I had the task of getting my elderly father out to be fitted for glasses for the first time in years. But due to his mobility issues, hearing loss and personality changes from dementia, even the simplest tasks require major effort and the patience of all involved. Because of his mood issues I hadn't made an appointment for fear I'd just end of breaking it. I called the same day, embarrassed, but they were able to see him. His frustrations with his limitations often make him not very nice. For nearly 30 years Dr Skowron had been our eye doctor. You can check all the other reviews about the technology he has invested in and the care he provides - you don't need me to repeat what's already been written. But, I will provide a quick story. My wife could not get her contact out and was afraid that she would damage her eye if she continued to pry it out. This was going on at 9:30pm on a Friday night. She wanted to leave a message for Dr. Skowron, but the Dr. S picks up the phone and told her to meet him at his office at 10pm. Are you serious? Who does that anymore? Only one heck of a caring medical professional. We were blown away by his compassion and consideration. Needless to say we highly recommend Skowron Eye Care. read more

Great place. Been coming here for about 4 years. All of the optometrists are friendly, have a nice sense of humor and very thorough in their exams. All of the staff are nice and helpful. They have a pretty moderate selection of glasses . Enough styles for you to pick out the perfect pair in the perfect price range. I've had three optometrists at Skowron eye care and all have been excellent. MY most recent experience was with Dr. Stiller who nailed a difficult prescription for progressive and reading glasses. I had a vitrectomy in August for a puckered retina and went to Costco for new glasses in late September. The first Costco optometrist got it all wrong. The second did well on the progressive lenses but not on the reading glasses. I went for my checkup to Dr. Stiller at Skowron and she nailed both prescriptions and evaluated my incorrectly prescribed glasses from Costco. It is wonderful to finally have glasses I can see out of although my left eye with the puckered retina will never be perfect. I highly recommend Skowron Eye Care. read more

If you enjoy clerks with an attitude and disrespectful, then this is for you. Daisy especially wins the award for unprofessionalism. While the doctors are probably good, don't go at the end of the day, the clerks will rush you out because they close promptly so you probably have to come several times.
