I paid for parking, since it was unclear whether the spots behind the building were available for customers to use. I am a visual artist and have severe "lazy eye" which makes it hard for me to focus both eyes together. As a senior person, I have also developed a retinal condition causing me to see shadow doubles of the edges if things - making it hard to read and drive. Although I have seen opthalmologists before, they did not recognize the complexity of my eyesight the way Dr. Gindorf has been able to, assuring I gave the best possible coreective lenses. I opted for standard lenses. With these standard lens I did not need laser surgery to adjust the quality of my vision. I had some luck that I achieved this quality of restored vision. I add that Dr. Scott Kirk provided Radial Keratotomy in the summer of 1996. Although this is an dated surgery, anyone with a past RK should consider cataract surgery at the Kirk Eye Center because they provide light adjustable lenses for patients who seek greater likely outcome for seeing 2020 and that LASIK is not recommended for patients with past RK experience. Also, since I have had decades of eye care at K.E.C. River Forest, IL, I am certain that I'll continue to have great health care at their facility, here, I am met with a well organized staff capable of delivering care. I would like to add that they have added to ther staff young talented ophthalmologist and I hope they consider advancing to eye surgery.
