Came here to get my nails done. Bought a groupon for shellac and made an appointment. Made my appointment at 10 which is the time they open, which I felt was a bit late to open but I don't know. I arrived early because I wasn't sure where this place is. Got a little lost but found my way. They opened 5 minutes after 10, which I was okay with being that I was in no rush. The lady got me started by removing the old shellac. I asked if she had time to do a pedicure since the groupon was only for a manicure with shellac. She said yes, woo hoo!! While the foil was on my fingers she started on my toes. She was great and the color came out great! After she finished with my toes she did my shellac. I was amazed by all the colors they had!! I chose the color "Molly" which I fell in love with the minute I saw it!! I was going to do something more fall like but this color got my attention. She pushes back the cuticles and cuts any hang nails. She was amazing! I'm willing to drive 30 minutes away for her services!! I even tipped her extra because I enjoyed my experience!! read more

I was pretty pumped to use my Groupon and had high hopes for this hair salon, unfortunately my hair came out not to my liking. The stylist, Tatiana was extremely nice and professional and I am sad to post this but the balayage to me was basically just bleach slathered all over most of my head and the parts where it was hand painted there's clearly banding/blotchiness. I also mentioned i wanted to gradually go to a blonde color, which i guess there was a misunderstanding because my hair is now a very dark brassy blonde color, i believe she misunderstood what i was wanting. My hair was too dark of orange for the toner to really do much. She should have known that and colored over it atleast if it was going to be that color. I told the hairstylist i was a bit disappointed about the banding and she didn't really say much, she did ask if i wanted her to bleach it again;which i declined because it was already processed alot more than i wanted. Some parts of my hair did have old dye in it so it's normal for some darker parts but had bleach not been so strong and a dye used over it i think the color issue would have been fixed. Updating to add: I contacted the owner and she suggested I ask Groupon for a refund or I receive 40% of the groupon price back if i'm not willing to have another stylist at the salon fix my hair. I suggested the owner contact groupon to refund me the full amount; of course she declined. Before accepting the offer of having the other stylist do my hair (since I was extremely weary) I dug a little deeper into reviews on Groupon and found other's complaining of a bad cut or color by the stylist she raved about having good reviews. Also, alot of the good reviews were for the nail appointments! That seems like she was intentionally trying to mislead me into believing all these reviews were for hair. Besides that point color correction is not something any stylist can do it takes expertise and a master colorist. I really didn't trust walking into that salon again. It's reasonable to request my money back when my hair is going to need an expert to correct the color and i'll be out ATLEAST 300$. I'm not even sure why I paid in the first place, I guess I was just in shock and didn't feel like disputing being charged. I drove 1 1/2 hours each way only to walk out with hair I could've done better myself and not even good customer service. Moral of the story: Look into the reviews on all sites beforehand and maybe question why there are so few reviews for that salon. read more

I stumbled upon this salon because of a groupon. This location is fairly new (about 8 mos old) and is kind of hidden on westheimer. Since there is only one manicurist, you have to make an appointment beforehand because of her groupon popularity. Anyways, I made it to my appointment on time and was greeted by a woman at the front desk. I later found out she is the owner. I had to wait 15 minutes after my appointment time which annoyed me, but the manicurist was awesome. She was very nice and talkative, which is different from other salons. She worked fast and asked me if I wanted another coat of polish (which duh I said yes to). I didn't get her name, but I wasnt as annoyed after my manicure and tipped her more than I originally intended. I'm definitely a fan! read more

I came to this location more than a year ago. I had a Groupon for a balayage, haircut and blow dry. Upon arrival the owner, I believe, greeted me she seemed to be pleasant. As she's talking to me trying to get a sense of what I want she tells me that the kind of balayage I want is extra and the Groupon doesn't cover it. I wanted to baldly to get my hair done I paid the extra 20 bucks. The hair cut was nice. I had never had my hair dyed to this extent before this appointment, I had a couple highlights but my hair was virgin hair. So she bleached it I wanted as light blonde as we could get. My hair is on the lighter side of brown. While at my appointment the woman was not professional. She said the f-word at least 3 times. Long story short my hair turned out orange. Just orange. She was praising my hair saying it looked so pretty and I thought that my hair was supposed to look like that. I didn't know any better. I left disappointed. A half a year later I had my prom, I looked for another salon to do my hair and the woman at the new salon I went to informs me that the reason my hair is orange and not at all what I wanted it probably because the bleach used on my hair was bad, even cheap bleach. I know I had a Groupon and I probably should not have expected too much but my hair was not at all what I wanted or what was on the pictures I showed the hairdresser. I remember asking her if my hair would maybe get lighter and the orange was temporary. But it wasn't. I did not come back to this place nor would I go back. It has been awhile and hopefully the place has improved. I'm giving One star because my hair was not at all what I wanted, the woman was vulgar and she should have tested to see if my hair would accept the bleach she used because I had orange hair for 6 months thinking it was normal, not knowing any better. read more

Amber is amazing and so glad I found this salon tucked away by the bougainvillea vines! Originally came because of a Groupon but have been a client going on 2 years! The salon takes care of both myself and hubby's hair cuts (both of us have curly hair) and Amber does perfect high & low lights. She has also helped with applying strip lashes for special occasions. A wonderful salon and never have to wait as she manages her schedule very well. read more

Janie is great, she a real hairstylist, Interior design of the shop is calming and colors are welcoming. you can always find parking spots as this is a big shopping center. The price is fair and service is professional. not top of the line, but definitely recommended. read more

Absolutely WORST experience I have EVER had. I spent a long time before my appointment going over what I wanted for my hair cut and color. I even had pictures showing what I wanted. Not only does my hair look NOTHING like the pictures (in color or cut) it looks absolutely terrible. I have never had such a bad color in my entire life. And to top it off, I was there for F-I-V-E hours. I finally left at 9:30PM, cutting my hair cut short and trying not to cry. My hair is ruined for Mother's Day weekend and I am now going to have to find someone to fix this mess. I have never been truly embarrassed about my hair until now. read more
