Pano shot of Bellatrix dining room with bar in the back of pic. Great Wall of Wine!

After almost 10 years of living here in Palm Springs area, we found Bellatrix for dinner!! Food is superb, service is outstanding!! The dining room has a relaxed mood. However we were seated next to 2 large parties who shared their conversations with the entire dining room. Looked in the bar on our way out. Our server told us that when busy, the bar gets louder than the dining room. Ran into the restaurant's manager and he invited us to come back for their Italian night next month and said they offer special wine lunches and dinners! Bellatrix is a great shelter from the wind on the north side of I-10!!! And last night it was blowing hard! Four thumbs up!!

Nice restaurant facing a beautiful golf course. Service was quick and easy. Food was excellent. Great spot to grab food before teeing off.

OMG it was so good. Beautiful restaurant with views of the golf course and mountains. We had the prime rib, three corse meal. But I forgot to take a picture of the food. Oh well, You've seen prime rib with mashed potatoes and green beans before. And a cappuccino and tiramisu for dessert. It was delicious, I'll be back.

This was our first visit to Bellatrix, and it definitely won't be our last. We attended a special "Tequila Dinner" which featured a special paired menu with various tequila cocktails. SERVICE: Excellent! The entire staff were on their game, from the hostesses to the servers, busboys, and management. Everyone was super friendly and went out of their way to accommodate guests' questions and desires. FOOD & DRINK: The "Tequila Dinner" featured a special paired menu with various tequila cocktails for $100/person, all inclusive (tax and gratuity). We had: * 1st course was a California Chile Rubbed Grilled Octopus with fingerling potatoes, paired with an Oregano and Sea Foam Margarita. The octopus was grilled perfectly, and the sauce was amazing. The margarita was very interesting and quite refreshing. * 2nd course was a Roasted Duck Breast with Mango Salsa, served over black squid ink rice, paired with a Jalapeño Grilled Mango Sipper. The slice of duck breast was one of the best we've ever had: perfectly prepared and went so well with the mango salsa. I love duck, but am not a fan of Duck a l'Orange. However, this mango salsa was absolutely wonderful, especially with the jalapeño mango tequila cocktail. * 3rd course was a palate cleanser: A Prickly Pear Granita, which was quite refreshing and could have almost stood on its own as a lite, semi-sweet dessert. * 4th course was a Pan-Seared Rabbit Quarter with cherry tomato compote and lima bean puree, paired with an Extra Añejo Old Fashioned. I do enjoy rabbit, and this was prepared well. They paired it with an Old Fashioned using extra añejo tequila instead of bourbon. It was a crowd pleaser. * Dessert was a Tres Agaves Añejo Cinnamon-Caramel Frappé, which was like liquid heaven. A lite milk shake consistency with just a touch of tequila...really nice. After dinner, Chef Luis came out and introduce himself and discussed the evening's menu and his background, especially his love for seafood and game meats and how he liked to focus his specials on these cuisines. They also announced that they would be continuing their Wednesday Wine Lunches, probably in the fall. We'll definitely be looking into those. The restaurant is located at The Classic Club Golf Course and offers a large bar area and plenty of indoor and terrace dining areas. It's a beautiful facility, looking like a grand Tuscan Villa, and has both valet and self-parking. Hours are limited, but definitely worth checking out.: Lunch: Every Day, 11am - 3pm Wine Bar Menu: Thursday - Saturday 3pm - 8pm Wine Bar Drink Specials: Thursday - Saturday 3pm - 5pm Dinner: Thursday - Saturday, 5pm to 8pm

Went here before the first show at Acrisure arena. Food was outstanding. The service was awesome except the part where one of the younger guys helping run food brought another tables food to our table. We knew it wasn't ours so it didn't really cause any problems other than a laugh by us and the table next to us. Server was awesome. There were 8 of us (4 couples) and she split up our checks without even asking. Made it super easy to pay and head to the show. Will be back again for sure. Try the short rib! It was epic.

One of the best things going for Bellatrix is the outdoor seating and beautiful view of the golf course and lake. I know I spotted a great blue Herron in the mix of mallards, and there is other fauna roaming around. I've tried a few things in the past, but what wowed me the most was the side of fruit. Fresh, crisp cold, strawberries, pineapple, melons, and the largest blueberries I've ever seen! I was literally shocked when I saw how beautiful they looked; the taste matched the look! The chef is picking out some nice produce! I'm not a fan of the montecristo sandwich. I'd expect more meat. I ordered it "all turkey" so maybe they didn't give me anything extra to offset the missing ham. The bread was squishy and flavorful, especially with some strawberry jam. The service is every bit five stars! You can be confident you will be well cared for at Bellatrix.

Danielle was the most rude bartender I have ever met. Otherwise the restaurant has good food but won't return because of her.

Cocktails were made right, pretty and just the right amount of spirits. Excellent service with a personable waiter. Second night we were seated too close to live music and moved so we could talk. Favorite starters were Peppercorn Crusted Ahi and Japanese Crispy Pork Belly ( just a teeny bit dry). Best entrees for us were Seared Scallops and Sonoma Duck Breast. These were both dishes to go back for. Steak was well made too. The supporting veg sides also very good, not just plate fillers. The Baby Wedge Salad was a nice option. Hope to try the Roasted Beet Salad next time. Don't really recommend the Dutch Molten Lava Cake because it was dry & nothing special. Crème brûlée option excellent. This spot harkens back to the 80s without being outdated.

I had ordered a salad which was very fine. The dinner I ordered was the Scallop entree. It was so disappointing as it was burned, the Vegetables black and scallops like rubber. I had to return it... the waiter later said he definitely agreed.... But why did he serve me that then. It was taken off the bill for me but I was never offered any other replacement. Basically I didn't eat!

When you enjoy a dish there and want to have it again rest assured it is the same fabulous taste as your initial time! We have had steaks, pastas, salads ,, pizza and wines and I have loved every dish I tried. The short ribs are luscious . My favorite salad is the beet salad. Always so fresh and so many flavors in one salad! The Pork Chop is excellent too. It's difficult to find a Chef who can get a pork chop just right. This chef nails it everytime!! There is a little area with high top tables Where one can catch a ball game and also one tv in one of the eating areas but they are not at all intrusive. There typically not many children when we are there but when they have been they have been well mannered at very young ages and they make dining fun! We started with dinner and ended up staying for the music, dancing, and all the fun that makes The Nest such a special place. I ordered the chicken piccata and honestly, it was the best I've ever had. The service was wonderful, and even though we were seated near the piano in the bar area where it can get a little loud, that's part of what makes it such a fun atmosphere. The best part of the night was having everyone together. My niece's boyfriend was visiting from Ireland, and we laughed and danced all night. I especially loved seeing my sister-in-law out on the dance floor and having so much fun. It was one of those nights where people of all ages were dancing, laughing, and just enjoying being together. We had such a great time that they went back again the very next night. The live music was fantastic, and it was great seeing Nick on saxophone. The crowd was a fun mix, the energy was high, and the whole place just felt happy. A coworker recently went during Restaurant Week and couldn't stop talking about the steak, the generous portions, and the peanut butter pie. The Nest has been a desert favorite for years, and there's a reason. It's always nice to see Dodi there and how much pride she takes in the restaurant. Most people think of The Nest for the music and dancing, but don't miss the food. It really is that good! One tip: go early or make a dinner reservation so you don't end up waiting in line.
