Hardly any patrons at 9 am on a Sunday. Lovely spot on the patio, buffered by ornamental trees. The menu had so many delightful options it was so hard to decide. I lean towards Hispanic flavors on the mornings after big nights out. I often look for some form of a huevos rancheros.... Sort of my measure of the merits of a breakfast joint. Although not a direct hit, the Chile Verde Benedict was definitely in the ballpark. The sauce was light and flavorful, and interesting how they do the tortilla stack to give the bulk of a eng muffin. I upgraded the side of potatoes for their supreme grits. Wow. No northerner that doesn't 'get grits' would deny these cheesy gooey savory mix of ground corn. Hubby got the Smashed Avocado Benny and loved it. Even the hash browns are fancy in their cylinder form. Service was friendly and prompt and did not mind all my questions and indecision...she got it...she loved the menu options and the joy the food brought. Next time coming in after noon to get the bubbles. By the time we left a line had started to form for groups of 4 or more.

Coming into it, around early dinner time hour, it was fair to say a slow evening for a Saturday. This provided us a fair chance to be able to not feel rushed during this experience. Server and food runners were on point. Server knew the menu and what to suggest as popular meals and what his favorites were. He also informed us that food was made from scratch and the ribs were already sold out! Bummer as that would've been a go to choice! The restaurant it self seemed cleaned and a sleek look to it. We chose 2 fried chicken meals and steak and frite. These dishes were to brag about 100%, wish I could've met the head chef and supervisor on shift to let them how wonderful the food was and that the staff have great personality and professional! This chicken meals were beyond what could've fool me as a homemade chicken made by someone's grandma! The steak was cooked to perfection that could've melted in your mouth. Due to my son's birthday, the server offered a complimentary dessert for him to have! I recommend this place or their other locations 10/10!

Came here on a Sunday evening. I've always wanted to try this place. It wasn't very busy. I sat at…read morethe bar and my bar tended/server was very nice and accommodating. The atmosphere felt like a casual new age, better, slightly more upscale and elegant version of Applebees, if that makes sense. Homey vibe but elegantly casual? Off rip I ordered a sweet tea which was phenomenal. It tasted like it has a slight peach undertone to it, and it was the right amount of sweet. I ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp as my appetizer and the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and brussels (I dont like coleslaw). I was told the bacon wrapped shrimp was a new menu item. For $19? They were cool. The fried chicken was really good. It was still steaming hot inside, when I took my first bite. The chicken was tender and had a good crunch to it. The brussels were okay. I typically like a more sweet glaze on my brussels but they did the job. I liked the mashed potatos, they were a little runny; the gravy made up for that though. I'm not a biscuit person but the biscuit that came with this meal was very soft, fluffy, moist, and had butter throughout. It was a bummer the only choices of hot sauce available were Tabasco and Cholula. I usually like Texas Pete, Crystal, or Louisiana hot sauce in my chicken. I WILL say, the monkey bread was SOOOOO good. So soft, warm, with apples and vanilla ice cream. If I knew it was this good I would have ordered 2 to go. Ultimately everything my was good, I had a great experience, and lots of leftovers.

I also love the Ocean Blue Thai Tea with coconut milk, which is such a fun and delicious option. The London Fog is pretty good too and makes for a nice switch-up when I'm in the mood for something different. Food-wise, I really enjoy their avocado toast, and the French toast is pretty good as well. The atmosphere & the matcha lol is what really keeps me coming back though it's cozy, aesthetically pleasing, and a great café to settle in and be productive for a while. Overall, it's a spot I frequent often and would definitely recommend if you're looking for a cute coffee shop/ café with good drinks, good food, and a nice vibe.

I got the BLT with potatoes today and as you can see, the potatoes were almost burnt, cold AND old. Lastly, the croissant was so dry and flaky that it barely held up while bitting. Thankfully i don't come to this 1 often but im so disappointed, never again :/

Under the Breakfast Signature EggWhiches option I got the Rio Grande that comes with jalapeño cream cheese, choice of meat & egg. I chose the french toast bagel because I've never had a French toast bagel (again trying something unique) and it surprisingly went well with the Rio Grande. This eggwhich was soo good and flavorful. I don't know if the flavor was coming from the jalepeno cream cheese, the French toast bagel or combination of both but I highly recommend this combo. My husband got the Italian Stallion sandwich from the lunch menu which he enjoyed as well. Both of our sandwiches were big and filling. I had to save half of mines for later & it was still good a few hours later. Besides the food options from the menu there are fresh pastries, a-lot chips & drinks selection, cold meats, grab & go deli options & cheese spreads to purchase. The staff were all so friendly. The owners mother was helping out during our visit and she was very warm and friendly. I love supporting family run business. I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast, lunch or if you just have a sweet tooth and want a fresh pastry.
