We had them come out and trim the trees before all the storms came. He saved a 75 foot redwood that had split at the top. They all look so good. Through all the storms and winds etc, we haven't lost a single branch and that is saying something! read more

Great Job done by Bellizzi Tree Service for recent pruning of trees in my yard! I had several quotes in and he gave the best price. The job was professional and Trees look great. I pointed out my exact concerns and his team was able to take care of each one and also cleaned up after the job. Even thought of the little details to make things easy....did the job 1 day prior to trash pick up so I didn't have a pile of junk sitting for a week. Give Chris a call!!! read more

Chris has an outstanding crew. They did a beautiful job on my two redwoods in the backyard as well as all the other trees on my property. I would highly recommend. read more

Chris at Bellizzi Tree Service was awesome to work with. Very responsive initially with the quote and communication through the process was excellent. We set a day and he showed up as indicated. He took pictures of the progress and sent them to me. A nice touch. Payment options were flexible and you could tell by the job he did that he cares about a job well done. Exceeded expectations. This was the grinding of three stumps in very tight spots. VERY happy with the results. Have him look at your project. You won't be disappointed. read more

I was very impressed by the work Chris did for me. He is a skilled tree trimmer (and rock climber who zips up trees effortlessly) who really listened to me and did exactly what I wanted. I was happy that he preforms the work himself with the help of another man who was also capable- no team of unskilled tree hackers. My trees looked 100% better after his work was completed. Also Chris was very thorough with cleaning up. He chipped everything and then left my yard spotless. read more

The Bellizzi crew showed up right on time, trimmed my trees quickly and expertly, and cleaned the yard up spotless when they were done. The trimming work and bid were right on target, and I'd use them for trimming again. Had to take off one star because I had a bit of back and forth getting a firm commitment on what day they could come out and do the job. It wasn't rush work, but I did need to know when it could be done so I could schedule some other dependent jobs, and also so I or my wife could be sure to be home from work. read more

I've contact this service twice over the last month. First time the answerer said he'd text me and never did. Yesterday someone said they'd call me back as they were driving, they never did. I will try to re review if they ever get back to me. What good is a service you can't use??? I've now returned to UPDATE: The business finally returned my calls and scheduled a estimate after quite an ordeal. I was unhappy with the estimate. I had my money returned by Amazon local as even with their coupon I found other vendors less expensive. I've since had the work handled very nicely by the other vendor and I'm satisfied with their timeliness. Best I can say is buyer beware with Bellizzi trees service company. Lastly, I was contacted about my review and given several excuses for the issues. First, I didn't appreciate the contact; as, I feel if you own a business and can't personally contact for scheduling or whatever, you should hire someone, or have a spouse or friend help you out. My time is as valuable as yours and excuses aren't worth much to me! read more

I have used Bellizzi Tree service to remove some small trees including grinding stumps below ground level, and tree trimming. Work quality and cleanup were excellent. This month, and for the past several months, Chris helped me navigate getting a Campbell city permit to remove a large 4-foot diameter diseased tree; after that and trying to get contractor assistance from PG&E, since the upper tree was above some high voltage power lines, Chris and crew targeted a weather window with no rain, and completely removed the tree and ground the stump in two days, and cleaned up all debris from the tree site. Awesome! As I told Chris, I will state here: Chris does very good quality work. Very pleased, and will consider using Chris again for future projects. Thanks! read more

You might not know this, but If you go to the Bellizzi yard they have lots of tree chips you can take for free. I just got 5 bags for putting on the paths between my raised beds. Awesome deal! read more

We used this service and would highly recommend them. The crew was professional and they cleaned up so well you would not have known they were there. The quality of their work is excellent. We had 2 trees cut back, a pear tree stump grinded, some cactus removed and yucas removed and stump grinded. The owner Chris was great to work with. Again, highly recommend this service. We will definitely use them in the future when we need this type of work performed. read more

Chris and team are awesome!!! I had a dead Mulberry tree in the front yard. The team showed up early, were efficient and quick!! They must have worked together for years as they each worked individually and in unison to complete the job. They even left me the chips to spread in the front and back yards...and did the front yard for me. A little added landscaping service they said. read more

Chris and his team have been helping take care of all my trees for the past 4 years. He and his team are reliable, safe, professional always leaving my yard clean when they are done. Called twice and used the website request for an estimate but no one ever called back or gave us an estimate to remove our jacaranda tree.

