Had to use our cell phone wifi most of the time and when in our room .. had issues getting my emails since i have to use a VPN for work and seems to be blocked from using on the hotels wifi.. Tuna Niçoise salad and salmon cooked well done over potatoes with a special pickled onion and zucchini relish. The vinaigrette on the salad was perfect lemony with no oil just how I like it. Salmon was also cooked perfectly and laid over a mash potato bed. Will definitely return. read more

The only downside is if you wish to try the spa you really need to try to book it when you book your stay. The front desk person we talked to at the spa was less than friendly so we ended up glad we couldn't book a service. But overall if we were in the area we would book here again. read more

4-stars. Almost everything was perfect. The location is great even walkable to downtown Bellevue on nice days. They have large rooms. You get access to the entirety of the Bellevue Club and the gym areas, pools, tennis, indoor courts, pickleball, and the steam/saunas. This place has great service. Friendly people and just top notch amenities. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable. The 1-star knock down is the noise level of the lower level rooms. We were on the second floor literally right at the Valet entrance. We heard every car. Every conversation. Everyone waiting for their vehicle. Every everything. Definitely ask for a higher floor room away from the entrances. Otherwise we enjoyed the hotel and club. The gym is super nice. Everything you could want. We ate at a couple of the restaurants on property too also great. Having a free car service to and from downtown was a nice perk as well. There's a great coffee / smoothie bar here too. Had a phenomenal first time experience at The Bellevue Hotel. I was given this amazing gift for Christmas an over night stay and an hour massage. The hotel was absolutely incredibly all of the staffing was so nice and helpful and just about everything you can think of to do. Full size basketball court, tennis court, gym, library, spa, child care, pickleball and so much more!! The hotel room was so nice, clean, double door balcony for fresh air, mini fridge, large beautiful bathroom and more. The massage was ooooh so amazing! For a pleasant stay with friendly hospitality , refreshing surroundings, and rooms with a homey and positive energy, this hotel has it all. While not club members, they offer their numerous amenities for us as well. Location is also very convenient and away from major traffic areas. Rooms are spacious with plenty of bathroom area. My review is from the first floor room 113. I was super torn between a 3 and 4 stars simply because the room number. Great hotel. Nice amenities. Gym access and bar/restaurant were better than expected. The included breakfast and wine/cheese hour are great. I would recommend staying on the second floor or not room 113 asit was very loud between being right by valet parking and apparently below some sort of workroom. I went to the second floor to determine noise source and it is some sort of employee/workroom that is constant noise (slamming doors, running water, dragging furniture). For two nights it was tolerated but used a portable white noise machine. I would stay here again in another, preferably second floor, room. Used the gym around 7am and it wasn't too crowded. Took advantage of the cold breakfast (6am-10am) and wine and cheese hours (4pm/ -6pm). Very nice. Polaris bar was also right up my alley. read more

This hotel is beautiful and the large doors leading to the balcony made for some amazing photos. Spent the night here after my wedding and we got some awesome photos in front of the hotel and on our balcony. I would say the only down side is room service closes early. Check out is late which was AWESOME. Felt good to not be in a rush and just get to enjoy sleeping in and having a coffee. The Alexa in the room is a great touch. The gentlemen at the valet even moved some cars for us to get the best shots including both the hotel and the landscaping. Loved that the hotel was so close to downtown but felt so much more private and less busy. read more

Don't come here. I am currently writing this review in room 316, the room smells like cigarettes. Why does the room smell like cigarettes? Apparently we are above a smoke zone and the window was open and now the room smells this way. Was this our fault? No. Did the hotel help resolve for us? No. The room has been smelling like this for over two hours, I've called the front desk and nothing has been done. Brainless chimps at the front desk, don't bother trying to explains things to them. Facility is old and if you ever stayed at anything similar to a Hyatt or W, then this place will dissapoint as it can't compare. If you are coming from a La Quinta, then sure you'll be impressed. Stayed for a few nights with work and the facilities are great. We had the conference rooms and service was quick once you pressed a button, but they could not control the room temperature, which was quite cold. Rooms were great, but have 100 light switches, which confused a coworker to the point where she just unscrewed them. The gym was great, but they need better signage to let you know there are other options on other floors. Elevator is super slow, and the stairs let you out so far from the lobby that taking them confused anyone who tried. read more

