I thought at least they might knock off like $2 (a "partial discount" is what I suggested). I just had surgery and can't really cook a lot right now and was planning on my "half" of the pizza feeding me for a while, so when I saw that my cheeseless "half" was maybe ¼ I mistakenly thought they might be able to acknowledge their error. The owner would not even let me talk over all his accusations and insults. I was so incredulous at being attacked right off the bat that I raised my voice back. Between him shouting his ridiculous made up scenarios where I was supposedly a career con artist he said he would send a driver to pick it up and refund us, and I agreed, but then he just kept screaming that we better not touch the pizza and if anyone touches the pizza we can't get a refund, repeatedly. Well I guess he changed his mind when he realized that he was actually going to have to give a refund because not a minute later he denied saying all the things he clearly said and refused a refund while non stop arguing and insulting me. He shouted for me to send my "bitch husband" to him. I just asked him repeatedly if he was denying our refund or not, that was all I wanted to know, but he just kept arguing nonsensically. Genuinely disgusted with the way this man treated me. Yes I raised my voice back, I got frustrated. I did not however, lie, deny saying things I clearly said, make baseless accusations, name call, or insult. The owner made it very clear that he is comfortable lying, shouting at, and insulting customers. I don't think it is a stretch to say a reasonable person would be smart to avoid eating anything that came from someone who hates their customers this much. There should be an an option lower than one star rating for something this absurd. Honestly there are a lot more details I could include but this is getting way too long. Pizza - Football pizza, fairly tight consistency, not greasy, average pie. 6.9/10 The rumors are true, they do up charge for credit cards. Read about it before hand, went into the store and didn't see any signs indicating a credit card fee. Wasn't offered a receipt (probably because they know people would be upset about the different charge to their credit card). Not terribly upset about it because I figured that was the case based on the reviews and while some places do charge a credit card fee, they generally disclose the charge... since you know.... it's 2020 and credit cards are common. The up charge was 8.75% which is egregious, guess it offsets their 10% slice app discount but again I figured something like this was the case. (See Bella, technically, 6% of that up charge was to pay sales tax which isn't charged when given the original price at the register, if I didn't mention this, people may think you up charge 8.75% on top of the sales tax... you see how a lack of disclosure could be deceptive???) Disclose your credit card charges of 2.75% to your local patrons and everyone would probably feel more fairly treated. Cheesesteak - (Beef) - Bland and bread was nothing special. Fried onions were cooked well. 6.3/10. Support local , try the place out for yourself, lady at the counter was very nice and friendly. Food wasn't terrible but when a customer feels deceived, it's hard to go back. Hopefully they will learn to support their locals by being more upfront about the credit card fees. read more

We are new to the area and have ordered take out twice. Each time was perfectly fine: we got what we ordered, the food was ready on time, and staff were courteous. The real standout dish for me is the Eggplant Florentine appetizer. I have had variations on this dish at other restaurants, but Bella Napoli makes it the BEST! Just found out this Pizzeria and gave it a try tonight. My sons love the basic cheese pizza. We also ordered another taco pizza. We like it's flavor. A lot of vegetable. Really refreshing. However, the owner or the chef might want to further improve Taco pizza's recipe because that all the fresh vegetable brought tremendous amount of water. The integrity of the pizza was compromised by all the moist even though we did enjoy its taste. In addition, we ordered 10 mild wings. Real good food, fast delivery and resolves issues quickly. What more can I say. I received an email from my Credit Card Company questioning a large tip. ($10 against a $10.75 Bill) since I am usually generous with my tips, I am not quite that generous.