I have used Bellizzi Tree Service at my 4-plex in San Jose for tree trimming. They have always done a good job at a reasonable price. This year I had to remove 30-40 years of tree and bush overgrowth at my home in Los Gatos and they were amazing. They were quick, efficient and the price was right on target. I would highly recommend Chris Bellizzi and his crew. read more

Chris provided excellent tree removal service and at a very reasonable price. He is very detailed oriented and does most of the work himself so you know you are getting a real pro. He grinded the stump and took away the chips so that replanting grass over the area was a snap. He has my total recommendation and I look forward to using his services in the future. read more

This was the second job I have done with Chris. It was really more grading work than actual tree service but Chris was great in finding me a cost effective resource for the grading, did his end of the job on time and perfect as usual. I can't tell you how great it is to have a dependable contractor who has great contacts in a variety of services. Thanks Chris for all your great help, you helped make this job effortless and without any stress. read more

Unlike the 3 other tree service companies I called, Chris called me back right away, then quickly gave me a quote. After many calls to other tree companies and many days waiting, I finally got another quote that confirmed Chris' quote was competitive. His crew then showed up right on time and did a great job on 3 trees for me. Seems like it's hard to find someone reliable in the tree business, but Bellizzi is one you can count on to be dependable and competent. read more

Bellizzi and crew were Fantastic! They arrived promptly at 7:00 am with smiles on their faces and ready to start. By 8:30, our 80 foot redwood tree was a huge toothpick in our yard. By noon, the job was complete. I was very impressed! They are very good at what they do, and are certainly knowledgeable about trees. I'll admit, i was a little nervous to have such a large tree removed, but the job could not have gone better. I will hire them again and definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a tree service.... read more

We found the work the Bellizzi Tree Service team did on our trees to be excellent. When Chris came out for the estimate, we found him to be very knowledgeable about trees. Once the work was completed, I had to keep going outside and admiring how the birch trees look in the front yard. You can see the beautiful white trunk and branches all the way to the top! The team was here bright and early and left having tidied everything up. It looked so nice it compelled us to go mow the lawns so that the yard looked extra polished! We will definitely call on Bellizzi Tree Service when we need trees tended to again. read more

All the good reviews here say it very well. Arrived on time, worked hard and efficiently, the guys were friendly and they cleaned up the area beautifully! We had 4 big trees removed and 2 stumps 'grinded', a big job. Would I hire them again? Oh, yeah! read more

Chris and his crew did an excellent job trimming large oak trees that overhung my house. They also removed a diseased tree that threatened to fall on my deck. I was very pleased with their work. Over the years I've had several tree companies work on my trees. Chris knew more about how to trim and care for them than any of the others. I will hire him again to work on the rest of my trees and I have recommended him to others. read more

Called to get a bid for a redwood removal. Didn't get a estimate that day. In fact didn't even get an estimate until two weeks later after it was removed. Though the estimate was cheaper than the rest... but required removing fencing and another tree blocking the side gate. read more

The service I received from Chris Bellizzi was top notch. He delivered the same day I called which was unexpected!!! The wood was mixed hardwood including mostly oak and other great hardwoods. I have a very small tree in a small courtyard. I have two estimates from other highly rated tree services that say this trimming job is less than their $300 minimum and it would cost $300. So I bought the Amazon Local deal for $300 worth of service for $150 from Mr. Bellizzi. It sounded like a great deal. Well, it took 7 weeks of frequent emails, texts, and phone calls to get him to come out. He came out yesterday and I thought he would do the work, but he just did an estimate. He wanted to charge an additional $150 to trim the tree and an additional $75 to haul the trimmings. Including the $300 coupon that is a total of $525 for the estimate. He said it is "only" costing me $375. which is still way more that the other tree services minimum. So where is the deal? He claimed the tree was hard to get to. It is, there are wall on two sides and a fence in back (about 6' clearance on each side and 3' in back). But there is also a flat garage roof right beside it that you can stand on and trim the whole tree (that's what I have done in the past, the tree is only 25' to 3-' high and not big around). He also complained that the trimmings would be difficult to haul off. That is sort of true, in that they have to go through the 32" wide side door to the garage. No one else complains about that, and I never had any trouble with it, so I wonder if he is just not well equipped to do this work? He also complained about the distance, but this work was at the corner of Meridian and Blossom Hill, which is pretty darn close to Campbell. Anyway, I was now way over the 30 day refund policy for Amazon Local, but I sent them an email and got a refund within an hour! I love Amazon, there is no better customer service anywhere, period. Mr. Bellizzi could learn from them. read more