I found all the reviews of this hotel so interesting, how they were all either dismal or stellar with little in between. Odd, and interesting. All I can provide is my personal experience, and it was stellar. I was lucky enough to snag an amazing Expedia deal for one night at this hotel. Even though I know the Eastside very, very well, I had never heard of this hotel and I couldn't even place its location in my mind. As an Expedia VIP member, a few days prior to my trip to Bellevue, I got an email notification that I was upgraded to a bigger room and my valet parking would be free (yeah! It's usually $12 or so extra per night). I had already thought I was getting a great deal with late check-in and $25 dinner or dessert credit and $15 breakfast credit and full use of the gym facilities (which were shockingly amazing. But more on that later). I did end up getting here late as there is a lot of construction in the area due to the light rail preparation and excavations prevalent in south Bellevue and elsewhere. (Note: to best access this hotel, just drive south on 112th Ave. NE from NE 8th Street). The check-in lady was super nice and the room we got was gorgeous, complete with a private patio (very Tuscany-like in its aesthetics) and a fabulous bathroom (glass-enclosed water shower, nice plush robes, high end spa lotions and potions and shampoos, separate room with toilet, even a good scale). Our bed was super comfortable, lots of storage in the dresser and closet for our clothes, great tv. We walked around the hotel. There was an adult's only library with lots of leather armchairs and reading nooks. There were a few lounge areas with plush chairs and sofas and tables to hang out and relax or wait for friends; one large lounge area was by a swanky bar area and there were intimate tables to dine here or have a snack and/or drink. A wedding reception was taking place in one of the event halls/rooms while we were there and it was rather....vibrant and rambunctious, with lots of loud Middle Eastern music and men and women in beautiful formal wear dancing and singing (the upbeat and festive mood was contagious. All of us in the hotel and the employees were all in a good mood, smiling, happy being around like people and celebrants of a happy wedding). My kid and I passed the gym facilities, inside and outside the hotel. The exterior pool was gorgeous, as was the surrounding patio. The inside pool defied words: it was really like 3 pools in one, Olympic-sized, pristine, in a huge, cavernous room full of light. I cannot impress how amazing this pool room is. Worthy of a 5-star swanky athletic club (which, I later found out, this place IS: a swanky athletic club!). The basketball court room was equally gorgeous, with a few courts, looking like new, with a suspended walking track above for walkers or joggers. There are also tennis courts here and racquetball courts. WOW. (There might also have been a work-out/weight room but I did not see it). My kid and I used our dinner credit late that night in the larger lounge area adjacent to the bar (my kid's a minor so we couldn't go into the bar proper). It worked out for the better as we loved this lounge and it's comfy, intimate tables! We were practically alone, too, as it was later at night. Our server was so nice. The menu was quite varied, with appetizers and desserts and, of course, drinks. We had coffees and teas, a veggie plate with pita and hummus, and a vanilla creme brule. The hummus was one of the best we've ever had (we were told it was made fresh in the hotel). Excellent late night snack! Our breakfast the next morning was in the "Splash" restaurant overlooking the huge pool room. We ordered a traditional eggs and bacon and hash brown meal to share. It was good and fresh and regular "comfort food": nothing special, nothing fancy, but good. The bacon was the one meal component that was better than good; it was excellent. Little things that made our stay extra nice: smooth and surprise-free check-in and check-out process; very friendly hotel staff, from the front counter staff to the housekeepers to the servers in the lounge and restaurant to the valets. Everyone always smiled at us and said hi and wished us a great day; the free fruit-infused water and apples available at the front counter, and the delicious citrus hard candies outside by the valet kiosk; free daily Seattle Times paper; complimentary toothbrushes if you forget yours at home; and, the complimentary shuttle that will bring you to Bellevue Square or Lincoln Square or anywhere in the area. (I thought this would be a title van or shuttle bus, to transport a bunch of people. But no, they have new high-end black SUVs that will transport only you and your party to your Bellevue destination - and back. WOW). I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this place again. What a great, well-run, little boutique hotel. The staff here is very friendly from the guys in valet to the people in catering. I came and stayed here for a wedding and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I did have friends raid the minibar and stuff taken were moderately priced. She told us the restaurant nearby and inside hotel as well. The room was clean and great. They have shuttle available to take you to shopping and restaurants so you don't have to drive. We were a bit tired and so hungry after shopping, therefore, we decided to stay in hotel for dinner. Honestly, the food just below average and steak wasn't good. But, we expected. Our family hAve been coming to this hotel for last four years(two years ago we couldnt due to covid). Every visit here were good. We always come on sat to sun just over night since we live in seattle. Our family come here for birthday celebration. This time it was my birthday. They usually have chocolate with wine in the room for complimentary but this time my wife forgot to mention bout my birthday. As she asked the front desk he said they cant do it ... not sure bc its of inflation thats been going around... but at least they couldv done something... and at the splash the next morning we usually drink mimosa... but they were out of sparking wine... and their splash dinner menu gone down the hill... even server think that way as well... a burger is a size of a kids burger... and cost is more expensive.. i guess inflation is hurting alot of business. One good note is the server!! Not sure her name but she actually remembered us from last oct for my son birthday! And the next morning she remembered our room number. If she wasnt our server then this whole trip wouldv been... sad. Also one note. Manager for the hotel is very intimating standing next to the worker. No hello, how r u. Just look pissed off... every timr we go... and hes a manager.. mm.. hopefully next time we go this all be fixed! read more

