Had a great experience with Sophia getting clip in extensions. Would highly recommend!

I'm still traumatized from my experience here, and after seeing other reviews about the manager of this location I felt I should share my experience at this salon on Yelp as well as google. Considering I dealt with her some time ago and people are still leaving reviews for Sophia, Bellami needs to assess her employment here. Left the store crying after how I was treated. I emailed them months prior to book my appointment here for a color match and clip in installation because I'd be in town for Bridal Fashion Week. Went back and forth to figure out a time, and then I thought it was set. Maybe it should have raised a red flag that I didn't hear from them again but I assumed (wrongly) I was taken care of. When I came to my appointment this morning I don't even have words for the way I was treated. I am a manager of an appointment based retail shop and I would never think to treat a customer the way I was treated, even if they mixed up their appointment time (which I didn't, I have all the emails saying when my appointment was meant to be). I was essentially told even though it was entirely their mistake they'd be doing nothing to accommodate me. The girl at the front desk dealing with it was obscenely unprofessional. I had to walk back and forth with her while she tried to figure out the computers. I showed her the emails and she basically said I was wrong for thinking I had an appointment. I told her this was their mistake and she agreed, then said I could still buy extensions. Are you effing kidding me? After being ridiculed by you in the middle of the salon, for everyone to see? I was so excited about this, I told everyone how I was getting my hair done at the Bellami salon. Now I'll be telling everyone how Bellami treats their customers. Do better, maybe get some customer service training for your floor team. read more

The vibe here was unpleasant the day I went. I was with a friend who wanted advice on matching her hair and what texture to match hers. The sales lady greeted us as if we were bothering her. She was mostly on her cellphone and NOT HELPFUL. It may have been just a bad day for her but a lousy experience for us. read more

Either Bellami is shipping unacceptable product, or they are providing unacceptable service at their stores. My stylist and I have been loyal customers for years, most recently purchasing a set of Walnut Glow extensions in December 2025. While Bellami hair is advertised to last 6-12 months, I experienced an issue with a weft while traveling and sought assistance at the Beauty Bar on May 22 (well within the 6-12 months), trusting their policy that any Bellami wearer can receive help at any location. Upon arrival, Emily Acevedo claimed my extensions were not Bellami products after only a few seconds of examination. She refused to look at any proof of purchase and declined to look up my account history. Furthermore, after I scheduled an appointment for a new installation and paid a deposit, the staff refused to perform the necessary removal of my current hair, reiterating their claim that the hair was not Bellami. I was directed to an outside salon that they claimed "we can send you somewhere we, like, trust" -- with no regard as to who I trust or feel comfortable with; especially after trying to gaslight me that my stylist had duped me, and I was left with no choice but to cancel my appointment and request a refund. Emily also had the ability to look up my account to check on that end, and chose not to. There was no apology or no explanation as to why I had allegedly been duped for years. As someone who's worn extensions for nine years, asking me to go an entire holiday weekend without hair is unacceptable. I had no choice other than to cancel for a refund as these women were completely unwilling to help me out. I've done nothing wrong, my stylist and I followed all ordering and installation and care processes completely correctly. The fact that Bellami either 1. Does not distribute what they advertise or 2. Lies and gaslights to avoid performing services, or get out of claiming responsibility - is unacceptable and ILLEGAL either way. Myself as a customer client, and my stylist as a stylist client, both could have made other choices when selecting hair. We have selected and stuck with Bellami exclusively for many years when we could have chosen competitors. Being left without professional support during a holiday weekend is unkind and unacceptable. My stylist and I have followed all proper ordering and care protocols. The dismissal of my documented purchase history and the subsequent refusal of service is deeply concerning. A report has been filed with the BBB. Attached is the receipt from my stylist of the bellami hair we ordered that Miss Emily decided isn't after a .2 second inspection. I've heard Bellami has bad customer service, but after 9 years with minimal issue-- I never thought the reality was that they are actually committing fraud?! read more

Prices are HIGH. 24" 1C extensions over $400 with a 10% discount. I also got the hanger bag (looks like a mini garment bag and mini skirt hanger) to keep them. The extensions are human hair and have to be washed, and conditioned with sulfate free shampoo and blow dried. Maintenance of human hair. The store attendant was extremely helpful explaining the process, talking us through different options and was not to sales-y. The salon is extremely clean with a great, consistent black and white glam aesthetic. Overall, beware of high prices but top notch salon experience. read more

Was a 30 minute Uber drive from the upper Eastside I was extremely excited to go in and look at high end clip in extensions. I was greeted almost immediately when I walked in but the customer service was far from great. They seem to have a attitude when I asked some questions regarding the extensions they didn't have anything in stock and they didn't want to direct me in a place where maybe I could find some thing I was looking for. they didn't even tell me a goodbye when I left, I didn't really like the uppity attitude in the store especially when I have money to spend. I left with absolutely nothing and I probably won't be returning. PS if you are looking for a certain color of extension my advice is to call beforehand because they have extremely low stock available in store. read more

My whole life, I've wanted longer, thicker, and more voluminous hair. That type of result just wasn't happening naturally for me. What also initially drew me to Bellami was the expertise with my hair type, the option for temporary clip-in options, and the potential to explore more permanent options. The clip-ins were a gateway for me. I went from clip-in's to k-tips, to weft hair. AND WOW, I FEEL BEAUTIFUL. There's no doubt it's amazing to be able to go into a place and get your hair matched on the spot. You're investing a lot of money in a product so to know it matches perfectly is really great! BUT with spending that much money on a product, you want to feel like you're not being an inconvenience to the people working there or insulted immediately as you sit down. I went in to get matches for extensions to use for my wedding (I had an appointment made and everything) and I sit down in the chair and the first thing she says to me is how dead my hair is and I need a haircut.
