I came in to have them work on one of my tires. Later when I took my car to the dealer and they told me that they couldn't rotate my tires because one of the studs and lug nuts had been broken by whomever worked on the tire before, which was this Belle Tire location. You would think that a well known tire store would know better than to break the stud and lug nuts, or if they did on accident, they'd fix it right then and there. But, they let me drive away. Had that fallen off at highway speeds it would've been VERY dangerous for anyone on the road. Thankfully when I went back they repaired it and fixed an issue while they were at it. read more

To preface my remarks, I want to say I've been dealing with this Belle Tire location since moving to Sterling Heights over 25 years ago. Bought new tires, with balance, to replace the POS OEM tires on my car. Price for the new tires was fine especially with the $100 discount for getting a Belle Tire credit card. Tires were not in stock at the store, but they got them in a couple hours. I was told there was an additional $50 discount from the manufacturer, but when it came time to pay I was told that was a mistake. Not a real big deal since the price was reasonable with the $100 off - but still irritating. This is where the good stuff ends. As I was driving home there was a loud 'CLUNK' from the rear. Went back and had things checked out and was told everything was OK - and it seemed that way until I noticed an irritating vibration that was occurring at various speeds - but wasn't a regular vibration as would be experienced with a single out of balance tire. I took the car to a different shop to have it checked and it turns out that 2 of the 4 tires were out of balance and the lug nuts on one wheel weren't tightened properly (this is AFTER Belle Tire said they had removed and remounted all four on my initial return to have the clunk noise checked out). Also, when Belle Tire did the balance they didn't remove the old weights, just added more after the new tires were mounted. Proper procedure is to remove old weights and start from scratch. Also noticed one of the original valve stems (and TPMS sensors?) was replaced when the new tires were put on but nothing was mentioned to me about it at any time. (Only 7000 miles on the car so the only reason for that would be damage when the new tires were mounted.) Bottom line, this is very likely the last time I'll be going to this shop. Between the 'confusion' on the price, poor balancing, improper mounting, and questionable replacement of a valve stem/TPMS sensor I've lost all confidence in having quality work done at this location. Took my 2007 Corvette for new tires at the Van Dyke Shelby Twp location. A day later I was losing air in one of the tires. Brought it back in and was told they could not get to it since they had "NEW" customers to take care of. It may take hours to even look at. I then called the Macomb location on Hall rd. Gary, an advisor, told me if I could come in right away he would take care of my car. He was polite and efficient, took 1/2 hour to get me complete. When I got home I read reviews of the Van Dyke location and they were not very good. Glad you have individuals like Gary, who took care of me to try to uphold your reputation. I am currently looking for tires on another vehicle and am wondering whether it makes sense to give your company the business, when your normal business practices are to avoid taking care of issues quickly and without putting a paying customer on the back burner. read more

Man this place got all types of negative reviews for a reason lol my experience is nothing compared to the rest of these but I want to tell it lol I went up there just to get some air in my tires. If you've been in Michigan for the winter then you will know that it has been stupid cold for the last month or so, especially today in the negatives. I fill up 3 of my tires and by this time my hands were frozen. I couldn't grip my tire cap on my fourth one because my hands were so cold. So I thought since Belle tire offers "customer service" I would go in there and see if someone could help. I saw 4 grown men laughing and doing nothing behind the counter with an empty lobby. So I had high hopes. As soon as I walked in they all just stared at me. No greeting , no hellos, nothing lol should've been the first red flag for me as a woman walking in there by myself. So I went up there as one of them just stared me down (by the sounds of these comments, it was probably John or Todd) and I asked him if one of them could help me take the tire cap off my last tire because my hands were so cold. This man looked at me and said "No" and that's it lol and just continued staring at me. I just looked surprised and then he continued by saying that my tire cap was corroded and they would need to cut it off. How in the world did he come to that conclusion when the man didn't even come out and look?! All I asked for is a little help since my fingers couldn't grip the cap because I was freezing. But I guess that was too much for them grown men up in there lol so I just left awkwardly as he stared at me as I left. Very creepy. Took it down the street to my oil shop and they took it off no problem and filled my tire. If you didn't get the memo from the other comments, DONT GO HERE, ESPECIALLY IF YOURE A WOMAN GOING ALONE. On a SaTuesday at 3:10pm, this is the 4th Belle Tire store I came to for a slow leak driving home and TIMS light coming on. The first 3 stores said they could not help since they close at 5pm. I called this Van Dyke store and John said they would take me in after telling him the first 3 stores said no. This store has great service. I am a Belle Tire buyer, and have bought my tires from Belle Tire before. Although not all stores are this receptive, this Van Dyke one is one of the best. On 05.24.2021, I bought four michelin defender LXT M/S tires for my truck from Belle Tire Store 32699 Van Dyke Ave, Warren, MI 48093. I made this purchase and the tire shop gave me old sets of TWO years old four tires. Which is years expired was manufactured in 2019. I've paid $1111.60 dollars for new tires and they gave me old tires. None of my tires Match the manufacture date according to the paperwork. I paid for brand new tires and Robert Pelker got me two years old tires. And refusing to replace with the new ones he told me that the tires made in 2019 are still new in 2021. Wow. What a rip off! Went in to get a tire and was told they do not have the cheaper tire I was looking for, spent most of my time trying to get me to finance for 4 tires. Told me the cheaper tire was likely not going to be sold at any belle tires anymore also. The assistant manager "helping me" was very unhelpful and lacked even fake empathy or understanding. had my car there Sterling Heights store for new tires. the problem is that they told me the alignment could not be done due to bad front control arms and bushing. I thought something was wrong with this information and they wanted to charge me around $600 - $700 to fix it. they already had the new tires on and off the rack so they did not even show me the controls arm issues. they didn't know I just had a safety inspection done by the dealer where I bought the used car. So, just to be sure I took the car to another place who told me there was nothing wrong. funny thing is I took the same car to another Belle Tire location told them the story and they check and said nothing was wrong and did the alignment with no problems. just be very careful if you visit the Sterling Heights store for tires. if they advise if mechanical issue I would get it checked by your mechanic that you trust. 2 stars because they put the new tires on. if it wasn't for that it would be 0 stars. read more