One of my favorite hotels to stay at!! It's been a little over a year since I stayed here, and I keep thinking I need to make my way back. I was going to be in Seattle, and was trying to figure out where to stay. I was attending a hospitality management school, when we had a guest speaker come speak to our class. She was the sales and marketing manager for Hotel Bellevue. At the end of her talk, she gave out her business card, and I emailed her to say that I would be in Seattle. She offered me a discount to stay at Hotel Bellevue. Even though I wouldn't be in Seattle, Bellevue is only a 15 minute drive away...so I took her up on her offer. Let me tell you, even at full price, this place is totally worth it!! The staff was friendly and attentive! When I walked up to the front desk to check in, I was offered a complimentary bottle of water. The hotel has a luxurious feel to it, from the lobby to the room. There is a full workout facility with 2 olympic sized pools, basketball, racquetball and tennis courts. As a hotel guest, you are given access to Club Bellevue, and I took full advantage of it! I played racquetball here, but next time I am taking my tennis gear! Upon arrival, in my room was a bottle of wine with a card from the Sales and Marketing manager. What a lovely gesture! There was a great little book in the room of luxurious hotels around the world, Hotel Bellevue was naturally listed in it. I loved reading about other luxurious hotels that I would like to stay in, someday. During check-out, I asked the gal at the front desk where I could get a copy, she said I could have the one in the room! How awesome is that?? We dined at their fine dining restaurant Polaris in the evening, and it was delicious. We received a complimentary appetizer. For breakfast, we dined at Splash, a more casual atmosphere. So on paper this hotel looks great--4 restaurants, yoga classes, 2 pools, etc. But it wasn't really that great. The food and service at Splashes were both terrible. The hostess couldn't answer any questions we had about when happy hour was or what the breakfast hours were, etc. The food was greasy and cheap tasting. Super disappointing. The outdoor pool area is great if you have kids and like noise. But I was there to lounge and read-- not easy with kids screaming the whole time (both days). But that is because I like peace and quiet and relaxing. If you have kids you might love the atmosphere. As for the room, we had a nice ground floor room with an outdoor patio area. Unfortunately the chairs are very uncomfortable and do not have the cushions as pictured above so they poke you in the back. Super annoying. Also the TV is not facing the bed really so we had to turn it on an angle each night so we could see it. And there are no shower caps in the washroom. This is a pet peeve of mine. They are cheap and I think they should be a part of what is offered in all hotel bathrooms. So what's nice about this place? Valet is cheaper than self parking ($8 vs $12). Yoga classes are included if you can wake up early enough to catch them. And the food at the bar (Cosmos) was really good. I'm pretty picky with hotels though and so I would not stay here again. read more

