I'd been coming here for some time and haven't been through because of the pandemic. Figured I'd return with the pollen on my car. This place is a complete 180 of what it was. Got the platinum package and only 1 of the items on the list was done after such a long wait and slow moving dry process. I read the details because when I first went to the car, it was disgusting my coffee holders, dirty my rugs I am upset. They only got two people working there. The service and Care here used to be so good here...not anymore. Made sure the Package I chose included the trunk being vacuumed. When I got home it was not vacuumed. So aggravating. I still don't understand why this business is named "hand car wash". I've been coming here for years when I'm too lazy to drive to a better car wash, only to leave disappointed 90 percent of the time. I hate reviewing things but this is deserved, let's dig in. After a wait on Mangold for almost 45 minutes, I drove up to the bay where they "hand wash" your vehicle. And by "hand wash" their process is to run a BROOM over your paint. While watching their employees drag a BROOM over the next guys poor car, I couldn't take it and left the line to go to another car wash. People.. seriously consider what I just said. A BROOM. This leaves your vehicle with deep scratches and swirl marks that can only be corrected in the future by paint correcting your vehicle. Don't believe me, do a quick search through google or YouTube. Not only are you waiting over an hour at times to "clean" your vehicle. You're also damaging your vehicles precious paint in the process. Through past experiences with Haledon HAND Car Wash leaving dirt, coffee stains and leaving 40 percent of the vehicle untouched, I couldn't bear to support a business like this nor could I willingly pay to damage my vehicle. "If you want something done right, do it yourself" and this has never been more true. What was this?! Wanted to try since it's fairly nearby and I always saw them busy. Do not come here unless you have the day off, I waited an hour from start-finish. I completely understand they're understaffed a (total of 5 workers) but there were 2 men who were actively working and paying attention vs. the 1 guy who was vacuuming and tripping over himself and the machine. He looked miserable to be there. Between the power dry machine and waiting to be manually dried my car dried itself during the wait that left watermarks and smudges the workers had to respray to wipe down. This used to be my go-to car wash as the service was thorough and the prices reasonable. I don't know if there was a change in ownership or if all the old workers left, but the quality of service was absolutely horrible. I waited almost 45 minutes to get my car washed and they almost forgot to do several cleaning services on the car had I not pointed it out. Furthermore, when I got home I noticed several areas they did not clean. The workers move slow and appear to hate their jobs. I asked for the manager to call me with no response. I came here the other day cause my girlfriend recommended me , honestly for 26$ they offer a lot but I felt like half the stuff listed in the package wasn't done . After the wash my car was still dirty on the bumper , would've prob stayed dirty if I didn't say anything. I had to clean both my mirrors when I got home cause they weren't cleaned . Please don't go here. They are over charging just for outside wash. $19. I normally pay $24 for a wash. So it is only 5 dollars for vacuum and to clean the whole inside.. they don't give price until you go through. Go to the place on chamberlain instead $10 for the same service. Smh. read more

One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a car wash. There were 12 people working at the facility and they spent a half hour on two other cars before they stated drying mine. Why start washing a third car if you have no intention of drying it right away? At that point, my car had already started to streak. One gentleman then came over to start drying and proceeded to put his dirty and greesy hands on my car as he dried it. Turns out he was only on his third day but cannot understand why you would lean on or touch a clean car. When I complained to the cashier, about 8 minutes later more people stared to work on my car. I paid for the platinum service which included a waxing and interior armor all service. My car was left with wax buildup all over it and streaks in every window (including the windshield where there were actual marks from the wiper blades). I also didn't appreciate one of the associates leaving their coffee cup on my roof while he worked on vaccuming my car. At that point I just decided to get out of there because I didn't want this crew washing my car again and I had already been there for 45 minutes. I will not be going here again. read more

I passed this place completely by accident, and though I'm very picky about my car washes, I felt like I had to try it. Belmont was exceptional. The service was fantastic and prices are great! For about $20 I was able to get one of their higher-end washes and it was totally worth it. The employees really take care of every car as if it was special. Too many times I've gone to other places where they try to rush through, leaving streaks, wet spots, or even soap. Here you will have to wait a bit, but only because they really want to do the best job possible. I saw some Hyundais, Kias, and the lot getting the same treatment as some Mercedes and BMW's that were there.. and that's a GOOD THING! I was told by a friend that had gone here after picking up some groceries that they stole a few cans of soups of his. I believe that since they take all (or at least most) of the stuff out of your car before cleaning it, that they may have just been misplaced. I had some stuff in my trunk (even some valuables) and it was all there afterwards. As a matter of fact, the employees (cleaners?) took care of where they put my stuff when they vacuumed the interior. I am very picky about where I take my car to get washed, I can now safely say I'll be taking her back to Belmont Hand Car Wash in the future. read more

