This isn't even close to what I ordered, and what did get delivered was absolute trash. The pepperoni pizza is so greasy it's puddled on the top and soaked through the box. Visiting friends and they went and picked up Greeks Pizza. So this review is based only on that one experience, and our friends when they brought it home added a few more toppings and re-baked for 10 minutes or so to incorporate the additional ingredients. All that said, it was obvious that the base or the Greeks pizza with pepperoni, mushroom and onion was excellent. Crisp crust, very generous amounts of toppings, good level of sauce and cheese. I finally visited this Greek's location after living near Geist for over a year. Two weekends in a row, in fact. It's that good. I was very surprised to see a three star rating on here, hopefully I can help boost it up. The pizza tastes great, the orders were accurate and it did not take too long. My wife and I were hungry for a pizza. We decided on Greek's. There are 3 or 4 top tier pizzeria joints in my area. Greek's is one of them. We ordered a large pepperoni and breadsticks for pick up. When you enter through the front door it's like a blast from the past. An old school pizza joint with a New York style. Plaid tablecloths on every table made me think about a place I used to frequent back in my hometown. Nothing fancy just damn good pizza. We took our food home and cracked it open. The breadsticks hot and buttery. The pizza was awesome! A soft crust, a red sauce that might be number one in our district. The red sauce was flavorful with a hint of sweetness. Plenty of tasty pepperoni and cheese. Just perfect. Greek's we will see you again soon! read more

So close to our house we had to try it when we moved to the area. It did not disappoint! The pizzas are very good and we love the breadsticks. Staff friendly, we always get our pizza on time. My only negative is that they don't open for lunch any more; not until 3:30. There have been several Times we have had family over at lunchtime and wanted to treat them to Greeks pizzeria but were unable to because they weren't open until 330, way past lunch. I always try different combinations and have had their specialty pizzas. Greeks is one of my go to pizza places if I have guests at my house and we just want something easy. This location of Greek's Pizzeria, a chain of independently owned, "local" restaurants with about 18 locations statewide, is located in a small strip center on Fox Road in the Geist area on Indy's Northeastside. I have to be honest with you. That's about as specific as I can get. I'm not really sure I could find this place again, not because it's hard to find but because as I was driving around I made a wrong turn and got completely lost. I was lost. I was hungry. "Oh look, there's a Greek's Pizzeria! Let's try it." So, I did. Unlike many who seem to try it, I'm not overly familiar with the chain. I'd tried the Broad Ripple location before it closed and I'd tried Muncie, but that's about it. There's a new one that has opened up near my home, but since I was lost anyway I decided to try this one first. I did eventually find my way home. This is a pretty small location that does offer dine-in, take-out and free delivery in a limited area. The dine-in area consists of a one-room open concept with a few wooden booths and some tables and the familiar red/black Greek's colors. There were two televisions on the wall - I say "wall," because both televisions were on the same wall. I arrived at about 2-2:30pm, an odd time that likely explained why I arrived to an empty dining room. I chose a 4-top near the cash register. The room is pretty wheelchair friendly. The single glass door opening was light, though the server was also friendly and helpful. Greek's offers daily lunch specials and additional daily specials; it seemed like they offered diverse enough options that someone single could easily find a decent option. I opted for a pasta dish - $6.99 for pasta with meatballs, marinara and sticks. I also ordered an iced tea, though was disappointed that they only offer sweet tea. My entire meal came in at just under $9, though if you opted for appetizers or one of their beer/wine options you could easily see a higher bill. However, I always appreciate when restaurants have menu options at varying price points. They also offer pizza (Duh!), sandwiches, shells, appetizers, etc. My server was super friendly and helpful - I got the sense that's how she always is, though it was likely easier given I was the only customer with the exception of a couple carry-out orders that showed up. I will admit that I hesitated with the pasta - there's not much worse than a spastic paraplegic fooling around with a fork trying to twirl spaghetti, get it in the mouth and not look like a 2-year-old gorging on a birthday cake. Yeah, it can get ugly (Admit it. You're not only picturing it, but you're hoping you never see me at an Italian-themed Elite event). My impression of the meal was that it very much looked like a "sale" dish. It was a decent, lunch-sized serving for the price, but the serving size screamed out "daily special." The pasta was good, though I do think you're stretching to say it comes with meatballs when you get exactly two meatballs. The two breadsticks, or mini-sticks, were tasty. I actually really loved the marinara - it was the one part of the meal that felt rather generous. I did get my always desired iced tea refill. That's a plus. I enjoyed this meal, but it wasn't the kind of meal that would cause me to try to pull up Mapquest so that I could actually find it without getting lost. The food was good, though certainly not the best pasta I've ever had. Truthfully, I never contemplated anything but a 3-star rating. The difference between 3-4 for me is that a 4 usually means I'm going to be making plans to go back, while a 3 is an above average meal that met my expectations but didn't blow me away. The service? A 4. The food? A 3. The atmosphere? Probably a 3 (though they almost got a bonus point for the Ms. Pac Man machine in the corner!). For now, it's a 3-star experience with the possibility it may improve if/when I get lost in Geist again and try the pizza. read more