Hotel Bellevue is an oasis tucked away near downtown Bellevue; one you wouldn't know existed unless you've made a point of going there. My check-in started with a bit of a hiccup. Check-in started at 3, however when I arrived at 3:15 the room wasn't read. I had to wait for nearly an hour before my room was available. Not going to lie, I was highly annoyed by this. However, the hotel gave me a $50 credit for my troubles. I really appreciated their attempt to make it right. Amenities: While I didn't use any of the athletic amenities, I was thoroughly impressed with the huge gym that was available for guests to enjoy. As a guest of Hotel Bellevue, you are given access to ALL amenities that club members enjoy.This is really quite a bargain. If you're the type of traveler who always checks to ensure a hotel has a gym, you'll want to stay at Hotel Bellevue. Room: I booked a Premium King room. Though the decor seemed outdated, I didn't mind because it was very spacious and extremely clean. Oh, and the bed? Super comfortable! I could've stayed in bed all day. Housekeeping is top-notch. Room service is top-notch. I order a late afternoon meal followed by breakfast the next morning and my food was superb! Bonus: It's obvious that this hotel prides itself on creating an atmosphere heavily focused on customer delight. My favorite perk of staying at Hotel Bellevue is the access to rides in the hotel's BMW to go into downtown Bellevue. I was told that I could go out for a night on the town (in Bellevue) and even if I wanted to be picked up at 2 in the morning, that they would happily do that. What?! Awesome, right? Instead, the driver took me to Whole Foods so I could grab dinner for the night. Such a nice touch. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with Hotel Bellevue and its staff. I would love to stay here again. and if you're looking for a hotel that is close to downtown Bellevue but not directly in the hustle and bustle of downtown crowds, Hotel Bellevue is for you. read more

[ballroom review] We came here for a wedding reception a few weeks ago and boy, was it nice! Apparently after all those years working in downtown Bellevue, I had no idea this place existed. I had seen a huge gym-looking thing near the trees while driving around the area, but who knew it was a hotel too? Anyway, the ballroom fit about 200 people and it was nice, the sound system was good, and they even fit a photo booth in the common living area. I'm sure other hotel guests were bothered by the constant entering and exiting of random wedding guests, but there wasn't any other place to have drinks, photos, etc. The food was just OK, I've definitely had better, but I really liked the atmosphere of the reception and how the dance floor was big enough for a large group of people to dance. Because the reception was wine and beer only, it was difficult for guests to order liquor because we had to go into the other room where the restaurant was located. Apparently the Bellevue Club is super elite and only rich people go here... therefore the bartenders are a bit condescending towards you when don't order whisky on the rocks or something. I'll admit, we were a bit out of place ordering shots with juice backs, what do you expect from a Korean wedding? When we're hanging out with college friends at someone's wedding, of course you're going to try and relive those days a bit! Nevertheless, we had a good time and didn't get bogged down by the other hotel guests or the trouble of going to the other bar for drinks. read more

The staff is so nice here and the rooms are very clean. If you do not like loud noise, reserve a room on the opposite side of the hotel from the tennis courts. Otherwise, you will be woken up to the sound of wacking tennis balls at 6 am. I like that they also have a town car and will take you anywhere within 2 miles of the hotel. read more

I stayed two days at this establishment, they were wonderful and very accommodating! The atmosphere was beautiful the trees changing color in the fall, water fall at the entrance , friendly staff. They have food and drink options on the property, which is mighty convenient! I highly recommend for getaways with your lover or even a solo self love trip. Just for character purposes I would like to note that we did experience a few minor inconveniences during our stay but due to their level of hospitality I am pleased to say they always did what was best for their customer and took care of our needs EXTREMELY well. My wife and I stayed there, and we had a serious issue occur, along with minor inconvenience here or there. I approached management about the problem, and they failed to respond for a week. HOWEVER, when they did respond, they REALLY made good on the whole thing. Anywhere you stay at anytime, there can be a problem, they key is always the response. And while it was a little slow incoming, the make-good was very satisfactory, and I am kind of a jerk about these things. Also, if you are into fitness, fit people, fitness related food items, and running despite not being chased by wild animals, this is your spot. There is all kinds of that going here...oh, and Bellevue is a neat little town, with a cool downtown area nearby...a bunch of hippies and stuff, but it IS the west coast, and the Mary Jane IS legal out there... read more

