Fairly decent eggs benedict. quick service. nothing mind blowing but a solid breakfast!

Greeted as soon as we walked in. Staff was very welcoming and attentive. Our server was very kind. He kept checking on use during we had everything we needed and answered all my questions about the menu. Everything I had was good. My friends only complaint was the scrambled eggs were too hard. But other than that the food was pretty good. Would definitely come back to try other items on the menu. We went early in the morning and it was pretty busy. But there was no line or no wait.

On my last day of my visit to Atlanta, we decided to visit this breakfast place. I had been to their Nashville location last year and it was so delicious. I was glad to see there was one local to my friend. This time I got the apple cinnamon French toast with the potatoes. My friend got a pancake that was huge. You only need one. And if you get bacon, you may want to ask for an extra crispy. The coffee was really good too. Toni was our server and she was very attentive. The bathrooms were very clean along with the restaurant. I will definitely be back.

I came here with my husband for breakfast and we were so disappointed. The food was so bad neither of us finished it. I think this is the worse food I've had from a restaurant in a while. I ordered a cheese grits which was okay and stuffed turtle French toast since the server recommended it as a good representation of the restaurant. It tasted like they smeared cream cheese in between two pieces of bread and put chocolate syrup all over it. My husband ordered the chicken and waffle. The waffle was hard, did not taste good, and the chicken was two dry chicken tenders. Our server also was not very attentive, did not refill our water, or check on us. The ambiance was also not great, the decor was fine but our table rocked back and forward the entire meal. Overall we just had a very negative experience.

Certainly all restaurants have a bad day on occasion. We visited KeKe's at 11:25 AM on a Friday, and of 11:40 AM we had yet to be acknowledged, although the restaurant was not really busy. No water, no coffee, no concern whatsoever. Plenty of servers and employees around, so we gave it a few more minutes before we finally got up and walked. The food looked good, but the reoccurring theme in KeKe's reviews appears to be the lack of service, and certainly a lack of urgency. This was very true for our visit. The guy that finally asked us "Have you been waited on" was correct but he had also been standing right by us the majority of the time. A little too little, a little too late. There are many wonderful lunch and brunch restaurants in Roswell, Georgia. This one doesn't appear to be one of them, with a pretty consistent lack of service issue in their reviews. Good luck KeKe's. Life is too short to be ignored.

Since they will be opening a Keke's soon in Tucker, we thought we should try it out! Very polite greeting, sat in first booth - cute, but it was so cold! Server recommended a couple of things. Mom got caramel coffee. She also ordered the loaded bowl. This was enough food for 3 people! I got the Philly cheesesteak omelette. Not a fan of their breakfast potatos (cause onions) but the omelette was pretty tasty! Def had leftovers! Can't wait for the Tucker location so we can try the pancakes that are the size of a dinner plate!

The interior s squeaky clean. The service was top notch. Servings were extraordinarily generous. The fruit was very fresh and top quality. My constructive criticism: the pancake batter tasted like it had chemicals in premade mix with not much flavor; there are no pastries such as cinnamon buns, croissants nor muffins on the menu.

We were in the area and decided to stop by for brunch. The restaurant is located in a large shopping plaza. The restaurant was bright and very clean. We were welcomed in and seated immediately. I decided on the French toast combo with bacon and potatoes. The French toast was light and fluffy and the bacon was delicious. I requested that the potatoes were made crispy, but some weren't as crisp as I'd prefer. Overall, I'd stop by again. Service was good and they have a large menu.

This was our first visit to Keke's breakfast Café in Roswell. The food and service were pretty good, but the wait times were a little too long. When we entered the restaurant a little before noon on a Sunday, most of the tables were vacant. This is why we were surprised to hear that there was a 30 to 45 minute wait. We later heard the hostess explain to another customer that there were a few large parties and the kitchen couldn't handle any additional orders at this time. We ended up waiting around 30 minutes for a table. After we were seated, the server was friendly and attentive, the food was served quickly, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Based upon the taste and quality of the food, we would consider returning some time in the future. However, based upon the long wait times due to what sounded like an understaffed kitchen, our return might not be anytime soon. Cheers

I love breakfast foods, so I was excited to see a new breakfast option pop up nearby. Hubby, on the other hand, is not big on breakfast and did not share my enthusiasm. I managed to convince him to try it anyway because I saw they have tuna on their lunch menu and he is still searching for a spot to get a good tuna sandwich. Unfortunately, he hated the tuna at Keke's, which he says is way too fishy for his liking, so his search continues. My breakfast, however, did not disappoint. I got the make your own combo with one pancake, 2 eggs, and home fries with cheddar cheese added. I also opted for an extra side of bacon because breakfast without bacon is just too sad. The food was great! The bacon was cooked to perfection with some crispiness and also some soft spots. I thought everything tasted really good. The home fries were good but I think this was thanks to the cheese as I suspect they would have been too plain without it. I am an IHOP enthusiast and whenever I try a new breakfast spot, I tend to regret not having gone to IHOP instead but that did not happen today. I don't think I can say that it's better than IHOP because I still think IHOP hash browns beat Keke's home fries and same with the pancakes, though Keke's pancake is very good. While it might not be better than IHOP in my book, it can certainly compete, which is more than I can say for any other breakfast spot I've tried. I will be back for sure!