Got a great deals magazine in my mailbox and it's great deals of Muncie in Delaware County, there is a Greeks Pizzeria section on page 31 and there is a coupon for a 1999 any large pizza and breadsticks oh, just called to Greeks Pizzeria in the village to order this, and they said they would only honor that coupon at the McGalliard location! Absolutely ridiculous that a business will put a coupon in their book when they have multiple locations in a city and only honor that coupon at one location. I just lost my pizza business, and we eat at Pizza King at a minimum of once a week. They honor their coupons at every Pizza King location. read more

I am basing my review on tonight's visit. Like the others, I visited a while back when they first opened to pick up 2 orders of breadsticks and had to wait quite a while among what looked like a chaotic operation. However, tonight was different. My husband came in around 5 PM (Saturday) and decided to dine in. Seating is open so we picked a booth on the side, somewhat away from the door to avoid the draft from the door. We were greeted quickly, and our (very young) server was cheerful and helpful. I really appreciated her! If this is her first gig, she'll be successful wherever she ends up! On to the food. We ordered breadsticks with cheese to start. These are without a doubt my favorite breadsticks in Indy (out of town is another story)!!! The nacho cheese is actually spicy which I appreciate since a lot of places seem to call any cheese sauce "nacho" when it really isn't. The garlic butter on the soft, apparently handmade, sticks is wonderful if you're a garlic lover like me! It didn't take them too long to arrive. My husband and I each ordered a small pizza. It took about 20 minutes or so (I didn't time it) to get the pizza, but that's what happens when you have to wait for a pizza to bake. The crust is awesome! Very similar to the breadsticks, and I happen to love fluffy crusts! I always use the end part for more nacho cheese. However, the toppings were less than impressive. The roma tomatoes on mine had almost disintegrated. The jalapenos were obviously pickled and came from a jar, which is normally fine since a lot of places do that, but it seemed these somehow avoided even appearing cooked, and there was zero kick to them. It was strange. The tomato sauce also tasted very generic. My husband said the cheese on his seemed different from the cheese at the store in Fishers. It wasn't stringing from the dish to the plate so I think he found the consistency unusual. I thought it was fine. They have a selection of some local drafts as well as bottled beers. They only have 3 kinds of wine, and at this point, they should maybe just do beer. I had a glass of a random chardonnay they had, and there wasn't much to it. I should have known better - pizza & beer is a better combo. As we dined, the place quickly became incredibly busy (again - Saturday night), and I saw at least one person standing around for what seemed like forever for her order. It could be that she came in right after calling or ordered at the counter. I'm not entirely sure. However, our fantastic server that I mentioned earlier, kept following up with us and got us our check in a timely manner. All in all, a decent experience, but to be completely honest, I think the toppings at Papa John's taste a LOT fresher, and that's saying something. I will at least be back for the breadsticks. read more