The hotel itself is very nice and well-maintained, and our room was very clean with very comfortable mattresses. We dined at Splash for dinner and breakfast, and the food was decent, and the staff we interacted with were very friendly. However, the attention to detail could have been better. I emailed well in advance of my reservation to request a bottle of champagne (which the front desk staff confirmed) but it was not in the room when we arrived. We also had troubles with the room's "smart" features - namely the Amazon Echo that was supposed to answer common questions. We used, verbatim, the prompts that were listed in the guide and almost every response said to call the front desk for help. When I called the front desk to ask about pool hours, I was transferred to the aquatic center, and after the phone rang 12 times I hung up and we didn't end up getting to swim. I also thought it odd that while I made a reservation for 4 people, there were only 2 robes in the room, 2 bottles of water, and 2 bathroom towels. So this is a little bit of a late review as I stayed here in 2014 but I definitely had to write about my experience. My husband and I ended up staying here on our wedding night. We originally didn't plan on going anywhere since we were planning a honeymoon a few months out. So we ended up with a last minute reservation. Upon arriving, the front desk staff were fast and friendly. I mentioned it was our wedding night, the lady congratulated us and we were on our way. After checking out the room(which was immaculately clean and modern), we went down to the lounge and got some food and drinks. Everything was yummy and the ambiance was really nice. After returning to our room I heard a quick knock at the door (to not disturb us) and when I went out there was a bottle of champagne and a card titled "Mr & Mrs" with a sweet note from the staff. That was a very nice and personal touch. We were able to have a nice quiet night. I really loved the deep bathtub and the beds were super comfy. I enjoyed a fantastic day of tennis here on a corner court with patio, which doubled as the dining area for lunch. It felt a little Gatsby, except these particular hosts killed me with their over-the-top efforts to prove how wonderful they are @ sports, silently asking me to ignore the couple's combined age of 180. Pathetic display of uber-competition, complete with elbow / knee pads, headbands, etc. and a bit of sniffing when I didn't take the bait and game seriously. While biting into the chilled prawns I smiled knowing I may be terrible at tennis, but at least still young enough to not only dine alfresco today and perhaps another thirty years, picking up a racket again when I want to; these poseurs will still be..............dead. read more

This was a very nice hotel. There's a ginormous gym down stairs 2 restaurants and a cafe. It's about a mile from downtown so if you have a car, you're in luck for a day of shopping and fine dinning. The only down side is that there's no coffee maker inside the room. AND the internet connection is pretty bad if you're planning to work and email big files around...big meaning 15mb PPT files. I felt my life was slowly draining out of me as I tried to get an important file out in time. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend the hotel. read more

This place is the absolute best in the area, if not the wide world. The hotel is both functional (free WiFi throughout, plenty of space for casual meetings) and stylish (both common areas and the rooms are very well appointed). Both of the onsite restaurants (Splash, casual and Polaris, fine dining) are superb. However, what sets the Hotel Bellevue apart is the service. You just don't get this type of service at the Hiltons, Sheratons, etc. When I fly into town for business, I drop my bags off, and they are waiting in my room when I come back later in the day. Another great feature for the business traveler is the 1 PM checkout. This makes my day much more productive, when I can attend morning meetings, then come back and check out. Or, catch up on paperwork and check out after lunch. The health club, by all reports, is top notch as well. Hopefully, my schedule will allow me to leverage it one day. This is one of those reviews that I'm somewhat hesitant to publish, because I don't want this place to become too popular. I want to make sure there is always a room available for me! read more

