While visiting in Michigan for a wedding I needed to get my nails done. I chose this salon since it seemed to be the most dependable and decent reviews. Salons in this area are hard to find. I enjoyed my pedicure (they offer only one type), quick massage. Decent job. I also had dip powder done on my nails. I believe his name was Andy but he did a great job. I am happy with my nails. The only downside is they do the services separately where I'm use to getting a pedi and dip done at the same time. So I was there for 2 hrs. All and all I'm happy and my nails look great! read more

Well I went into the salon and asked how much a pink and white powder fill, he told me it was 45.00 I said okay. I guess they really don't understand what a pink and white fill is, because he used basically normal acrylic powder and then wanted to use pink polish, then to fill in the white tips he wanted to use white nail polish. I really don't understand how hard it is to do what I asked? I have been getting them done in California for the last 30 years always the same they do the white tips (powder) than the pink (powder) . My nails look like crap because I refused to allow them to paint my nails. On top of it they charge for using a debt card which is illegal. So I will be contacting my bank to argue the charge. read more

I LOVE belle nails. I just watched a woman behave VERY badly in here & refuse payment to Kelly (the owner- who is the so kind, talented and sweet lady). It was embarrassing to witness. She was refusing to pay a large chunk of what was owed and was saying the service was horrible. She waited until the very end to tell Kelly she wasn't happy after Kelly did a wonderful job and did designs on the nails. The less than positive reviews on the page are shocking-- a case of people only writing reviews to complain, so trust me, this place is great. I spent way too much money in this establishment within 3.5 weeks only have had to go back to square one. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because of the massage chairs and the few decent nail techs I encountered. To for the record, I've visited this place 4 separate times to resolve issues that stemmed from my first visit (a full set and pedicure) hoping that there would be some type of resolution or improvement but unfortunately there was little to none. There is an older Vietnamese man there who did my full set (I don't remember his name, but DO NOT LET HIM TOUCH YOUR NAILS, he is rude and needs a lot more training). Fast forward two weeks later (remember the original full said that this man applied) three of the nails broke and the rest were ALL lifting. I went back for a fill and repairs and thankfully I ended up getting Taylor who fixed the majority of the issues that stemmed from my original set. She replaced the nails and corrected the majority of my issues. If it weren't for Taylor, I likely wouldn't have gone back to the salon, but I did about a week later to get a polish change becauseI need my nails to be fresh for work.I wasn't able to get Taylor again for the polish change but the job that the nail technician did was decent for both my hands and my feet, but my MAIN PROBLEM is that two days later on the day of my job (the reason I had to get a polish change in the first place) two more nails broke. Fast forward again to when I was able to go back to the salon to let them know what happened. They acted like they didn't care at all. They basically brushed my off, laughed in my face and acted like it was my fault because I had cut them all down. The only thing they offered was takeoff the nails for free which is $10 service. They didn't care that I had been spending all this money to have all of these issues resolved that stemmed from the original set. He [the man who did my original set] actually had the nerve to laugh when the person who I had told my issues to, started telling him (in Vietnamese) what I had told her. They didn't offer any type of discount on getting a new set or anything and they acted like they really didn't care at all. So the same man who put on the original set was the one who was told to take off the set of nails and he acted like he didn't know what he was doing. First he used toenail clippers to clip off but a bit of the ends of the acrylic which hurt because he was bending the nails in a weird way. Then he started to use the nail tips (you know the ones that you apply for extensions) to takeoff my acrylic but he pushed one under my actual nail and I jumped and told him that it hurt and then I asked him what exactly he was doing. He had the nerve to get upset at me and said I'm trying to do what you asked me to do but I can't do it if you won't stay still. Like, dude I'm not going to sit still when you're hurting me and clearly don't know what you're doing. And then he said "if you don't want me to do it then why are you here? You can leave" I told him I want them to take off the nails but I want my natural nail protected. I stayed mainly because the only thing that they offered was to take off those ridiculous acrylics. that had caused so much issues - I wasn't going to go anywhere else and I wasn't going to do it myself at home they were going to take it off for free because that's the only thing that they offered as a resolution so they were going to do it. So again I told him I want the nails off but I want my natural nail protected and from experience I don't trust you. So him with his attitude and pride hurt got up, turned off his light and he said I'm not going to do it you need to go sit and wait for someone else to takeoff your nails. Ridiculously rude right? Like, this is your fault - don't be mad at me. So I got up I sat and I waited for someone else to takeoff my nails, but not just take them off. I wanted them soaked off because I didn't want them to take out any anger that they had with me because I was simply coming back to resolve issues that stem from what they did. So they eventually set up the acetones and but thankfully the next nail tech who actually did do my soak off was kind and gentle with my nails. I say all that to say there are a few good nail techs in there but overall it's not that great of a place. Save your money and save your time for a place that cares about the people that they serve and not just about the money that they're bringing in. read more

