The manager was very nice and accommodating. Kim is a gem that pays attention to detail with cuticles. Overall inside was dirty - the chairs need to be wiped down and the tables between were grimy. There is a thick dust looming over the wine rack. I hope they sanitize their clippers bc I didn't see any of them coming out of sanitized bags. She kept laying them on the grimy table, not on a tray where it was clean. For those reasons I won't return. read more

Ugh-very crusty. The whole please needs a good cleaning-the chairs were all a bit grimy, the tables between the pedicure chairs were really gross, I didn't want to touch anything. The chair massage controller was so tied to the chair....worn and dirty. They burn you with the paraffin wax, even after you told them it's too hot. I got to the point where i had to yell bc it was too hot. They dont tell you prices for nails upfront and upcharge everything and your nails end up looking a mess. When you try to talk to the manager she just repeats herself instead of listening to your complaints. Her excuse for not being transparent about prices was "we get yelled at for telling prices." I am really disappointed with my experience at Belle Vous. I spent 110 dollars on a Dip and pedicure. The two nail technicians that worked on me were very nice but they rushed to the next person and didn't check to see how sloppy the work was. I left with dry cuticles and the color of my dip was not cleaned off. Also, my pedicure color is "pooled" at the cuticle which is nail color 101 "don't do." If it was cheaper I probably would have looked the other way but for a $50 manicure and $46 manicure, this is not good work. read more

I've been going here for over 2 years and most of that time I would have given them 4 stars. However, today's service was inexcusable. My nails were longer than I like so I asked for her to shorten them. Keep in mind I normally keep my nails pretty short and it had only been one week since my last NexGen fill so I only needed a small amount filed off. She proceeded to use dirty clippers to cut both thumbnails so short they are in the quick. Luckily I noticed and stopped her before she did the same thing to the rest of my nails. I've also noticed recently that they are no longer social distancing. They've never used the acrylic screens that most other salons are using. I would like to add that I was rudely asked about my ethnicity by the employees and treated poorly when I let them know I was not the ethnicity they originally perceived me to be. It was extremely uncomfortable and uncalled for. "WHAT ARE YOU?" Also, there was a tall woman in heels constantly coming over to the nail tech doing my pedicure and rushing her. The nail tech did rush and did a horrible job with the nail polish. There are a million nail salons in Dallas and surrounding areas with better customer service and better nail techs. Went in for a dip manicure today. Salon did not appear busy. Asked for Amy the manager to do my nails (she did them last time and they were perfect) but she said Susan would be doing my nails today and she recommended her. I agreed due to not having a scheduled appointment, not a problem. First impressions were not positive...her gloves were not changed from giving a pedicure/manicure from someone else to touching my hands. I pointed out that there was a tear in her gloves and that she should change them, she continued with my nails. I then pointed out the dip was uneven in color and uneven near my cuticles...basically there was going to be a lot of cleanup because it was rushed and dipped very sloppy! By the time she started filing my left hand after final dip, I was bleeding in three areas because she was so rough! The dip was on my skin. I pulled away three times in pain then the manager came over to offer a resolution to put more dip on. All of the tools used on me were dirty and now I had open skin. At this point, I immediately walked out! They was not for me and I felt completely brushed off. I've been coming here for SIX months and never had a bad experience but today I left in tears and went elsewhere to redo my nails. My shape was ruined due to this horrible file job and I had to go much shorter. You lost a loyal customer today! read more

Kim and Chi are a dynamic duo. I really love the TLC! The coordination between us is like a symphony. Hand, feet, machine, chords... it is all done with very few words and a lot of physical cues. I love talking to them about our families, school, or any special events happening. The ambiance is gentle, relaxing, calm... there is music on the PA and TV's to watch also. Lots of staff, drinks are offered, clean bathrooms. I think the prices are competitive and I like making appointments in the Giant book that Amy carries around!!! The scheduling book is literally bigger than Amy, who is always running the front desk even though she is doing countless other busy work. I have learned a lot from Kim and Chi... Dip powder vs gel.... hot rocks, hot wax .... and most of all.... I learned that taking care of my legs, feet, hands, and Spirit is very much as important as any of my pain medication!!! The nail salon is clean and does not smell like your typical nail salon (acetone and acrylic). I met one of my best girl friends there and we got to sit together. I've come back 2 more times since my last review, they have gotten a lot better and more attentive. They don't have a huge color selection and I've noticed it's usually the newer nail techs that don't do as great of a job since they're still gaining experience. Overall they've always had a welcoming salon if I want to just walk in and get my nails done. I'm very happy with the change of attitude/being ran smoothly. They're really good about offering me a drink. The only criticism I have is that the salon should better pay attention to the details that their techs do because customers are a walking billboard. You don't want customers leaving your salon with polish on the cuticles or uneven powder on the nail bed. read more

My friend treated to my first pedicure here (yup, first one...ever)! The salon itself looks pretty elegant. The one thing that bothered me a little was the tight space as they put all their chairs so close to each other--all jammed packed in one elegantly-decorated salon. No privacy. Patrons staring at each other and listening to each others' conversations. Awkward. But anyway, we got the "Happy Combo" pedicure ($63). It included: soaking your nails & special blend of oils before trim, shape, exfoliate skin with a sea salt scrub, cooling gel followed by a steam towel, massage, and buff. Polish on request. They even used heating rocks to massage your feet. It felt awesome! Mimosas were complimentary during our treatment. Service was really friendly, but there was a bit of a language barrier as my technician didn't speak too much English. Luckily, my friend's technician did so he was able to help translate for both of us. Being my first pedicure my feet was not in the best condition. My tech peeled, clipped, buffed, polished all that junk off my feet and did not get disgusted one bit. She must be use to it. I was impressed. Oh, and each spa chair is covered with plastic wrap that they throw away after each use when water gets drained. No worries of other people's foot germs from previous treatment. I wouldn't mind coming back to try a manicure next time! Prices here are a little pricier than some places I've seen, but it's rare I find a salon I like so ....I plan to come back here for my mani/pedi needs for now. I was a regular. Unfortunately the place has gotten lax on sanitation. I got a toenail fungus. My daughter got an infection in her big toe. I didn't put the two together until my friend went there and asked me if I noticed how dirty it was. It's taken a few months to clear up the fungus. Gross. It's time to clean up the shop. read more
