Update: my dad went in after, and the owner refused to admit he was wrong and he asked my dad what he wanted him to do, my dad said you could charge her for the 7 and not the 12 and he said he wasn't going to do that.... my dad also told him we won't be back and his response was "we're sorry to hear that" no customer service at all I've ordered from Bella's a lot, many times over the years and I will never again..... I ordered 12 boneless buffalo chicken tenders, and paid 5 dollars more from the 7 and it was literally 6 or 7 full tenders cut in half.. and I have ordered them before with 12 full pieces.... I called back and said "I just ordered from you and I've gotten this before but this time there are about 6 tenders cut in half for a 12 order" .....he honestly didn't say anything for about 15 seconds and then said "well you know sometimes they're big and we have to cut them" I just said thanks and hung up .... what an excuse! I'm surprised to see the negative reviews. My family loves Bella's Pizza. The place has always been amazing. We often have our order delivered, and it always comes sooner than the time they provide; the food is always hot and delicious. My husband and I are originally from NY and nothing really compared to the pizza back home but Bella's comes pretty darn close. We've also had the grinders, wings, salad, and have never been disappointed. read more

We moved to our new home in South Windsor about a year ago, and although we love it, it came with a terrifying realization!! All of our goto delivery options were now out of our range. Needless to say correcting this situation was a priority. Enter Bella Pizza, I actually tried them because of the Yelp reviews (Meta) and am pleased to say that we have a winner. The food is top quality and the delivery is super fast. So far I've tried the pizza and two different grinders and there all great. This review is based on the chicken parm grinder I have ordered twice. I placed a pick up order over the phone, grinder was prepared within 15 min and I was very pleased. 12' grinder for 5.95 and they do not skimp out. Bread was really good, not to dense and lightly toasted. Oozing with cheese, peppers, onions and pieces of chicken parm. So ordered a pizza like I have for over 7 years and a delivery girl who works there did me wrong and when my daughter ordered for delivery I got the 40 minutes. That's fine but when 2.45 hours later I didn't have my pizza, also called 2xs, I received my pizza nearly 3 hours later. The owners had no idea what happened except to say my order got lost. Needless to say I go to Alexias now. There pizza is filling and delicious. No delivery but you get it in the time frame and yummy!!! read more

I have ordered from this restaurant for a while and I have always been pleased with the quality of food. Tonight however, i am so upset with this restaurant and how they handled the fact that whoever was taking orders took it upon themselves to fill in the tip and total portion of my credit card reciept. I was informed by the owner that i had requested this be done which is a load of hogwash. the owner totally and completely brushed away my concern like it was nothing. I told him that I would never order from them again and his response was that they would never fill an order for me again. I've been a local resident my whole life and can say that Bella is the best pizza in South Windsor, their crust is my favorite NY style and the gourmet pizzas are really good. The wings and grinders are also very good. The quality of the food is always consistent, the brothers that run the place really know what they are doing and are very polite. The best part is the value, they are not over priced like some other places and have good coupons. Overall I'd say a great place to eat! One of the best thin pizza places around South Windsor area. I do not know the words to describe how delicious their pizza and grinders are. They make the worlds best eggplant grinder that you could ever imagine and it's cheaper than Subway. I will say however, I called 45 min later to check in my delivery and the people I spoke to are not very customer friendly.
