    Filet sandwiches are sublime
    Jim V.

Just right. It's fine dining so even the experienced diner might find it a tad intimidating. Don't let that happen because this entire staff was welcoming and friendly. We sat at the bar for happy hour and that was an amazing choice. 10 out of 10 exceptional service with a genuine desire to welcome and serve. The sliders were sublime, and the wines by the glass were perfect and well priced. Eddie Vs is a small artfully curated chain were replication of their very best was executed to perfection.

$10 happy hour martini: 5 star

Was treated to a very nice happy hour at Eddie V's and I'm still thinking about it. Happy hour martini: 5 stars Started out the evening with a happy hour gin martini for $10. Perfectly crafted by Raul and served in a frozen martini glass goes down perfectly smooth. So smooth in fact, I ordered the second one. Royal Ossetra Petrossian caviar: 5 stars Definitely splurged on this one, but it was worth every cent. Delicious royal ossetra caviar serve atop crème fraîche and with perfectly prepared Blinis - soft, crisp edges and perfectly warm. I love caviar and don't get to eat it as much as I want. I hope to come back for more real soon. Tableside Steak Tartare: 4 stars Tender steak tartar served with black truffle drizzle and a couple shavings. Crispy crust slices very good dish. Prime steak tataki: 5 stars Served with wild mushrooms, green onions, and a Korean chili paste! The flavors are quite invigorating and the spice is a very mild heat. All the ingredients were well balanced and worked together to make a cohesive appetizer. Steak is cooked perfectly and I would order this dish again. Service: 5 stars. Our bartender was Raul, and he shakes the best martinis. Great service, possesses a great knowledge of the menu and drink items and was an absolute joy to spend happy hour with. I look forward to coming back to Eddie V's for another great happy hour.

Burrata salad split with beets and arugula

OK, so this was a very pleasant surprise. A vegetarian since 1979 I'm going to a seafood/steakhouse with my buddy because he likes the place. My buddy spent a number of years as a chef at various restaurants and spent a great number of years in Scottsdale, Arizona as a Chef as well as an owner. A seasoned restauranteur. Well, let me tell you that this was one of the best experiences I've had in a long time and I'm in restaurants frequently for the past 50 years. I dig it. It's my thing. I like the social aspect and the entire experience to include the aesthetic, design, presentation, and the service! Of course, the food and drinks play into this equation as well. A great bonus was the terrific jazz trio last night I must add. Well, let's start with this brilliant talented, charming, young man named JACE, (I believe that's his name.) I hope I get that right. I mean from the moment we walked in you could tell this cat knew what he was doing. My buddy had a gift card for $150.00 and he wanted to use it up. So we dug in. I had this incredible Bullit bourbon cocktail and my friend had a nice glass of Rombauer Chardonnay, affectionately referred to as "Danville Crack" in the East Bay up north! The "fuel" for all of those suburban housewives who stay home and "google eye" the UPS Man and the pool boy.... For me, it was the burrata salad with honey and golden and red beets and arugula. My benefactor enjoyed the happy hour slider specials with filet mignon as the star ingredient! I don't eat this stuff, but it was quite remarkable for the price point of $13 for the two of them with a lovely bun and plated artistically. A nice touch was the charming food runner popping out with the salad split for the two of us without our suggestion. I liked that a lot. A well presented and thoughtful gesture. Ding dong! Ringing bells all over the happy meter! Busy for a Wednesday night and Jace was running around, jumping on the other side of the bar to wait on his section of tables with all the precision and expertise of a seasoned professional. And, all along with a great smile on his face and continual conversation with us two sitting at the bar, kind of grinding him a bit with our banter and attempted humor. He was a real sport, right there with us on a warm personal level. It was truly a great evening and I hope to return one day soon for the vegetarian gnocchi. I'd like to thank the staff, especially Jace and the wonderful jazz trio that was chopping it up so eloquently!

    The best crab cake

First off, I'm a big fan of a steakhouse down the street from this place but I was convinced by a foodie local friend to give this place a shot. This place blew me away service wise. The server, Alyssa, went above and beyond to make my first time fun and exciting. Also, gave me a taste of some of their signature dishes and she was so sweet about it. Id come back just to have her as my server again. The steak, ribeye, was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I didnt care for the Brussel sprouts as they were a tad soggy but I did like the fried rice and the crab dishes. The crab tasted so fresh and flavorful. The Mac and cheese were really al dente, which was new for me. The ones I'm use to were softer but tge flavor was good and so id get it again. Overall, solid and almost better in some respects versus my fav steakhouse down the street

Perfect for any celebration. Pricey and worth every penny. Exceptional dinner!! Great service... fantastic food! Ambiance warm and inviting. Made a reservation, they were behind/full with many people waiting. Ɓut nice cover band for patrons enjoyment. Food was exceptional!! Had calamari was beautiful presentation in a Vietnamese style 'Birds nest '.. the calamari was perfect, moist, soft,& flavorful. Next was the lobster bisque fantastic.. smokey, flavorful with lobster delicious. Next was Salmon...omg...perfectly cooked added the crab/ shrimp. The crab was mouth watering. Ceasar salad was good, but the dressing wasn't my favorite. Last but not least a flight for desert. Each item amazing... banana flambay, cookies & strawberry/basil sorbet. I fell in love with the sorbet! Whole dinner was an exercise in perfect.

