Butternut Squash Ravioli with Portobello and Sun-dried Tomato Sauce

The Food was Awesome and they had a Vegan Option! The Chef actually made a special sauce for me since I couldn't have dairy . The Ravioli was cooked to perfection

    Hot honey chicken sandwich

I was scared to eat here because of all the bad reviews, but decided to give it a try. I ordered TO GO. My food was ready in 15 mins. The fries were amazing and fresh. I like how they had a little crisp. I ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich. It was not the best chicken sandwich I have had, it was ok. I will say that the chicken was a huge piece of chicken.

    Fish and Chips

Food was good with the exception of the Kiobasa. The pirogies and onions were hot but the Kiobasa was cold, quite the surprise to bite in and have it be refrigerator cold. Everything else was hot. Service was good. Large restaurant.

    Faroe Island Salmon

Had a wonderful dinner at Bellafarm in the Hyatt. I started with Pancetta Corn Chowder. Very flavorful with hints of pepper. For my entree, I enjoyed the Faroe Island Salmon over Risotto. It was cooked to perfection (nothing worse than over cooked salmon). I recommend the Bellafarm.

Excellent service and reasonable prices. Very convenient especially once at the airport.

Flat bread with Italian sausage. Very good

Well I wasn't expecting anything special, but I was expecting to pay a lot for a mediocre meal. Was I Wrong! The dishes I ordered tonight were top notch delicious. The flat bread with Italian sausage was perfectly done. The cold shrimp cocktail with a creamy dressing and then the dried tomatoes and the tasty cocktail sauce was to die for. Send me that recipe!! The NY strip steak was cooked perfect M-rare pan potato and perfectly cooked still 1/2 crunchy carrots. The last dish we ordered was the Belly Pork, this dish need some work. It was crunchy like it should be but the pasty stuffed roll was a bit over cooked and need a deeper flavor or something. All and all what a fine restaurant to have in the lobby of this Hyatt Hotel! Mahalo's to the Chef!

Unrecognizable, refreshed, and revitalized PIT has drastically changed!…read more The construction project complete PIT no longer has the tram, the people movers stand quiet, the tunnel to long term parking is closed, and in its place is a completely new look! The word that comes to mind is expansive as the lobbies and walkways are wide with cathedral height ceilings in places. There is a lot of eye candy from the floor inlays capturing the city's monuments to the small lights in the ceiling that makes it feel like a twinkling night sky. It is beautiful, clean, and polished looking with many tech additions. The downside is that the convenience that once existed in certain areas are gone. Easy access to long term parking is no more with shuttles as the primary method of transport. Not sure if they are going to replace the people movers, the moveable walkways, but if not that makes the airport even more expensive feeling but not in a good way. I appreciated the changes to the TSA checkpoint as it was much faster but the new x-ray system turns out to be slower as it automates the bins. I found myself waiting five minutes for my items to slowly move through the system with no sense of urgency. These small complaints do not negate the improvements! I miss the Rex fossil, but wow I can't help but be impressed with the changes! It is so nice!

From the layout…read more(shaped as an X) to the quick curb-to-gate, PIT has the jump on many airports of similar market size. Drop-off & arrival pick-ups are on different levels (several remodeled airports are doing this) and that helps with congestion. It's just a short walk to security and once you're past that, you walk into a part of the old terminal that has a spacious concourse approach. Food options are separated a bit from the corridors allowing foot traffic to flow better. Plus the food & drink options are pretty solid, from the known to the local, and they're open early (think 5:30 AM-ish). There are Pittsburgh touches (a LOT of things are black & gold) and clean restrooms, making the travel experience much easier. Flying nowadays can be chaotic, so when an airport is doing things right, the average traveler can avoid that dreaded airport stress.