My friend and I checked in for much needed spa vacation and everything was just peeeeeeeeeerfect! Everybody I encountered had beautiful smiles and will-do-attitudes. I starting off by giving this hotel 1 star because i cant give zero. I am basing my review solely on service because i was not able to even see any of the actual property. I had booked a room 2 months in advance but when i tried to check in there was a mix up and they did not have any rooms for us. Although mistakes happen, and this was a huge mistake 100% their fault, it was how they treated us that was most disappointing. It took almost 90 mins for this situation to be resolved. We were given a room at a near by hotel. But offered only anmenties at their hotel. They suggested that after already taking up 90 mins of our time we come back to their hotel for them to treat us to dinner. Once again no consideration of our time or urgency to make us feel a little more appreciated. They did offer us a free night in their hotel in the future. However all this occured on a sat night and the voucher they offered was only good sunday to thursday. Overall this was the most disappointing service i have ever had from any hotel. In comparasion the Hyatt service was prompt and they had our stay as comfortable as possible. My advise if you value your time and high level of service is to avoid this hotel and spend your money at the Hyatt where they seem to live up their 4 diamond rating. 4.5 stars if I could Me and my husband stayed here on our wedding night. Over the phone a week before our wedding I called told them what I was thinking and they offered comp parking and a upgrade because they had no fireplace rooms available. I will take comp anything! I also order rose petal turn down service no problem! Oh and 3 pm check out. We arrive I am still in my wedding dress the front desk is so excited she offers to have a bottle of wine brought to our room. YES! Next my husband goes to see that the valet is tipped, mt being the person I am have to tell her she has food in her teeth , after exclaiming that she ate hours ago she thanks me and offers strawberries and cheesecake,SCORE! The next day we decided to go out for breakfast (the cost was a little crazy for our liking), but the valet gave us good directions also offered to have us driven...we were going to IHOP it just seemed odd to be dropped off in the town car at IHOP in our sweats... Over all the room and stay was great! Also they comped the rose petal turn down.We did not get a chance to visit the gym, we were a busy. Nor did we get a chance to visit the spa but there is always next time. The Pros: * SUPER RESPECTFUL STAFF! *comfy bed * large room * extra pillows already in the room *great water pressure *window opens *quiet location *access to premier fitness facility *cozy bathrobes *honor bar fridge in the room sans the warning not to put your own items in it * internet * eco friendly toiletries The Cons: *no slippers--the floor is cold *no coffee maker in the room *no free bottled water (try $4) *no free do-it-yourself parking * the room had some poorly done touch ups * eco friendly toiletries do not get the hairspray out! I visited this past weekend for a business yearly kickoff event. Overall I found the physical building to be attractive. I found the layout a bit confusing, particularly the "Social Level". Not a huge issue, most hotels have some areas like this. The front desk staff and the front drive staff were truly professional and what I would expect from a hotel of this type. We had mixed experiences in the bar. One night when we arrived late from the airport the staff there were attentive and found a way to get us dinner even though the kitchen would have normally been closed. Great stuff. On another visit, we couldn't get arrested in there. The staff seems to be working hard, but seem more task-oriented than customer-centric at times. On a visit to the Splash restaurant for breakfast, we arrived to find the host talking to other hotel staff. He seemed a little irked to be interrupted. He seated us, dropped a couple of glasses of water and menus on the table and walked away without a word. We then sat for 10 minutes before I Yelped us a nice restaurant in downtown Bellevue for breakfast and we walked out. There were problems with the TV in the guest room, the beds weren't very comfortable, the pillows are flat as mentioned in another review. Never saw a bellman that I know of. I used to be in hotel management (Westin) for many years, and the service at this location definitely wasn't up to snuff. A luxury building and the name "club" on the monument out front don't make a luxury hotel. I don't expect to be treated like I am at the RC at a hotel like this but I sure expect it to be better than the average Marriott. That's what a "luxe" hotel is to me, the people. I dress casually a lot, and not in tennis attire. I, too, may have been profiled. That's too bad, I am a loyal returning guest to businesses that I like and I always over-tip. You can't always judge a book by its cover. And while almost everyone was nice and friendly, the overall stay was "Meh. I've experienced better." read more

We spent a weekend reintroducing relatives to the Seattle/Bellevue area and we needed a base to rest between explorations. Hotel Bellevue filled the bill. It's quiet, comfortable and carries a unique Northwest sensitivity with the wood, stone and fabric of each room reflecting this beautiful corner of the world. While close to downtown Bellevue and freeways, the hotel has none of the associated noise. We relaxed in our rooms with the double doors open to the sunny private patios and slept well with very comfortable beds and blessed quiet around us. Staff were polite and attentive, practiced in helping without hovering. Valets were terrific, helpful and accommodating. We didn't use any of the athletic club facilities, but had we desired, everything was available, spotlessly maintained and comprehensive. This peaceful hotel gives guests access to a state-of-the-art athletic club and three dining options. All are exclusive to hotel guests and club members so guests enjoy this special access. If you want some quality down time in a busy visit to the Seattle area, this is the place for you. Relax, indulge, exercise all in one place. read more

