This restaurant is amazing. Excellent ambience, service and hands down best Italian dinner I ever had (and I eat out a LOT). I had the Lump Crab appetizer over arugula appetizer special, and it was very fresh crab over a salad with a thick lemon flavored dressing, perfect pairing. The menu make selecting an entree very difficult, but I narrowed it down to three and the waiter recommended Peace Francese. The fetch was so big it went from edge to edge of the plate, and you could not even see the pasta underneath it and had lots of crab meat all over the top they just all melted in your mouth. The service is attentive and efficient, which makes the whole experience even better. It's BYOB, but they also have a bar, and there's no corkage fee, which is a huge plus. I loved this restaurant. It's tucked away and has both that farmhouse feel as well as strong ties to the community. The walls are adored with art that connects to both Longwood Gardens and the Brandywine Art Museum. The food was incredible and reasonably priced. The food there is very delicious and very authentic. The atmosphere is always busy and lively. It's not just a BYOB anymore although you can still bring your own bottle of wine. Everything about this place is top quality with plenty of parking and it's right off of route 322 and route 1 so it's easy to get to. Wow. The food here was amazing. The restaurant was packed. We had made a reservation for 9. Our table was waiting when we arrived. This is not a huge restaurant but they seem to have the tables set up so that they can fit a lot of people in and it feels cozy not cramped. I had read reviews that said this was BYOB so had stopped for wine on the way. However, they now have a full bar with wine so you don't need to bring alcohol. The good news is that you can still bring in your own beer and wine! This helps to cut down on your bill. Entrees here are pricey but worth it. Our server made some recommendations. They also had some specials for the night. I honestly don't think you can go wrong with anything you order from here. Everyone loved their food. Dessert looked great but we were all pretty stuffed. My partner and I went here without a reservation around 7:15 on a Thursday and were seated right away even with a small crowd. We ordered the short rib egg rolls which were delicious and filling. I ordered the pappardelle veal and my partner ordered the sweet potato cavatelli. We both felt like this was the best meal we have had in a restaurant in quite some time. Because I have been to the Il Granaio in Phoenixville, I wanted to try this one. It is much larger than the other one. The inside is huge and nearly every table was occupied. My table was towards the back of the restaurant. Citalally was a great server. She was helpful with her suggestions and allowed me and my guest to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace. I had the Caesar Salad and the Veal & Shrimp Vellutata (two veal medallions, three jump shrimp, shallots, caramelized lemon, asparagus, white wine cream sauce over linguine). We have been to their sister restaurants, Antica and Lasponda, but I can say this was our favorite. We had reservations on a Sunday evening to celebrate my mother's birthday. We had a reservation for 5 adults and one infant high chair. Our table was set for 4 adults so they promptly moved us without a fuss. Our server Matt was so great. We ordered the clams and short rib eggs rolls as apps along with margaritas. Everything was delicious. Our meals included chicken parm, gamberi fra Diablo (spicy shrimp) and braised short rib. Everyone loved their orders. Shrimp were huge and delicious, chicken park portion was also massive and yummy. They sang to my mom with her favorite lemon cake and we also got the cannoli and chocolate mousse for the table. I went for dinner, I was surprised how big it was inside. The hostess was nice. Some pleasant person came over was very nice. We ordered some drinks couple of appetizers, Everything was going good. We ordered dinner. When are dinner was ready it was nice and hot.To my surprise the meatballs were stuffed with spinach and cheese they were delicious and so delicious! Pasta was delicious I asked for extra sauce and it came out perfect! My salad was delicious, My husband had chicken parmigiana and salad he really enjoyed his dinner. The help was great. We both enjoyed our dinner. To full for dessert. So full that dessert was not even thought about! Next time we will order it. I will be back. Prices were normal not over or under priced. 15 minute wait for my reservation and received no apology. Never received second round of bread, and had to ask for a clean napkin multiple times before receiving one. They have too many tables in the dining area, you sit on top of other people. Strong suit is the food, specifically pastas. The mussels and sausage had low quality mussels, and the sausage was too ground. The calamari wasn't great. Gnocchi and pastas were great though, the and I love a BYOB.