I finally got to attend this place and always wanted to try it since I moved to the Atlanta area…read more I've heard nothing but great things about it. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. It's a beautiful restaurant inside meaning it's good for a date, a night out with friends or family, or a great place to celebrate for a prom or graduation. It's more upscale than a traditional restaurant however I loved it! I came here with my business coach since I won a competition and the prize was to have lunch at the place of my choice. She ordered the soup of the day, which was like this cheddar soup that came with these two sauces, which one of the sauces was a jalapeño based sauce, which was spicy, but not too spicy to wear it wasn't edible. She did like her soup and she also ordered the lobster and smoked Gouda ravioli for her entrée. She had no complaints considering she bagged the food up to go and wanted to finish it right there, but she couldn't. Lol. I ordered the twin seared chicken, which is actually half a chicken pan seared. My chicken was so delicious! It was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection to where it was fall off the bone. Just how I like it! The rice and the green beans paired well with it. My rice was cooked well, meaning it was not mushy or hard. And my green beans were a great consistency as well. My little one had a chicken tender salad since she loves cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, pretty much anything that comes in a salad that's not the lettuce. Lol. I must say I was impressed by the size of the salad because it was huge for a child. It would be great as a size salad for an adult. The chicken tenders were an amazing size, bigger than what most restaurants would give especially for a child's plate. I was highly impressed by the size of the portions for the children because the price is pretty standard for a kids meal entrée in comparison to other restaurants that give less. Our service was awesome! I wouldn't expect anything less considering the ambience of the restaurant. Our server was attentive, and he even bagged up both of our meals for us. This place is a 10 out of 10 and yes, I will be frequenting this restaurant a lot more in the future, even if it's by myself to sit at the bar.

They needed to clean the booth, so we waited, but when we were taken to our seats, one side of the booth still had cocktail stirrers on the seat. (Likely 4 smaller people would have been able to squeeze into that booth, but knowing we had 3 larger adults in our party of 5, I asked if we could move to a table.) Moving to the open table required a manager's override. Very thankfully, a waiter asked if we'd been helped, when he noticed us standing near the hostess stand, and explained that a manager needed to make the change to a table with chairs. (The hostess did not explain that to us.) The waitress at our table was polite to us and provided excellent service, but it was clear she was trying to rush us along. I ordered the almond encrusted trout, which was okay, but the mashed sweet potatoes were served cold. (Maybe it was wrong of me to assume they would be served warm, as I have had sweet potato salad at a Korean restaurant that was served cold, but seeing that my husband's mashed potatoes were steaming hot, it was another disappointment.). When we told them that we were there for my husband's birthday, they did comp us the cost of a dessert and put a lit candle in the desert for us. However, the overall experience and food were just okay, not great, as we had hoped.

Unfortunately, our excitement quickly faded before we were even seated. When I walked into the restaurant, I was completely ignored by a young blonde employee named Claudia who was standing behind the counter in the waiting area. She looked directly at me and continued what she was doing without so much as a greeting or an acknowledgment. A simple, "Good morning, someone will be right with you," would have gone a long way. Since no one else was in the lobby and I noticed a clipboard on the counter, I politely asked if there was a waitlist. Claudia responded with an attitude that she "wasn't the hostess." I calmly asked where the hostess was, and she simply replied that she was clearing tables. There was no offer to help, no explanation of the process, and no attempt to assist me. She continued interacting with other staff members while I stood there feeling like an inconvenience. Thankfully, another employee who appeared to be a waiter noticed me. He immediately picked up the same clipboard that had been sitting on the counter, took my name and phone number with a cheerful attitude, and let me know it would be about a 15-minute wait. His professionalism completely contrasted with the poor customer service I had just experienced. Once seated, our waiter was personable, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was also very good. I ordered the Chicken Sausage Scramble with hash browns, and it was delicious. My friend ordered the Catfish and Grits and thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well. The food and our waiter helped redeem the experience, but first impressions matter. Management should ensure that every employee understands that providing basic courtesy and hospitality is everyone's responsibility, not just the hostess's. Even if greeting guests or managing the waitlist wasn't Claudia's primary role, there was no excuse for being dismissive or rude to someone walking through your front door. Alpharetta has no shortage of excellent brunch spots with both great food and outstanding customer service. Sadly, because of the way I was treated before I was even seated, I won't be returning to The Southern Porch. I also won't feel comfortable recommending it to friends or family. It's disappointing because the kitchen and our waiter did their jobs well, but one employee's attitude overshadowed what could have been an otherwise enjoyable brunch.
