He was set up to take out all of my autistics son's teeth and make dentures. We did all the denture prep. When it was near f the time we had scheduled for the extractions none of the prep was done on his side. The cardiologist was not contacted as told would be done. The insurance issues were not addressed until last min. None of the clearance had been taken care of. My son had a massive heart attack 4 months earlier. At the last minute we did get scheduled with another dentist that took his insurance and knew exactly what to do. He was an oral surgeon. So, teeth were pulled. Dentures did NOT fit then and a yr and a half later. To this day that flop right out. I tried to comunicate by phone calls to Dr Judy without any response from him. I wrote a email and he never replied. He did not communicate with me at all. To this day my son has teeth that was paid for in full without insurance. The teeth are 100% useless. They literally flop out immediately after trying to glue in. During all this time my son does not participate at family dinners at someone's house or a restaurant. He is too embarrassed to take his teeth out and eat in front of others. He will go but just sits in conversation while others enjoy their meal. Once we get home he will sit down and eat. This issue has also made him gain at least 45lbs. He lives on noodle or rice dishes so he can gum the food. Due to his massive heart attack he can't keep carrying this weight. Being autistic through all of this has caused a LOT of mental breakdowns. Drastic change is not good at all. Dr Judy even said during his follow ups that another pair needed to be made. When someone pays out of pocket for a product they pay for a product that works. These DO NOT and can very easily be proven. Dr Judy needs to be professional about this and make it right.

He was so sweet and nurturing (I'm a nervous wreck when it comes to procedures). I've moved back to CA, but still travel to WA for work. My hygienist "calls me in" after my appointment time, which then ensures a later end to my appointment. This is highly inconvenient for my work calendar. - I also don't appreciate being called after other patients who have checked in after I have. This too happened on the last 3 cleanings I scheduled. - Joy; office manager is quite unhelpful. I shared a financial hardship and attempted to explain my concern with the necessary procedure. She was implacable and resistant to offer solutions. After realizing there would be no movement or help from the office, I moved forward with the procedure and its original cost. I paid in full that day. Imagine my surprise when the office billed me an additional $78 post visit. That was the last straw. I had already paid over $1000; of which they had itemized for me and Joy said was non-negotiable. That should have been the final bill. I have already schedule a cleaning with another practitioner. It was time to move on. But the "nickle and dime" additional bill was my limit. I had to post a review. I was a long standing client. I actually *paid* my bills in full. If this is how they have treated me, I worry for other individuals in similar or more challenging life stages. I don't expect recompense. I just hope if you have read this fully, you are aware. There are *many* other general dental practices in the area. I suggest you look elsewhere for dental care.

Kang and Nishimura and their crew, I have felt a lot more comfortable going to the dentist. They have made my dreaded visits to the dentist a lot more manageable. Mel, the girl at the front desk is very sweet and never fails to call with a reminder. They work great with our insurance company and both Dr. Kang and Dr. Nishimura are fantastic. They are absolutely great in explaining everything to you in every detail. They also have great hygienists who are patient and always try to keep you calm and collected. Our entire family goes to this clinic and we would not go anywhere else. The office is nice, there is a huge window with trees from every room, so nice environment throughout the experience. They always give you great supplies after and they work great with the insurance companies. And they have headphones available upon request as well. If you are looking for a good dental clinic, you should give this one a try. They are also conveniently located in Bellevue with ample parking.

In the past I've had bad experiences with highly recommended dentists in Kirkland. Dr. Nomi was recommended by a trusted friend who just had major dental work. Today I had 3 very old and cracked fillings replaced and needed a crown. I do not like Novocain. In the past I've found the injection worse than the procedures. Dr. Nomi is magic. I barely felt it. After that, the worst part was the chair. if that had been comfortable, Id give 7 stars. There was a lot of drilling and scraping required and it was fine. They were gentle. The assistant was on top of it all and I liked the repore and respect between them. They discussed what they were doing and they were efficient despite one difficult to remove filling. I was also pleased that I didn't have to listen to terrible office music! Maybe that is my favorite part of this dental office. I also believe they were as conservative as they could be considering my mouth is filled with 40 year old silver fillings. The front desk staff also spent a lot of time helping me figure out payments and what was and was not covered. I finally found a dentist with years of experience, a gentle manor, an excellent staff, and a convenient location. They were able to get me in very soon after my initial visit. I think cleanings may be a little more challenging to book but I'm happy they could accommodate my schedule for the rest. I am relieved. I highly recommend Bridle Trails Family Dentistry.