Had a fantastic dinner at Eddie V's. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and the overall experience was outstanding. A special thank you to AJ for taking such great care of our family. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure both we and our kids felt welcomed and comfortable throughout the evening. His service truly elevated the experience. We'll definitely be back!

Now through may 31st they have sushi in the bar. It was excellent. We love the sushi . The service was not good tonight which is highly unusual maybe people did not show up on a Wednesday night. Otherwise I would have given them five stars.

This restaurant was very nice. Very romantic, lights dimmed, quiet. I came here for the first time for a birthday dinner. Our server was nice. Alittle pricey. The standout dish for us was definitely the lobster mash potatoes. The With Love Eddie drink was yummy as well!! My sister loved her birthday treat she definitely felt special!!

Came to Eddie V's, while on vacation, and wow, what an experience! Nayevah was our server and she was simply amazing! She made us feel comfortable and was both kind and attentive. The atmosphere is classy, clean, and very upscale. We came for happy hour and did not make a reservation, however, we were accommodated, as we came right when they opened. I would highly recommend reservations for happy hour as it did fill up. We ordered: tomato and burrata salad, filet sliders, and steak tataki. For the drinks we ordered: Eddie's cosmopolitan, 24 Karat, Hope Diamond and a Straight & Narrow (this one was a mocktail). They were all delicious and the Hope Diamond was my favorite as it had a Butterfly Pea flower tea ice cube that colored the martini beautifully. It also had the best taste out of the 3 martinis. The best part was 2 of our 4 drinks were shaken and finished right at our table. This was very special. The food was delicious and beautifully plated. My favorite was the filet sliders, and they were perfectly cooked. The steak tataki flavors were great but the meat was overcooked, and there was absolutely no pink inside of the steak. The tomato and burrata salad was so refreshing but I did feel this item was overpriced at $18. We frequent the Coachella Valley, a few times a year, and this experience was unforgettable so we will be back.

    Shellfish Tower, $79. Good value

One of the best dining experiences I've had in some time. Highly recommend for your special occasion. Came in for our anniversary and the staff made a big fuss: personalized card and confetti on the table, rose for my lady and multiple check-ins from staff. Speaking of staff, service was amazing. This is fine dining, folks: jacketed waiter AJ was very personable, professional and helpful without being smarmy. Just right. Manager was smooth and awesome and memorized our order when our waiter got tied up. He suggested we get the Wedge BLT salad chopped and split. Hell yeah...great idea! Are you getting the picture, folks? Speaking of our order, the rest of the food was great. Started with the Shellfish Tower, which I fairly priced at $79. Only nit was that the lobster tail wasn't nearly as tender as the claws, but they rarely are. As a native Marylander, I'm very critical of crabcakes, and the $29 version here is the real deal. It's the size of a hockey puck, very little filler and the panko crust is an interesting twist. Sauce can be easily skipped, if you're a purist. Finished with a desert sampler. Bananas Foster Butter Cake (flambéed table-side!) was pretty amazing. Looking forward to our next celebration at the San Diego location at the bar for happy hour and live music!

They were able to take a last minute reservation here. Really happy they were able to accommodate that for our party! Came with complimentary sourdough and butter. Came warm and the butter had a hint of flavor in it. Started off with a wedge salad and yellowtail sashimi. Wedge salad was good, a little too heavy on the blue cheese but the salad itself was refreshing. The yellowtail sashimi was fresh and the sauce that they had it in complimented the dish Scallops was soo good, nice texture and flavor. So good. Ribeye steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely. HUGE piece of steak, good for sharing. Lastly we were given dessert, small piece of the banana foster butter cake, strawberry sorbet and chocolate cookie. All was very good but the banana foster butter cake stole the show and flavor. SOO good. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. Great place!

Had my birthday celebration here and they went above and beyond! They had the table decorated with a birthday card included! Champagne toast and birthday desert for myself and a sample plate for my guest. Our waiter was outstanding and very attentive. The only downer was the shared restrooms. It was very busy and the restrooms weren't being maintained very well.

    Dessert in the Desert!

We started with dinner and ended up staying for the music, dancing, and all the fun that makes The Nest such a special place. I ordered the chicken piccata and honestly, it was the best I've ever had. The service was wonderful, and even though we were seated near the piano in the bar area where it can get a little loud, that's part of what makes it such a fun atmosphere. The best part of the night was having everyone together. My niece's boyfriend was visiting from Ireland, and we laughed and danced all night. I especially loved seeing my sister-in-law out on the dance floor and having so much fun. It was one of those nights where people of all ages were dancing, laughing, and just enjoying being together. We had such a great time that they went back again the very next night. The live music was fantastic, and it was great seeing Nick on saxophone. The crowd was a fun mix, the energy was high, and the whole place just felt happy. A coworker recently went during Restaurant Week and couldn't stop talking about the steak, the generous portions, and the peanut butter pie. The Nest has been a desert favorite for years, and there's a reason. It's always nice to see Dodi there and how much pride she takes in the restaurant. Most people think of The Nest for the music and dancing, but don't miss the food. It really is that good! One tip: go early or make a dinner reservation so you don't end up waiting in line. The Nest is still one of the most fun places in the desert!

Sure you pay for everything for decor, glassware and not just spritis, but I recall wondering how they price their drinks becuase not everything is equal or standard mark up when some things aren't house made it's easy to cost out becuase you stop paying for creativity after a certain point. It feels like they took alot of Mr. Lyons business model and use that for pricing rather than a sole entity with their own margins. The service makes up for it, the ambiance makes up for it.