Had a 9am appointment for just a alignment and been sitting here for almost two hours. An alignment should only take one hour. What's the point of making a appointment. I watched my car sit in the parking lot for at least a hour before they even touched it. I even walked in at 9am and seen three other people sitting in the lobby and they are all gone now and I'm still sitting here. This establishment use to be good now I see have have to go further north to get better service. If people want to still come here that's cold but I wouldn't advise on making a appointment. My latest experience - the tires I had bought from them were crazy reliant so that when the tire had a 1-2 psi difference, I got suspicious. You will be ripped off by ROBERT L. GRAY or EYAD RAMOUNI. They suggest work that isn't needed and Robert will lie and tell you calipers get replaced in pairs. Brought my car in to get the brakes inspected and they told me I needed calipers and they both needed to fixed because they get fixed in pairs and were malfunctioning. I own a 2014 edge with 69k miles on it. I worked as a service advisor at a ford dealer for 4 years and recommended plenty of brake jobs/repairs. First off, calipers typically don't need to be fixed at 69k miles. its very rare. 2nd off the guy that clearly thinks they get repaired shouldn't be advising people on there car needs if it cant explain what's needed and why. I asked to also speak to the Manager at this location and he didn't really care about the situation and was very defensive as soon as I started asking questions. Clearly he knows what's going on or he wouldn't be so defensive and would have looked into it while the car was there. He lost a sale and didn't do anything once I called him out to save it. Sounds like he doesn't care about his job or performance of his employees. After this, I took the car to Suburban Ford and had my brakes fixed for 200 dollars cheaper than what belle quoted me along with a brake flush and coolant flush. Saved my money off the part and labor upcharge at belle tire for unneeded work. Wanting to save money is important to me just like anyone else and that's why I came here to start but I recommended everyone to run for this location and get a 2nd look on any work recommended here. WARNING TO CUSTOMERS AVOID THIS BELLE TIRE I BELIEVE THEY DISCRIMINATE I was looking to get an inspection for my vehicle. Belle Tire is my ONLY option according to Lyft! I'm just a middle class guy trying to make some extra money driving for Lyft . Lyft says to call prior to going to Belle Tire to make an appointment. I have been using BT for my tire and automotive needs since 1985. Asst. Manager Andrew M. Gavorin informed me BT does not honor automotive warranties and I would have to seek reimbursement for any repairs. Only after contacting BT's Corporate Office was my warranty honored. After my car was repaired he never called to notify me and he was very short with me and my warranty company. I understand the warranty process takes more time this is where Customer Service can shine. I represent 6 cars and 30 years of using Belle Tire for my family and I tire needs. I stopped in the location at 32699 Van Dyke this morning to have a tire pressure monitor replaced. In addition, I asked to have an inspection done on my suspension since I can hear there are some issues going on. Rob P. checked the vehicle history and said "We have done inspections in the past on this vehicle, have those repairs been done?" I replied "yes about 3 years ago." He replied to me "The last inspection was done in 2020. We have done inspections on this vehicle, but we have not done the work. People do not usually have inspections done on their vehicle at places where they won't have the work done." I asked him "isn't there an inspection fee?" and he has yet to answer that question. This encounter has me considering taking my business elsewhere. If he checked the history further, he will see the numerous sets of tires that I have purchased for at least 3 vehicles. He will also see numerous repairs from suspension to rack and pinion dating back years. This was unprofessional and does not represent the previous positive encounters I have had at this location. I am not looking for a free inspection; I know that inspections cost, but to basically force me to get work done with you did not leave me feeling good about this visit. People shop for work to be done all of the time; what makes this different? Belle Tire gets pricey sometimes, so shopping for an affordable price is not unheard of. Not a great visit.
