Overall food quality was not good. Grilled chicken on the salad was extremely dry. I ordered Ranch dressing and received a vinaigrette. Ordered a sausage and mushroom pizza. Canned mushrooms instead of fresh which I prefer. The cheese pizza was inedible for me. The sauce has a tangy, odd taste. I don't care for a sweet sauce either but this was sour tasting. The crust was good, done well. I ordered thin. Delivery was 20 minutes later than the app showed and came cold. I was unimpressed with the overall service and quality. Meatball parm sub with gravy fries....something is completely off with this place...I'm so pissed off at the gravy fries I need to start with this. After reviewing the offer on Order Up, I realized all the toppings for the cheesesteak were an extra $.79 a piece (i.e lettuce, tomato, mayo, onions, hots, etc.). I knew it had to be a mistake as those are standard options included on EVERY BASIC CHEESESTEAK SUB, so I called Fortunato Brothers to inquire about the special and to see what toppings were offered STANDARD on the sub. I was told it included lettuce, tomato, mayo, onions, cheese and hots. He asked if I wanted to order and I said I would place the order with Order Up and he immediately hung up on me. This should have been the FIRST red flag. The delivery guy was super nice and delivered my items. The fries were standard and lacking basic salt so I seasoned it, ate a few and moved onto the cheesesteak... As pictured, it was bread and steak only. I took a bite thinking the cheese has to be somewhere as this sub is dry , lacking flavor and something else. It wasn't until my husband asked me what I was eating that i realized the lettuce, tomato, mayo, and onions (no hots via preference) was missing as well. I immediately called Fortunato Brothers where I explained the situation and was passed off to the assistant manager. He told me that with Order up you must pay for toppings outside of cheese and bread. I paid for extra cheese (American) and extra meat ($2.99) and was told that they place the cheese in between the bread (i didn't see it via the picture included) and it came with extra meat. I told the assistant manager the sub was also missing the lettuce, tomato, mayo, and onions that the phone rep told me was included standard on the sub. The assistant manager kept telling me with Order Up I'd have to pay extra in order to receive those items despite the representative telling me otherwise BEFORE I placed the order. I asked the manager if what he was basically telling me was that i wasted my money and he kept reverting back to having to pay extra for the toppings I wanted via Order Up. A simple refund, new order or discount on a future order would have sufficed but the customer service here is lacking tremendously. First and last time I will ever patronize this business and I recommend that you avoid this place at all costs. read more

Of course, she wanted the chopped tomato, but the fuzzy-unibrow-on-a-sloped-forehead-havin', knuckle-draggin', club wavin' caveman inside me howled "MEAT GOOD!" and piled all sorts of meat on my half of the pizza. This happened for several visits to Fortunato Brothers when my inner Neanderthal evolved to an inner Cro-Magnon and agreed to try the sacrilegious meat-free pizza. I reluctantly allowed myself to inhale the aroma and I grudgingly admitted the fragrant basil and garlic were enticing. At the first bite, my inner Cro-Magnon evolved into an Ivory Tower Elitist. I don't like soft and squishy tomatoes and I usually avoid them with any hot food, but these were perfect. They remained firm and kept the fresh-from-the-garden flavor. They make a pretty good cheesesteak sub, great fries and delicious wings. They are fast too and the food is always hot. I have dined in and received delivery, both were great and the delivery time was always shorter than quoted. Try them and you will be surprised. Eating from Fortunato's is like being back in Jersey/New York. Its the first legit pizza and subs that I have had in years. I tried their basic pepperoni pizza and was floored by the taste. I went back the following week for the white pizza and a cheese steak and my god it was amazing. My husband and I walked into a freezing restaurant. The gentleman at the counter said the heater couldn't keep up with people opening the door so they don't bother. Onion rings burnt. Fries tasted like oil and nothing else. I called the restaurant to explain my concerns and was cut off after every word I spoke. The man I spoke to claimed to be the owner when I asked for a manager - he supposedly watched my food be made and said that grub hub must have dropped my food if there was barely cheese or sauce. and was told that the "owner" personally watched my pizza be made And I was wrong about the quality. I told him I personally would drive to the restaurant with the uneaten food or send pictures. He wouldn't help me and said he refused to remake me food- not that I asked them to. They also have some interesting kinds of single slices-- I am a fan of the stuffed steak. The tomato bread is super delicious and the subs are fantastic as well. A great, quick, weeknight meal. As far as atmosphere, there isn't much. There are a few small tables, but the space is cramped and it's best to just get your order to go. They do not deliver and they only accept cash. They have fountain sodas and bottles of soda and juice, but no beer or liquor (yet another reason to take your order to go). I do wish they would add zucchini sticks to the menu. read more

I have also had their chicken cheese steak it's ok but must ask for extra cheese because it seems like they don't put enough I can't even taste it and the bread taste old and dry. Ehhhh....it was just OK. The menu is quite large, with lots of different combos of pizzas, subs and salads. Unfortunately, in the middle of a Baltimore summer, the only tomatoes they could come up with were palid soft specimens that added absolutely no taste to my slice. The subs were a bit better with some very generous portions of great cold cuts (I think they used Boars Head) - and lots of olive oil and vinegar - yum! If I could give no stars I would. I've been to this place several times, but today was my last day. The chicken fingers that I normally get were absolutely disgusting. They tasted like they were fried in old fish oil. The meat did not look like chicken.
