We have been in this house for 29 years, and in those 29 years Bellwether has earned the spot of the WORST experience we have ever had with any company, in any field, for any service or repair, in all those 29 years. One of their estimators, Chad, came out nearly a month ago. He did his measurements, he gave us a bid (around 11K) and we accepted the bid. We jumped through a hundred hoops to secure the financing from the gutter finance company they use, but we finally got that done. I sweated a bucket to get this ready to go, and it's been nearly a month now. Chad came out today and informed us that oops, I made a little goof, and we want $4500.00 MORE to do your job. I was absolutely...crushed. There are ONLY 2 options for how this happened: (1) Bellwether is a bunch of crooks. In an industry rife with high-pressure clowns who are known to do damn-near anything to steal more from consumers, only a moron would not accept the possibility that Bellwether fits into this category. The ONLY other possibility is (2) Gross Incompetence. Chad told me he recalculated his bid for 900 s.f. of siding at TWO squares, when in fact it would take NINE squares. That's a substantial oops... Their Director of Sales guy called with a song and dance about an "honest mistake", but apparently their "honor" only goes so far, he offered to eat just half of their 100% mistake. NO DEAL. So, you've been warned. This process wasted a MONTH of my time and energy, with a minor ding to my credit rating because of an inquiry from their shoddy finance company. If you like the idea of wasting your time and getting the run-around, give these jokers a whirl. Just don't say you weren't warned. read more

I do appreciate the site visit and the experience and suggestions - they are clearly pros who know what they are doing and I was convinced that they would do a great job. That would have allowed me to pay a bit more to hire them, but almost 2x my next highest bid made it impossible to justify. read more

If I could give a ZERO I would. i needed some siding repair. When I spoke with the representative he indicated they only do full siding replacement. I indicated that was ok and thanked him for his time. This company proceeded to contact me almost every day after that asking about my project; when could they come out to do an estimate. I left three voice messages asking them not to contact me. I responded to a text with the same message. They ignored all my requests. If this is how well they listen to their customers I would never consider hiring them for a project. read more

Windows and doors NO NO NO!!! Siding yes. CSR Colorado Siding Repair / Bellwether Homes did a full upgrade/renovation of our exterior. They did a great job on the HardiBoard siding but a horrible job on installing the doors. Gaps underneath the door, could see light coming thru and cold wind blowing thru. I have them come and "fix it" but did a lousy job and I ended up repairing it myself. They installed our windows OK but used the wrong color interior trim. I paid for TRIPLE PANE windows but they installed double pane windows with an add on non sealed window panel meant for an internal blind setup. Not really triple pane as quoted. read more

I called asking for a quote for siding repair. They texted back, and I sent very specific details and a pic. They eventually called back, but said they would not bid because it was too small a job ($5k min) and gave me the number of some guy I'd already called. I explained that the leaky siding was on the house, and all the siding is the same age and all soon needs to be replaced. She then tried to give me a handyman's number. Ok, lady, someone else can take my money if you can't wrap your mind around the fact that this 50 sq. ft. urgent issue is one wall on a 4,000 sq. ft. job. read more

I would give these guys 100 stars if I could! I am VERY, VERY picky about this kind of work being done on my house and I couldn't recommend them more highly! Cash was our sales rep and he never pressured me in any way. He presented all options to me equally and let me decide if I wanted to move forward and what level of siding to choose. One of our huge issues is that our 1970 house was roasting in the summer and freezing in the winter. He suggested that we put new insulation in as part of the project (although he made NO promises that it would help with heating/cooling of the house). We both HOPED it would and let me tell you, with these upper-90 degree days, we are completely, totally comfortable in our house now. WOW! I have never in my life seen a group of guys work so hard on a project. Emerson and the rest of the crew who worked on our house were here 12-14 hour days, always smiling, positive, friendly with us and each other, professional.....AND SUPER respectful of our property. I am a freak about my flowers and grass and during this entire project, the siding crew did not injure one blade of grass or one petal on one flower. They cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day as well. I added a few things along the way to the project, including wrapping the existing beams (would highly recommend doing this), and Cash, as well as the crew, were happy to do so and did this quickly and professionally. Our house honestly looks like a brand new house. I realize it costs a lot of money to reside a house and it's a big investment. So of course you want to choose a reputable, honest company that does great work. Colorado Siding Repair is that company. This is the best money we've ever spent! One of my neighbors told me that he'll never be able to sell his house now because ours looks so good - ha! He is looking at doing siding next year - I hope he chooses this company! Loved Colorado Siding Repair! Even though my project was small, the owner, Cash gave a lot of personal time helping me pick out the perfect color from the Hardie Dream Color Collection. His team came and completed the job on time and they were respectful of our property. Our once sad looking garage now matches our house and is beautiful! Needed to have some siding repaired on my home. Not a full full house, but not a small job either (about $9K) Reached out to numerous companies many of which wouldn't do anything but a full house. Received two bids both about the same price. Went with Colorado Siding based on the stronger reviews and the softer sell, even though the other company had good reviews too (felt like they were too pushy). Colorado Siding Repair was able to get my job scheduled pretty quickly (though that was not a big concern of my) and everything went very smooth. The crew started early (about 7am) and seemed to make quick work of the project. Clean up was great, charged me exactly what the quote was, did exactly what they promised, really no complaints at all. I've had lots of disappointments with contractors/repair people so it was really refreshing to have a good experience. I would not hesitate to call them again when it's time for the full house or if I need another spot repair. read more

I just wanted to give the recommendation to Colorado Siding Repair if anyone needs to have siding replace. I only had one wall that was damaged. I called several companies, most wouldn't do only one wall, one never got back to me with a quote, and a few tried to sell me paint or windows. The recommendations from Home Advisor were also useless. Anyway, I found Colorado Siding Repair, they used to work for big name siding companies, but saw that there was a market for smaller jobs. I got a quote on the spot, they came out less than 2 weeks later. Tore off the old siding, put up Tyvek, new siding, trim, and repaired trim on my front porch columns. The best thing about Colorado Siding Repair (unlike the other siding companies I had called) is that they do partial replacement and repair in addition to full siding replacement. Other area companies will not do partial replacement/repair of damaged siding. This is a niche they have in this market. I basically needed only one and a half sides of my house's siding replaced. Despite a few minor scheduling hiccups along the way, my interactions with the conscientious Cash Stricker and Paul Dickens were very positive, polite and professional. The fellow that came to do the work was a Brazilian man named Iolando with decades of siding experience. I was impressed that he went that extra mile in noticing a hole above the vent under an eave. He got a piece of metal and patched that hole. When Iolando left I gave him a CD of Brazilian music and thanked him for his good work. This company is highly recommended.
