I was in Beaverton and ordered lunch for me and my coworkers. The pizza and salad were really good!!

14'' Large Butcher Block Pizza plus mushrooms (hardly visible)

Second trip recently for takeout to satisfy the pizza craving. Each time the pizza has been consistent, good crust, good sauce and toppings. The one star deduction is for a lack of added topping. I ordered a butcher block twice and added mushrooms and each time I was underwhelmed by amount 1.75 buys you in mushrooms. First time I thought they may have missed the addition, this time I took pictures. You be the judge. Shouldn't each slice have at least one mushroom slice on it?

We've always loved bellagios and especially since they've been offering dairy free cheese. Their breadsticks are suffering from shrinkflation though and it feels like we're getting ripped off. Come on guys, fix this please!

    Worker making pizza without gloves
    Jonathan Y.

First time trying bellagios. The employee answering the phone could use some tips on being more friendly. Noticed some employees there making pizza without gloves. Only less than half the employees were wearing gloves. The inside is pretty small and there doesn't seem to be any attempts in enforcing any policies neither signage or from the workers. Doesn't have any dine-in at the moment. The pizzas were pretty good, but alittle undercooked. Had to toss it into the oven alittle bit to get it right then it was ideal. Probably won't be coming here again.

Pizza in our area is just pathetic and sad. Mostly a frozen or a quick homemade pizza at home is faster, cheaper, and often better. Sometimes though a new movie to watch ( hello Black Panther) calls for pickup or delivery, so you don't spend your precious movie time dicing veggies. We gave Bellagio's a call. The dude said 45 to 60 minutes for pickup. Heaven only knows how long delivery would be. We went for pickup. I asked for a medium BBQ chicken. Pizza comes in small, large, and extra large. No medium. I totally forgot about that. Is that not weird tho'? Like ...why? Is it so you feel ok paying large prices for a medium pizza? We were there at the 45 minute mark. It was not ready. This did not surprise me. After 20 more minutes my chauffeur returned to the counter only to find our pizza cooling it's slices in a box on the counter. No one called them over sayin' , " hey your pizza is ready!" while clearly it had been asked for and then waited for. Nope.Nada. Zilch. Zip All this can be yours for $20+. The pizza was okay.Lukewarm. Not awesome. Passable. Not very cheesey. 15 years ago we used to get Bellagio's in Sellwood. That was better. I think they don't care anymore. Captive audience means not so much effort is needed. My chauffeur says they do not have enough staff. Regardless I remembered too late that Mod pizza is not that far away. I think Bellagio's should remember that too.

I used to come here pretty often for pizza. I found a piece of plastic under the toppings of my slice of pizza. Luckily I found it before taking a bite into my slice of pizza.

    Large combo take out.

Brett and his team make phenomenal pizza, salads and sides and the pizza truck adds so much to the occasion. All our guests raved about the quality of the food and the service was on-point. Today, on our anniversary, we had the puttanesca pizza and it was absolutely fantastic. We also tried the seasonal peach and blackberry tiramisu, which was nothing short of divine. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking quality wood-fired pizza loaded with flavor. Whether catered with an unforgettable set-up or grabbing a bite in the restaurant, it's the real deal, and it surely wont dissapoint.

tl;dr? "Best pizza I've had on the west coast; pizzaiolo needs some social skills work"…read more It's Friday night date night! Wife N and I watch cooking competitions (mostly for at-home recipe ideas because we love to cook!) and happened upon a few episodes of pizza-making and decided we both really had a hankering for "real pizza" for Date Night this week. Both Yelp-surfing, and on the recommendation of a friend, we decided to trek the 45 minutes out from Forest Grove (past no fewer than 30 pizza joints) to Maiale Rosa smack-dab in the middle of downtown Beaverton. Arrived around 6:00, ordered at the counter, and found a table. There were a few other patrons (plus those who came to pick up orders) but there were a couple available tables and an entire strip of bar seating, directly in front of the glass where you can watch the action. I'm a mushroom lover so the "I Funghi" immediately caught my eye and I ran with it, adding the offered prosciutto. She ordered a build-your-own with marinara, prosciutto, fontina and mozzarella cheeses and arugula. The pizzas arrived after a (pretty short) wait, probably under 10 minutes, felt quite fast. First bite: holy cowabungas! This was a forest floor mushroom extravaganza, with enough garlic and truffle oil that I caught myself uttering "whoa!". Prosciutto added after the bake (thank you! I hate chewy crispy fired prosciutto!) so it provided this lovely fattiness to each bite. Fabulous in every way. Found no flaws in Wife N's pizza and neither could she. Again, arugula added after the bake (because hot wilted arugula sucks) keeping it vibrant and fresh to the table. Crust: fabulous. Crispy and perfectly chewy all at the same time. Very hard to find one this well-made. Pizza size: these are all hand-made so obviously not quite perfectly round but it would be safe to say each was somewhere in an oblong 10" to 12" range. I would advise one pizza per heavy eater, unless you're two light eaters then one could suffice. We took half of each pizza home and those leftovers fed me the next day. Pizza: 5*'s. If you're just picking it up to eat at the food court nearby, or focused ONLY on the quality and taste, then this is the best pizza you'll find around. Pizzaiolo: 3*s. It's pretty obvious the chef-owner is an expert at pizzamaking, recipes, flavors. His product is masterful. What he has, however, is an obvious and penetratingly-palpable disdain for any kind of customer interactions or small talk. He's behind clear glass, at a seating bar. This invitingly conveys to his patrons: "Say 'hi' and chat with the chef." It's pretty clear that isn't his intent. Drywall separating us would have been a better pick. This is a man best left alone to make pizzas and scoff at his employees without customers having to experience this negativity. Pizza with a scowl. As we got up to leave I gave it one more shot, and honestly complimented him on his pizza---it's objectively the best I've had outside New York and I've never even been to Naples but if this represents their pizza, I'd probably like eating there too. His reply, which arrived mostly as he turned and walked away, was "great, put it in your Google review." Some diners are just there for the pizza. Others are just there to pick up a to-go. But there are some of us that plan, with anticipation, our experience eating at a new-to-us place. For us, it's more than about the food: it's about the entire experience of having eaten there. It's about chatting with the chef. It's about pursuing fine food. And it's about sharing at least a cursory relationship centered around your mutual love for their food creation. We'll very likely have their pizzas again (and it will be very tough for me to force myself to try something other than another I Funghi!). But next time, we'll probably just eat and go, because the clear message we received is "this isn't a happy place to hang out." And it's a shame, because those two pizzas were the better part of $60. For that, you'd think it could some with at least an attempt at a smile and friendliness from the guy that owns the place.

