Staff and students are fabulous! I asked for chunky highlights, and the student had never done those kind of highlights, but she did an excellent job 20/10!! So much better than I expected anyone to do for it, it came about even better than I envisione. I also asked for curtain bangs and a feathered hair cut, it looks amazing! She struggled with my hairline a bit, but I have a widows peak so that is expected. I love my hair it came out so beautifu! she did a great job on the highlights and lowlights. Got my hair cut and styled here on Friday, and I couldn't be happier with the result! They are all super sweet and friendly, and the stylists are amazing at what they do! I forgot the name of the girl that cut my hair, but she has long, berry colored hair with bangs. She has tattoos and a piercing above her lips. I feel horrible for not remembering her name because she was so awesome... If you're thinking of going to school here I'd recommend checking out other schools first and asking for their tuition prices. Every salon owner I've spoke to about getting a job told me where you go to school doesn't matter because typically salons will train you if you want to learn essentially the whole purpose of going to school is to learn how to pass state board (some schools will try to rip you off and tell you otherwise) coming from someone who has 8 years of cosmetology /hair industry I'm not fooled by this scam) this is second the most expensive school in San Diego . I included a small part of my experience at this location on my YouTube channel to educate everyone (on my own personal experience) now I will only be paying 4,000 instead of the 11,000 this school wanted to charge me. I applied for FAFSA for aesthetician for 3 different beauty schools for whatever reason this school denied my FAFSA but the other two schools offered cut my tuition in more then half. Feeling blessed after reading some of the reviews from students on the "not recommended" reviews section on Yelp not sure why they aren't recommended when they are very helpful... suspicious read more

My esthetician was Aolani for both services and I was very happy & pleased with the services I received. I have very sensitive skin and Aolani made sure to hear my concerns and talk me through both facials. She explained all the products and would check in on me to make sure I was comfortable and my skin felt okay throughout the services. I was relaxed and my skin felt amazing afterwards.