I ordered a chicken club sandwich for take-out lunch. I was confused when they brought it out to me in a closed child's sized pizza box. The sandwich itself was approximately the size of a microwave hot pocket and the chicken "meat" was spongy; worse than fast food. The chips were broken up to bits. Even the limp pickle spear looked depressing. I'm still hungry and I am out nine bucks. ($7+$2 tip) What a disappointment. Maybe I'll come up with a reason to run to the BP station accross the road to eat a better sandwich. read more

This location has been nothing but disappointing. I have eaten Greeks pizza for YEARS... In Valpo, Zionsville, Fisher's etc. My family had pizza nearly every Sunday night as a tradition. I have always been impressed with their quality and treatment of customers, until now. I have had three very bad experiences. I firmly believe, after working in the industry and managing a pizza restaurant myself, that you can have an off night. I will give a second and third chance. Third strike happened today. Strike one - I called 6 times during business hours and no one answered. I called the Fishers location to confirm they were open. I actually was concerned for their safety. Again, I have managed a restaurant, not answering during normal business hours is concerning. The Fishers location was at a loss and said "unfortunately, you'll have to keep trying." I gave up. Strike two - we were headed out to a concert and on a time limit - it was a Thursday night. We ordered early in the evening. After over two hours of waiting, they forgot my pizza. I have a gluten allergy and can't eat the regular pizza. We called and the manager didn't even take the time to talk to my husband and apologize. They arrived 30 additional minutes later with my very cold pizza and a $10 coupon. No apologies, nothing. Strike three - I am home sick with a sick kid. I called to order at 7:00 and was asked "will this be free delivery or pick up?" - not an improper question... However, when I said I would like delivery the young man on the phone completely changed his attitude and said "Look, I am gonna be honest, if you want us to bring it that is going to be forty-five minutes to an hour. If you'd just come get it yourself you can eat in 15 minutes." Needless to say I said "Well, since I am home sick I was hoping for delivery. I wasn't planning to leave my house. No thanks." Then I promptly hung up. Seriously, this store needs some in depth training on customer service. Very disappointing experiences and I really wish I could have developed a better relationship with them. Unfortunately, the Snappy Tomato Pizza that I loved went out of business. We were the kind of customers that the manager personally delivered to... He arrived at my home several times and thanked us for our business. I don't expect that level of customer appreciation but for the love of all things, please at least act like you want my money. Unreal. Go to the Fishers location if you want Greeks Pizza - it's delicious and they treat you like you matter. read more

This place is pretty good. There are a lot of negative reviews, but the majority seem to be older, when it was under previous management or ownership. Those reviews aren't consistent with my experience at all. Is the pizza great? No, but it's pretty good. I really do like it. You can tell they put some thought into their crust, sauce and cheese blend, which is nice. It's definitely better than any big national chain pizza, especially the one located in the strip mall just behind them. While the pizza may not be transcendent (again, it's still good), their breadsticks are the truth. Buttery with a slight crisp on the outside, warm and fluffy on the inside, and just the right amount of garlic flavor. My only complaint is that the cheese or marinara cup you get with your order isn't quite enough. And truthfully, for most people it's probably fine. I'm happy to order an extra. I called in my order and picked it up. I was quoted 20 minutes on the phone. I got there pretty much exactly 20 minutes later, and my order was ready when I walked in. Everything was hot and fresh when I got home, 10 minutes later. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone and the lady who waited on me when I picked up were both super friendly and efficient. I hope others who have had positive experiences here recently will also chime in. I hate to see a local, family owned business having to deal with poor reviews that they had no control over. I wanted to like this pizza, but I just didnt. The crust was decent and seemed fresh, but the sauce is way to sweet and tomatoey. Badly needs balanced with salt, pepper and garlic. And the rest of the topping were just bland. So, all you taste is the overpowering sauce. I had the house special, which includes blk olives, meatballs and feta cheese. That should make for a pizza with some strong flavors. Nope couldnt even taste a hint of the toppings, just bland. All I could get was that sweet sauce that just tastes like canned tomato sauce. I would have a real hard time picking this out against a frozen pizza. Puccini's has been the only decent pizza I've found so far in this area. read more

