Casual restaurant with expected but interesting décor. The menu was diverse with so many options! I ordered the Bella Sera chicken and felt it lacked a little something but it was decent. My friend ordered the Chicken Calabrense. He said it was tasty but not exceptional. Both dishes were served over thin spaghetti which was delightful! The service was good. The prices were extremely high for the overall experience. Had a wonderful experience at Bella Serra recently. I was a little pushy, ok probably a lot pushy, but it worked out and the end. I asked about non meat dishes and the chef helped lead me to a super yummy dish of egg plant parm and a side of pasta. I wish this was standard. I'd love to see some grilled veggies as an option and a pasta with veggies however in the meantime the egg plant is yummy. My SO had the pasta sampler. I'd still like to see the plating a little more inviting. I just say though that the pasta sauce is really good and the taste deep and yummy. read more

It's garlic, basil olive oil and some lemon juice. Very tasty on the salad with diced lettuce, tomato and mozzarella cheese. Yumm! We bought had the chicken piccata and it was perfect. Chicken was succulent and the sauce was full of capers with great flavor. Highly recommend this place for dinner. read more

I order chicken Marsala and there was no sweet creamy wine sauce and also order Chicken a/ artichokes in a lemon butter sauce- not good either. Cutest restaurant with plenty of seating without feeling you are right up against the next table. Extremely friendly and efficient staff. Easy to understand menu with plenty of choices for even the pickiest eaters. And the food was phenomenal! I had the chicken parm with a side of spaghetti. Hubby and I tried this place on New Year's Eve, as we wanted pizza the last day of 2024. I saw it had decent reviews and decided to try it. I can honestly say it did not disappoint us. We got the Meat Lovers and Chicken Alfredo pizzas. Hubby liked the Meat Lovers and I LOVED the Chicken Alfredo! We wanted leftovers to take home so we got the 16" for each. New Years day we heated them up and they were still great the second time around. The service was good and needless to say we will be back. I want to try a pasta dish next time. The garlic knots we had were so soft and hot, I could've had them for my meal with the marinara sauce. The place was still decorated for Christmas, which did not bother me, but I think the normal decor could use a refresher. The staff was wonderful, I definitely do recommend it! read more

We wanted to try a couple things so we split the lasagna and ordered the Bella Sera pizza. Everything was delish, nice crisp on the crust of the pizza and the toppings were so fresh and aromatic. The lasagna layers were so flavorful! You do get garlic bread knots when you are seated and they were so soft, warm and buttery. They had a combination of booths, small tables and larger tables that could accommodate larger groups. They have 2 large TV's on each side of the room. We also sampled the $9.99 Lunch Specials. Not bad for a restaurant founded in a rural, low population area but I would expect more (including of service) if I'm being seated. Whether they survive during the maturing of the region -- and as more experienced competitors arrive -- is up to them. I'd love to see them do better! All around nice folks at both locations. Food: Very standard. Well prepared, ie nothing was burnt nor undercooked. Appears and tastes assembled from pre-made grocery store products. Nothing was wrong, but nothing was compelling either. Service: In a near empty restaurant, the waitress tried sticking us at the table closest to the bathroom. While still continuing our meal, she tried sticking us with the bill before asking if there's anything else she could provide. The wife and I ordered two different dishes. Chicken Marsala @ $20.89 & Chicken Piccata @ $20.89. My Chicken Marsala was nothing like a Marsala sauce. It tasted like chicken broth with a few spices thrown in. No sherry wine, no cream and over all taste like boiled chicken with mushrooms over spaghetti. The Garlic knots had no flavor, buttery but no flavor such as garlic. Maybe a bad night? I don't know, but for a $50 + take out meal, I'm not willing to chance it again. read more

My husband and I went here tonight for the first time. We sat at the bar (our choice). The owner was our server. He went out of his way to explain the menu and give us recommendations . This has been our special place because of the food. The service has been ok. Tonight the server had such a poor attitude. We don't mind waiting for drinks or food , but don't slam the drinks on the table and act like I'm imposing on you by asking if I can have some water after I've been seated for over 15minutes. I'm pretty patient. We ordered our food and drinks together and I usually anticipate a wait for food when a place is busy but he acted angry and imposed upon. I would have left after the first nasty look and slamming of our drinks, but my husband wanted to give it a chance. We also had to ask and wait longer for rolls and our salad. We were in the restaurant for more than 1.5 hours. Won't be back as the server spoiled the whole experience. We drive 30 minutes to get to this place. We will now take our dollars elsewhere.
