The chicken tacos are good and it's not expensive! It comes with cilantro, onions, guacamole (I ask to have on side), and red & green sauce on side. There's not many decent spots in the area so I love when I can find a place that is good. They are super friendly and service is quick. Need to feed group? Does the group like Mexican food? You just found a pretty solid spot. I generally don't feed a group so when I place an order I usually make 3 to 4 meals from it. The centerpiece of my order are usually the nachos, which comes generously stacked and packed in the container. You can get them vegetarian, or add some meat - the upgrade is generous as well. The tacos are my go to especially when you get the handmade tortilla option. Tortas are another good option with the filling to bread ratio correct - these sandwiches are stuffed. There red and green sauce has a lot of flavor and can bring the heat. They usually generously throw in a few without have to beg - in fact, that's why I've probably been ordering more from this place for Mexican despite having a good option nearby. That place sometimes forgets the sauce and if they remember its only one of each with not much flavor. I'm not saying its the very best Mexican I've had, but I never feel disappointed ordering from here. Homey, delicious, and no fuss. Bella's Place serves delicious, authentic, and affordable Mexican food. Definitely a popular local spot, I saw several groups of workers come here to get their lunch. The lady who runs the store is so sweet and makes the whole experience even better. I can't wait to go back! I went simple and got a burrito and chips & guac. The tacos are amazing! I visited 2 times in 2 weeks. It's a small space but the food packs a punch. I had the shrimp Taco, al pastor, carnitas and the tongue taco. Tacos are good but they almost always forget a taco. It's very frustrating. Often time they offer a credit which is not helpful because your hungry and one or two of your tacos are missing. After reading all the reviews for Bella's I decided to visit for lunch while working in the area. My coworker was craving tacos and I was happy to recommend Bella's. I read the reviews regarding the tacos so we both decided on the El Pastor Tacos. I also ordered a chicken soup because of the cold weather. The Al Pastor Tacos were very good. Fresh cilantro, ceballo and guacamole. I just wish there was more pork. The tortillas were very delicious. I didn't really care for the soup because of the boiled chicken. The service was great and our food arrived quickly. There was ample seating and the restaurant was very clean. They also serve Horchata which I would like to sample soon. I have ordered from this place twice now and it sure won't be the last time! Each time I have ordered, my order was correct and delicious! The vegetarian burrito, shrimp tacos, and corn mushroom quesadilla have been my go tos so far. They are all so DELICIOUS! The shrimp that they put in the tacos are a true decent size!! The quesadilla came on a bed of lettuce, the burrito was alone wrapped to perfection , and the tacos just came wrapped with some radishes and sauce on the side. I work in the area and recently head about this place and had to try it. After checking out the menu I opted to order the roasted pork cemita, carnitas taco and a co worker got the shrimp quesadilla. Holy moly was the taco amazing, so much guac and fresh onion. The pork was so tender and cooked just right. The cemita was loaded, cheese, tomato, onion, avocado and the bread was just right. I ordered crema and hot sauce and green sauce to add to the flavor($.50 extra per sauce) and was blown away. The messed up the order and we had to go back as they only gave one cemita, they were very friendly when I called back and even threw in a free taco for my troubles. We came across Bella's Place one afternoon looking on yelp for a local inexpensive Mexican spot. Not every meal has to be a 3 or 4 dollar sign! Anyway. So we walk in and not for nothing it's a bit seedy. Looks a tad grimy but I think that adds to the experience. But we stayed regardless. I ordered a horchata, a roasted pork tostado and a roast pork taco. (Generally in true Mexican style restaurants the tacos come soft on a corn tortilla.) and Jeffrey ordered a beef fajita. The horchata was by far the best I have ever had. It was amazing. Not too much cinnamon and it was a perfect consistency. The taco was really good too. But the star of the show was the tostado. OMG it was so good. The layers of ingredients and the mountain of cheese at the top really hit the spot. Now I don't know if I eat my tostados the correct way or not but it ended up all over my face. The server was very friendly. The restaurant is small but clean. Even the bathroom was very clean. Great local Mexican restaurant. Have grabbed food from here numerous times and am never disappointed. Prior to covid I would pick up tacos or tortas about once a week. Always hot. Always fresh. Always great. I've tried their soups and specialty dishes as well and always very good. Lately my routine has been changed up and I've been grabbing scrambled eggs and tortillas late in the morning for an early lunch. Very simple and very good. I called ahead to order tacos (chicken, beef and carnitas) Be mindful that there is currently a shortage of beef which has caused the beef taco price to increase slightly. Nevertheless, the tacos were reasonably priced. I paid about 9 dollars for three well sized tacos that came with all the toppings including guacamole which is ALWAYS a PLUS in my book. I was on a quest today for quick cheap eats near the Queens Civil courthouse and settled on Dominick's Pizza. That didn't go so well but as I left there, directly across the street my eye caught this little oasis with "Gran Apertura" flyers at the front door. Thier fare is a combo of Guatemalan and Mexican Cuisine. Queue - entrance! I was immediately greeted with not one but two attentive friendly counter attendants who took my order and invited me to sit at a comfy seat at a well lit table - not too bright or overly flourescent or cafeteria like. The menu fit my mood perfectly. I had two tasty tacos that were ready in a jiffy along with a Jarritos Tamarind soda. They had two spits that were not in use at the front so it looks like they were left over from whatever this used to be. They have Autentica comida Guatemalteca - including Pollo Asado, Sopa de Gallina, Adobado de Puerco, Pollo Campero and Carne Asada and then they have Autentica Comida Mexicana as well including Tamales, Quesadillas, Huevos a la Mexicana, Tortas, Burritos and Tacos as well as Arroz con leche and Aguas Frescas. Ordered a lot of tacos and a cemita for delivery. Delivery took ~1hour which is fine because we ordered a lot of food. The tacos had A LOT of meat on them. They are good fresh or when you're hungry and everything tastes good. I had three tacos and was very full because it's quite a big portion, so I saved the pork cemita for later and it was NOT good, it tasted really greasy. I'm sure it'd taste better fresh, but the same goes for the tacos. What I loved about their tacos was how generous they were with the guac in the taco. Prices were cheap for the amount of food. Shrimp taco wasn't very fresh, the shrimp tasted like overcooked frozen shrimp, but flavors were alright. This place is the best take out Mexican spot in the area (maybe in all of Queens). Again, it's a take out spot so if you're looking for ambiance and environment this ain't the place for you. The food is the star here and it's is SO GOOD. Their tacos are amazing, they come with that green sauce which I love and they're wrapped in the traditional Mexican corn tortillas. Burritos are great (makes me feel sorry for people who think chipotle has good burritos) and the tortas/cemitas are to die for. Also, the prices are amazing! Tacos $3 burritos $8 torta/cemitas $8!
