Their hazard insurance/certificate is a great value with pothole season upon us. My dashboard was continuously indicating one tire was experiencing low pressure even after adding air a couple times and another tire had a visible bulge on it. The Discount Tire team work on a rotation at the service counter. On my recent visit, I had the pleasure of getting the Service Assistant Manager, Tyler Baur. He indicated the bulge was most likely caused by hitting a pothole and the bulge was the indication of what was happening inside the tire. He got my other tire looked at and they determined there was a small piece of metal causing a slow leak that they were able to remove. My hazard certificate took care of replacing the other tire with the bulge. So, I received a $180 tire replacement plus a repair of the other for me to be out the door for less than $34. I'm confident and pleased that my tires are in a good and safe condition for the road. Thank you Tyler and Discount Tire!

It was dropped off at 7:30am and was pleasantly surprised by a 11:30 pick-up call. Bill's quote for a starter RR was about $450, being a very good price as it would have been several hundred dollars more from a RV center and would be several weeks before they could get to it. The kicker being that it didn't need a starter after all, it was just a wire from starter to relay that need to be replaced, saving me hundreds of dollars more. They looked up the price and it would cost $169. Before they purchased it from the dealership, they asked if we approved of that cost. We said ok based on that price. When we got finalized invoice the part that they said was $169 was being charged to us for $273. That is an approx 61% markup. Which is outside of a reasonable range, and was not communicated when we were ordering the part. It took 1 hour and 5 minutes to replace the motor and cost $169.99 for labor. Total invoice was $460. This is over the average cost I researched online by $100. Not sure this is a reasonable place to get your car repaired. Make sure you document the prices you discuss. If you are too trusting, it will backfire.