Absolutely horrible service. I made an appointment for 1130, showed up at 1115, and was not even seated at a table until 1230. Despite booking for a full set with gel polish and a design, the person they had doing my nails originally said they couldnt even do the french tip part of it. When the second person came over to finish the design they did the sloppiest linework I have ever seen and only after they'd done the whole hand did they say the design I wanted was "impossible to paint" and "clearly a sticker". When I asked for a simple line following the curve but not touching the tip color they gave me a sloppy, uneven line that absolutely did not match the second picture I provided. They then tried to rush me out the door before my top coat could fully cure. I paid $80 for the worst manicure I've had in years from anyone, and for the simplest design I've asked for in that time frame as well. I left after paying because I needed to go pick my husband up from work, and I foolishly hoped that the design would grow on me. When I called back to ask for a partial refund they told me absolutely not and that I could come in for them to "fix" it, but if they couldn't even draw a simple line there is 0 chance of me letting them touch my nails again. read more

I have been to every nail salon in the belleville area, and this is by far the best one. I can't say enough good things about Andy. I showed him a picture of dip ombré nails I wanted, and he did them perfectly! Took his time, and also fixed the shape of each nail if I thought it was a little off from the others. Great prices on manicures and pedicures! All of the employees do such a wonderful job, you will always be in good hands. Went in today for the first time after hearing good reviews with dip, long coffin nails, marbling, etc. So I assumed they could do a simple shellac white tip full set.. I told the lady multiple times that the white was too big, I wanted them smaller. ( I also let her know that I was okay if the line from the tip slightly showed.) She tried to fix it once and just kept reassuring me they looked fine. I am not happy with how they look. She didn't trim my cuticles, left white shellac on my fingertips, and overall wouldn't help me get the look I wanted. Then changed the original price on 2 tiny rhinestones I wanted. If there was an opportunity to leave zero stars or a negative review, I would. I've been going to this establishment along with my Husband for 3 years. Never have I EVER experienced what I experienced today, Thursday, June 3, 2021. I made appointments for my 12 & 14 year old daughters and was beyond livid when they both sent pics of their toes. I felt comfortable enough to leave them initially because it was always a warm and welcoming environment. What we experienced today was truly unbelievable! I told my daughters to have the nail tech clean up the excess polish on their toes and one had the temerity to say to one of my daughters that she was being too picky. I returned to have a conversation with the owner who shared that she fixed my daughters toes twice and that she was being too picky. I advised the owner to never talk to my daughter that way and to be cognizant of the fact that she was not only a child but a paying customer and that she deserves to be respected and satisfied! I understand that racism is beyond rampant in this day and age, but don't attempt to disrespect or disregard young girls because they are of color. As I was attempting to speak with the owner, she turned away and said that I would not allow her to speak. Which was further from the truth because I was still pointing out the details on both girls. The owner turned her head, walked away and attempted to work on her customer. Had I not spoke about respect and good customer service, she would've continued to disregard me. This experience was racist, disrespectful and rude beyond comprehension. My Husband and I were literally just there yesterday and we tip quite well. We will NOT support this establishment again and if you're of color, be mindful of how quickly the tables will turn if you're not satisfied with the services. People of color have a voice and if they are not satisfied with services provided, they have a right to speak up for themselves. This was a teachable moment on so many levels and speaks volumes to how young girls and women of color are viewed by other races. They say you get what you pay for but I'm not paying for blood-borne pathogens. Also the place was not clean, dust and grime on everything. And ZERO ventilation, so many chemical/fumes sitting stagnant in the air...I wouldn't recommend lighting your cigarette anywhere near this place. Those with asthma beware! I have been coming to this place for my eyebrow wax for probably 10 years. I'm usual in and out within 5 to 10 mins. They are quick and efficient and the price is great. I love the way they do my eyebrows and I refuse to go anywhere else. Taylor is fantastic at shaping. I always get complimented on my eyebrows. If I were just going off the finished product of waxing alone I'd give them a 5. The reason it's a 4 is because the wax room needs some deep cleaning and updating. I noticed right away that she was using a nail file that had not been cleaned previously, I asked her about it and she told me that they use the same one on people. I did ask her to get a clean one and she went in the back and got a different one so I assumed it was a clean one but I'm not sure. Also, the tools that she used on my nails were not in a sealed bag. The bag was already open when I got there, so I'm not sure if she used those on someone else before me. She seemed very lax about it when she said they use the same file on people, and even seemed annoyed that I asked for a clean one. And she ended up with the asshole. He got mad because her hands weren't dry enough after washing, then got made because he ASSUMED she wanted French tip then got mad when she wanted color and made her bleed. I have been going to Belle nails for a year and a half. My experience has been that they do an excellent job on Pedicures for a very good price! I paid $50.00 for a pedicure at a local salon and it could not compare to the Pedicure that Belle nails give, for half the price. They have always been pleasant.