I hesitated for a moment writing this review because the damn line for this place is already too long....it doesn't need any 5 star reviews encouraging more people to go. Be prepared, on a nice day, to wait up to a half hour for a car wash... but it is definitely worth it if you want a TRUE cleaning. For $14 your mats are cleaned, they use compressed air to get everything out of the crevices, windows and car are cleaned entirely by hand; at any given time you have 4-5 people working on the car at once. They are a finely tuned machine. Only place of it's kind as far as I know and I can tolerate the line because I only get my car cleaned about twice a year when it really needs a cleaning. read more

This review is based on their detail service alone. Horrendous, horrible job for 160.00 my car looked like it received a car wash. I. should have known that something was up when it got done in two hours.. I will try to attach the pictures they should have been embarrassed to give me a car like this and call it a detail. When I call to complain the "manager" whom only spoke Spanish said he gave us a $20 discount so what do we expect. We never asked for a discount and seriously if you're going to give a discount and shitty service don't give a discount. I pulled in, no one asked me the service I wanted they just started spraying my car while my window was open (I had questions about the different options). After a man came to my window and asked if I wanted the inside. I said no I just want the outside done. I sensed an attitude so I didn't ask about exterior wash options. I went to hand him my debit card and he got very offended and said you gotta go inside. I told him "okay I didn't know there was even an inside I've never been here." He proceeded to be very rude and say "whenever you go somewhere you gotta pay in the office right?!" I said "actually no the car wash by me has a card machine outside" When in the office I looked out and saw his head in my car. I hesitated to write this review because I much rather deal with the establishment directly, however there is no email address or manager contact information available so here we go.....I have been going to Belmont Car Wash for over 10 years and continued to support them during COVID as best as I was able to. I just returned from a wash and I will say I am confused as to what has happen with this place. My jeep is more soiled now than it was before I spent $32 on a wash!! The staff was so quick to finish cleaning the vehicle so they could go sit down and play with their phones and BS. The place has gone down hill and unless they change staff or have a manager on site full time to maintain quality control, I don't see this place lasting. Its a shame because we always try and keep business within our local municipalities busy rather than going to place out of the area. For $32 one would expect a better job and quality of product. Waste of money. Took my secondary car there, noticed that they did an incredibly shoddy job on both the interior and exterior. Exterior looks generally nice, but they missed several blatently dirty spots. I presume it's because they thought it was "too stuck", or something along those lines--give me a break, I'm paying $25 for a car wash and you leave dirt tracks on the rear bumper? Interior was far worse. Armor all looked fine, but they didn't even bother to vacuum the back seat surface AT ALL. There is still dirt and debris, I presume this is from the air compressor that they use to blow dirt out of crevices--fine, but don't leave it on the seats! All of the workers are completely illiterate regarding the English Language. Try telling them anything, you may as well not say it at all. $25 isn't anything ridiculous, so I suppose you get what you pay for, but I strongly suggest going to Auto Polishing Center in Waldwick, NJ. For the same price, you'll get a much better wash at a much nicer facility with better employees in house. Even better, they offer a hand wax (not a spray wax) for an additional $10. I have been going here for years. For $13 plus tip you get the outside AND inside of your car cleaned. Also there is a guest reward card that gets you a free wash every so often. The service is sometimes very thorough and sometimes less thorough but always great for the low price. I've been coming to this car wash since they first opened it! First of all, they can put a little bit more of effort when they're washing the cars. I've noticed that they no longer wash the cars the way they used to! I guess the have a time line which is completely understandable BUT remember quality over quantity! Second of all, I paid today for the Diamond package because I wanted them to clean up my car seats and honestly all they did was spray some liquid on them. I ended up asking one of the guys to clean a side of the backseat that they didn't even touch! So then again, there goes the issue, why pay so much money for a service that I'm not getting?!? I brought my mustang to this car wash. They did a Great job up front drying and vacuuming out the car. The windows were also great. That's usually where car wash mess up the most. It's a really weird layout for a car wash and the location isn't great. Luckily I went on a day that it was slow. Couldn't imagine how long it would take on a busy day. Whole car wash took about 15 mins. What was really weird was that they only had 1 guy washing the car. I have been to many hand car washes and everyone has at least two guys washing. I didn't care about how long it took by my concern were the mitts getting dirty and scratching the car. Because when they have 2 men washing they wash from the roof down. In other words from the cleanest to the dirtiest part. In this case he didn't do that he just washed around the car. Don't get me wrong this is A LOT better than an automatic and I would never bring my car to one. They also don't have a track which helps because my car is slow low and the tires are so wide. The crew is very friendly and nice. Cashier could have been a little friendlier and then try to up sell me on services. I would come back for sure.