Went back after the below review and things were better. The franchisee came out personally to our table to apologize for our previous bad experience, they comped our order, and this time we got everything we asked for. So I'm upgrading my rating and will go back again. We've ordered delivery or pick up on three occasions and each time they've gotten the order wrong. We like to support local businesses/ chains and this one is close to home. But ordering on the phone is always chaotic and we never get what we ask for, with the exact ingredients described in the menu online. Everytime we call back to explain the problem in hopes that management will improve its system to reduce errors, but it never seems to change. The manager always gives us credit for the next time, which is nice, but I really wish they'd just fix the problems. Whatever we end up getting is usually tasty, at least. read more

Dear Mr. Greek's Franchise Owner Greek's Pizza in Geist on Fox? Hygiene and Customer Service Epic Fail - my next call will be to the local Food Inspection office. Sunday 6:30 p.m. 12/6 - I noticed that there were a lot of very young folks behind the counter who really didn't seem to know what was going on or know the first thing about customer service, there was no apparent management\leadership - and that was evident by the customers before me. There was not one correct order the 30 minutes I was standing there and a lot of angry people who I am sure will never return(pick up schedules mean nothing at this location). Three young ladies (workers) with long hair kept flipping their loose hair in the food prep area (non stop), the gal making up the to go salads and pasta orders constantly ran her hand through her loose hair, frequently rubbed her nose (again - non stop) and then picked up bread sticks with that same ungloved hand and put the order together - ick. The round pizza grates they cook the pizza on fell to the floor - no cleaning, they just put them right back on the shelf to use again. Then some gal vacuumed the same spot where they fell and were making food - if it was dirty enough to vacuum during the food prep - maybe washing the ones that fell to the floor would be a hot tip - ick. The employee who came out of the restroom and was still zipping up his pants - tell me, do you in the food prep industry wash your hands before you zip or after? Again - ick. A stack of cups fell and a worker kept brushing stuff off of them but put them right back on the shelf for use - really?. A non stop line of angry customers, not a single order correct, no customer service or leadership skill set what so ever - mmmm, shocker. If there was a manger there - they must have had him locked up in the back. I had been told that I could pick up my pizza in 25 minutes - I got to the newly opened location on time and had to wait almost half an hour, ask my name for the 5th time and then pull my pizza out from under the counter - it was there the entire 30 minutes I was there. Are you doing the math on how cold my Pizza was? It was incredibly frustrating and I let them know this. They seemed genuinely shocked that their hygiene in food prep and no knowledge or experience in opening a new location and the customer service it takes - great product - but shut down that Geist location before you give the rest of the Greek's Pizza a bad name. read more

Really great pizza! Their garlicy, buttery, soft bread sticks are the stuff of dreams. The wait time (carry out), at least for this location, is typically CRAAAAAZY. On a few occations we've had to call elsewhere. I'm glad they are popular at this spot, but the insame wait docks them a star. read more

It was a 2 star visit but they get an extra star because it was opening weekend. The crowd was crazy but my wife wanted to go there so we tried it anyway. We found a seat pretty fast because a lot of the people there were getting carry out. We went 10-15 minutes without anyone taking our order, when the manager finally saw me waving my hand at every server that walked past he came over. He asked if anyone had taken our drink order and I said no, he then let me know that I should have gotten a waitresses attention (that statement pissed me off, what was I doing for the last 15 minutes). We ordered 2 salads, breadsticks, and one pizza. At that time we were notified that the pizza would take 45 minutes and we are ok with that. We got the salad and breadsticks pretty fast and both were good. At the 45 minute mark we told them to make the pizza Togo because we were running out of time. We finally got the pizza after 1 hour and 15 minutes, and the manager comped our pizza because of the long wait. When we got home we found the pizza was over cooked and burnt on the bottom in some places. I will not be going back because there are to many good pizza places around. read more

I totally disagree with any review that puts this pizza down. I tried the Greeks in broad ripple and wasn't really impressed, almost didn't try this one but gave in and was so glad I did. Best pizza ever. Good quantity of toppings and always has coupons in mailers or online. If you haven't tried it, you don't know what you're missing.