After you pass through TSA, take the elevator up one floor and the entrance is literally right next to the elevator. There is a good amount of seating including tables with chairs and more importantly very comfy wide chairs, each of which has side table space and plenty of electrical outlets. There is a long table with chairs that spans the whole length of the outside looking window where you can watch planes coming and going to their gates. The left side of this long table also has partitioned spots for working with a computer with a little privacy and there is also a multi-function printer available. It was very quiet and it would have been easy to fall asleep. The restroom was spacious, clean, and very nice looking. There is a full bar and drinks are free, but obviously leave a nice tip for your bartender. I had a spicy Bloody Mary to start the morning ahead of a long day of multiple flights. There is a menu which you can order food from, but there is a very nice complementary spread of both food and drink. There is a soda machine, water with lemon slices, and various teas and coffee. I arrived as they were switching from breakfast to lunch. There was assorted fruit, a salad bar, charcuterie, chipped beef, pasta, a few soups, and a bunch of snacks and desserts. This was definitely a much nicer spot to hang out for four hours than sitting in the terminal.

I've been to quite a few cigar lounges--and even worked at one--so I have a good sense of what makes a place stand out. Burn by Rocky Patel did just that on every level. The ambiance, décor, cigar selection, and service were all top-tier. It's a classy lounge with a twist of sports bar energy, which made it both elevated and fun. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the next day, and they had live entertainment--a violinist playing along to hip hop and R&B--which created such a unique vibe. Kayla, the bartender, let us know about the live entertainment the day before, it wasn't posted on their social media or website. She was attentive, sweet, and made excellent drinks. Evan, who was working the cigar side, was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and communicated well with customers even during a heavy flow. One thing that really stood out was the crowd--mixed ages, mature, and plenty of ladies confidently partaking in the beautiful art of cigars, which I loved seeing. Even if you don't smoke cigars, the vibes in this place are worth the visit. If and when I return to Pittsburgh, this place is a must. It's also within walking distance to the stadiums, which is a huge plus. Feedback for management: The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the disconnect between locations and social media postings. There was an event listed on the website that wasn't actually happening at this location, while an amazing event that was happening wasn't shared online; which would have been a shame to miss. It may be worth considering in-house social media and website management to ensure updates are accurate and timely to the specific location.

She offered to make a chocolate martini I said ok that sounded good. My husband ordered a beer. Two minutes later. The waitress came back, and asked what we wanted to order. We were so confused . We ordered again acting like she didn't just take our order 2 minutes ago. I actually ended up changing my order and asked if they had a "house" pilot grigio. She said yes. She asked if we were going to order food and we said just drinks tonight. 5 minutes pass and she brings a large appetizer to our table. I said we didn't order this. She asked if we talked about it though . We said "no" we were never ordering food. I was so taken back by this experience I wanted to cash out after our drinks. I headed to the bar and asked for our bill. We were going to leave cash and leave because the whole situation was very uncomfortable. (Thinking 20 would be enough for the drinks and tip) We finally get the bill and the house wine is on there along with the beer. The total was $37 for 2 drinks. How can a house wine be $17 for a glass? As we left, the whole situation didnt sit right with me. I called later to ask how much a glass of house wine was and the person that answered stated $9.

The dirty martini was fairly pungent and strong so not sure I would get it again but I'm also not big on dirty martinis so probably just the wrong choice on my part. But the food was the star of the show. We ate so many good dishes- starting with the rainbow platter. Loved the baba ghanoush and the roasted cauliflower - those were my favorite of the 7 dishes on the platter. We also ordered the labneh, hummus with chicken and lamb shawarma, and the kafta kebabs (rolled up in some sort of tortilla) which were all fantastic! If we come back (which we will) I would just order the baba ghanoush instead of the rainbow platter, all the other dishes we ordered, and maybe one additional plate. I felt like I didn't really need the Israeli salad (tomato and cucumber) or the pickled cauliflower and radish that came on the rainbow platter. The hummus was SO soft and fluffy. This was some of the best food we've had in Pittsburgh. After having lived in a Philly for 4 years, we know good mediterranean/lebanese food and I'd be surprised if you can find better in Pittsburgh. Service was also very good.

They were pierogi filling in a sweet pepper with crispy onion on top-kudos on that dish! Out other two plates were the seared ahi tuna which had a nice savory crust and the chicken souvlaki, which was pretty standard. Our server was friendly and pleasant. The space was beautiful. Would highly recommend coming here for cocktails and small plates, the pizza at other tables looked pretty tasty too!
