For the second year in a row I've had firewood delivered by Bellizzi and it's been a good experience each time. I guess I need to reinterpret "call in a bit" as not any time soon, and "call in 5" as not in 5 min (what most people believe) or even 5 hours. Maybe he meant 5 days or 5 weeks? He concluded that the tree needed to be removed. He gave us instructions on how to get the permit done. Was very helpful. The old Magnolia tree in our front yard ended up having one of it's larger limbs snapping, falling on top of another limb which also snapped, and blocked our driveway. I reached out to several companies on Yelp to see who could help, and Bellizzi Tree Service came through for me with the best price/quality/timing combination of the competitors. They came out just when they said they would, and promptly began work shredding the fallen limbs, pruning the old tree to ensure this happen again, and even took an on-the-spot request from me to take down another 20 ft. tree next to my house before they left, at a very reasonable price. When the cutting was finished they then proceeded to clean up the yard and remove all of the wood/leaves from their work. I very much appreciated that he was concerned for the health of his crew with the heatwave and the smoke, and that he knew that I had some concerns that we would miss my date. We didn't - the team kept the commitment while meeting several other emergency calls. Once on the job, they were very respectful of my home and property. They were careful and methodical with their cuts, they pulled potentially damaging branches via rope so they would fall in clear areas, they immediately chipped everything, and they left no debris. Bellizzi tree service removed a dead Monterey pine tree about 45 feet tall from our backyard using a crane because It was relatively tricky tree removal due to the tree's location about 6 feet away from an art studio. This only took about five hours and even included grinding down the stump! So we now have plenty of gorilla hair mulch from stump. awesome job Highly recommend this company. The workers cleaned up wonderfully and the neighbors were so glad no one got hurt as we had to get crane access from the neighbors driveway for this relatively dangerous job with chainsaws and a crane. We started using Belizzi Tree service 10 years ago for a massive pine tree removal. He was fast, reliable, and reasonably priced. We continued to call on Chris for regular trimming of our trees and we recently moved to a home with enormous overgrown Oak trees. We called up Chris and he came out with a team and we're here for two full days. What I love about the Belizzi team is that they don't just hack the trees away.