Tell me how the heck this hotel gets a 4/5 review on Yelp, cause I'm not seeing it. 1. They try way too hard to be cool, but it backfires. As one example; There is an odd "Concierge" desk when you first walk in, and not just noticeable to me...but after interaction with the THREE people standing there at 7pm; my wife commented how rude they were; acting as if we should know that this is not checkin and we had to go to the checkin desk which is further thru. I then check in with the one person there. Later I asked what the concierge desk was for from her; and she couldn't really answer except to say it helps guests after they check in. Ok, so we check in. The room is nice looking on the surface but it was obvious as I looked that there is splashed paint when they painted the walls, the shower was really awkward; there was extra parts on the shower head that obviously didn't belong there, but were apparently left there when they switched heads, and it is always a pet peeve of mine when things like the finishes are not well finished...they had this all over the hotel Room. Like the contractor who did thE worked rushed to get out and no one checked (including the splashes paint) The room had a nice lounge chair to sit in, with a blanket, but the room was just too small to put this chair in it, so it felt forced between the bed and wall. It was awkward Well the killer for me is, at 10pm when I pulled my sheets back to get in Bed, my wife and I notice clearly that the sheets had not been changed from the prior guest. There was obviously like black stains on the bed; maybe it looked like someone's makeup that rubbed off of the sheets. Ugh I called down and frankly got no apology, just the concierge tells me that she can send sheets up, since their housekeeping is gone for the night!! I get that housekeeping is gone but what the filth? (Literally). Do you expect me to change the sheets on my bed?? The concierge didn't seem happy with me suggesting I didn't want to have to change my own sheets, and sort of huffed that "she'll figure something out", which resulted in 20 min later a gentleman delivering sheets to my room...trying to hand them to me (again assuming I'm changing my own sheets), which i again said...I'm not changing the sheets in the room, and he nicely offered to do it. Then I get up in the am and check the bill under my door(which I rarely do) and it was a prepaid room...and find that they charged me an extra $21. I called down and asked what this change was and the "concierge" says, did you use the tennis courts? I explained no and said he will "look into it". When I got down stairs, he explained that someone must have charged the wrong room and he fixed the charge. I was in this hotel for less than 12 hours and had a horrible experience. great place and not like most Corporate hotels. I'm a fan of the Fairmont when I come to town but found Bellevue more friendly...more cozy even. If you're a sports enthusiast, the facility is second to none with state of the art tennis, basketball, track and gym. Very awesome indeed! read more

Amazing service. Amazing care. Amazing amenities. We stayed here a couple of nights. Very friendly staff. Very clean and modernly decorated. Kind of hidden and it doesn't look flashy from the outside. I had no idea just how nice and how huge it was until we got inside. The room was clean and freshly decorated with nice french doors that opened onto a balcony. I especially loved the gym that actually had lifting racks and platforms with bumper plates. First time I've seen that in a hotel. A pleasant surprise. The pools were amazing and child care was very convenient and affordable while I worked out. Not the very best I've ever stayed in, but close. Definitely the best gym I have ever seen in a hotel. Given the opportunity, Iwould definitely stay again. read more

We just got back from a three night stay at this hotel. My husband was there for work and this is where he was staying. We enjoyed the customer service here it was 5 star all the way. I am giving four star because we had a few issues in the room but for the most part everything was fine. My kids and I used the car service to get us around and it was so nice, they never had us waiting ( which for a car service I figured we would do some waiting, no problem) anyhow they had no issue using my daughters car seat either. Room service was super yummy and I highly recommend the lemon mango ricotta pancake. Over all we enjoyed our stay. Side note if you stay here you get to use the Bellevue club and we enjoyed the two indoor pools at the club and also the kids corner, where my 21 month old got to play there and I could swim with my 8 year old! read more