We were in Portland visiting my cousin for the weekend and we wanted to grab a quick light dinner…read moresince we had a super heavy lunch around 3pm. My cousin mentioned this place and we were hesitant to try it. He said they had great reviews and was in New York Times, but we were still hesitant to try it because we didn't care much for Pizza- nor were we craving it. It was me, my 15-year-old daughter, my brother, my sister in-law and my cousin. We were greeted but the most friendliest staff I've ever encountered IN MY LIFE. You order and pay at the counter and find a seat. They have an area where you can get your own waters as well. We ordered the Pho Pizza, Banh Mi Pizza, and the Chicken Satay Pizza. I wanted to order the Pandamn ice cream but they ran out as well as their tiramisu desserts. In my head I wanted to take away 1 star but then I tried the pizza. Pho - 10/10 First bite and I could NOT stop smiling. It was SOOO good! This was the groups favorite. My brother doesn't even like sprouts but it worked very well with the pizza. It was like eating pho but on bread. OMG my mouth is salivating just thinking about it and I can't even get it now because I'm in the Bay Area. Banh Mi - 100/10 This was my personal favorite. It was basically like an open Banh Mi with a hint of pizza. The flavors were amazing and I loved the pickled daikon and carrots on top! I'm not sure if refreshing would be the right world, but I know amazing would be another way I would describe this. I live in San Jose and I go to San Francisco often so I'm actually pretty disappointed in the Bay Area for not having anything like this. Satay Pizza - 9/10 To be honest, we were already getting full but because it tasted so good, we finished this one too. The sauce was a creamy curry sauce (I think with a hint of coconut) and had some peanuts sprinkled on top which gave it more flavor and a nice texture. Lastly, the pizza crust tasted AMAZING. It had a slight crisp to it but it was fluffy in the inside, kind of like Mochi bread. We literally left no crumbs! 1000/10 would recommend this place!

Because the food was so damn good. Look - I'm going to start off by saying I grew up practically on The Hill. Out here, you'll have to Google it (make sure to add 'RI' to the search or you'll get some political BS), but back east, "alls you's have ta say" was those two words and anyone would know you knew your Italian, food and otherwise. There isn't anything on this coast that vaguely compares to The Hill's food, but walking into and biting out of Geraldi's was having a little piece of home. There's this little shop in the old town where the owner knew your voice when you called to order... you'd walk in, and you heard "hey cousin!" whether you were or not, and that's the vibe you get from Geraldi's. The food is much the same - you get something that looks like Nonna was at the range all day with her sauce (it's not gravy - no meat) and you came home looking like you haven't eaten in weeks: "I'm gonna fatten you up before you leave" and you walked out the door with a sub (sandwich, that is - not a submarine) that weighed the same as a newborn. We got three of those babies: a Chicago Beef (seal of approval from the orderer - only 'complaint' was that they had to eat it all in one day because the bread was quote too soggy to make it to lunch the next day - travesty), an Italian sausage (just as delicious when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and a Chicken Parmeroni (I thought somehow even better when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and I could have absolutely gone back the next day if it weren't for A. the leftovers 2/3 of us had and B. the meal planning we'd done for the week. I also grabbed a side of giardiniera because I will get it anytime I see it available and I inhaled it - I need to know if I can by it by the vat instead of the side cups because it too was similar to what I can find at home (about practically nowhere out here) and amazing!! I'm still upset I didn't take pictures though!

Also, the attendant said he couldn't check our 76 gas gift certificate unless we bought something (which I think is stupid and a lie). That's beside the point and I'll save my 1-star review for the gas station. Anyhow - it was a beautiful day to wait for good smelling pizza.
