The bartenders were fantastic and so was the service. However once the evening shift came in the energy and vibe was different. The floor manager Melissa was standoffish and not inviting. Her attitude alone would not encourage me to be a repeat customer or promote this establishment (which is damaging because i have the clients to bring there). The customer service needs to be a lot better from the females especially from an establishment that is still fairly new and growing. Nice restaurant with outdoor seating under umbrellas. The place wasn't busy but our food took nearly an hour to be served. For a restaurant with menu based selections, it is an unacceptable wait. Great little spot! Stopped in just after 3pm on a Saturday. It was relatively empty. The bar was practically all ours. We came to check out the scene and place a takeout order. The atmosphere was pure vibes. Good Caribbean music and the bartender was pretty cool. While we waited for our food we had a couple of drinks. The "Bedroom bully" was so yummy and strong! That's what you call a stiff drink! The food was good also....between me, my husband and my brothers, we ordered the curry shrimp, oxtails, chicken soup, jerk chicken and curried veggies. I never write review buts this was a horrible experience. Came here on Valentine's day. They had a special menu for the occasion, which was 4 courses. It took an hour to get the first meal, then our waitress never came with the 2nd course, ended up getting the 3rd course by the 3hr mark (why were we still here, no clue). When the bill came they tried charging us for a bottle of wine which was supposed to be included (which obviously we never got) and had to have them correct the bill multiple times. Never again! This was by far the worst service that I've endured for a subpar, overprice meal. The wait for the food was approximately 45 minutes. The drinks took a while, although we sat at the bar. My girlfriend ordered the seafood feast reggae pasta expecting a bountiful assortment of seafood married in pasta.... that couldn't have been further from reality. There was one shrimp and a few mussels that were over cooked. The sauce used tasted strange and the used tri-colored pasta.The oxtail was lackluster to say the least. Very slow service on a Sunday afternoon where there was only 3 tables being served, including ours! I ordered chicken and waffles. The chicken was great, the waffles was luke warm and hard. My daughter had the wings which tasted okay but she's convinced had a fish flavor to it. Unfortunately couldn't try the jerk chicken because they say they ran out of it.
