I stopped in this sandwich restaurant for lunch after volunteering in the neighborhood. I ordered a chicken caesar wrap which came with fries and pickle. I waited less than 10 minutes for my food. The chef was able to toss my fries in garlic seasoning for better flavor. My bf & I stopped here to grab breakfast during that weird part of the year between Christmas & New Year's where a lot of the cafes in the Mt Vernon area seemed to take an extended holiday break. Thank God Belvedere Bagels & Grill was open, because we were starving. We soon learned how awesome this place is. We thought this was going to be a sit down diner-type place. Instead, it's a grab and go joint, with a lot of people coming and going. The guys who work there are very friendly. The prices are great. Most importantly, the food was delicious. Service is always so kind and friendly. They are usually busy so they are on top of it! And if you come in the morning, it takes them a little longer because everyone is there ... but the food never disappoints. I love the pancake platter with eggs and your choice of meat. Turkey bacon is chefs kiss... and the pancakes here are the BEST I've had. Ambiance isn't really there but when it's nice outside, the tables are a nice spot to sit out and eat. read more

I'm so happy I went to this small gem. It's right around the corner from my apartment so I will definitely be there more often. Customer service was A1 and the food is cooked to order. They move fast here so don't worry about a long wait time. We went around 12:30pm and it was kinda busy. They have outdoor benches only. There's no inside seating. The cashier bought our food out to us when it was ready. He was really nice. When you walk into the building it's on the right. A small nook. The menu is extensive. They have turkey bacon but not turkey sausage. Just a FYI for people who like turkey options. Next time I'll try the bagels. The burger was really good. It was definitely quality beef and bun. I've been coming here for a few months, I notice that the bagels are never really toasted. I started to call in after placing my DD order and requesting them to be toasted longer. Today I ordered a BLT and called in as well. When it arrived the bread was literally still white! I called and spoke to two people and finally the owner. He told me it was toasted and every sandwich/ bagel is toasted ! I explained to him that I called prior and asked for it to be toasted longer since they typically aren't toasted enough he then tells me it's nothing they can do ensuring me it was toasted! I asked would he like a picture he said he didn't have a phone that could receive them. I then offered to walk down there with my sandwich to show him and he said that's fine . I then said when I get there can I get a refund. He responded and said you don't need to waste your time walking here because you will not get a refund. We can offer you a bottle of water next time you come. This is so disgusting as an owner of a business you should aim to make sure your customers are satisfied. It's no way the sandwich is falling apart as I try to eat it. It's no way the bread is still completely white! Even the edges are still soft it's no way they think this is acceptable ... and it's even more sad that I frequently patronize them and this is how I am treated. We were in Baltimore for a long weekend, and our hotel was only offering a limited breakfast due to COVID. So I walked a couple of blocks and picked up breakfast from Belvedere. We got an everything bagel with nova cream cheese, a plain bagel with honey walnut cream cheese, and an egg and cheese wrap. The egg and cheese wrap took a few minutes because it was made to order. I watched them pour the eggs on the grill and melt the cheese on top! The bagels were good, too! We also grabbed a couple of coffees (they have a bunch of creamer and half and half options in the fridge to choose from). They have seating (even a table outside), but their breakfast options are also great to go! It was a satisfying breakfast, and I'd happily be a regular if I lived or worked walking distance from Belvedere! read more

However, there is a large amount of seating outside and in the immediate area. Another strength of this location is that its menu boasts a large selection. Everything I saw looked really good! Absolutely love this place! Small hold in the wall on Charles, between offices and a parking garage. Reminds me of a small corner NYC deli; good food and affordable! Never had a bad experience here! They have great breakfast options, from corned beef hash to pancakes to breakfast sandwiches on a bagel. They also have lunch options if you're looking for some chicken salad or cold cuts. I really love the variety here, and how great the staff is. They're non-nonsense type people so they're here to get you what you ask for. Great to see that kind of friendly but focused service. I'm picky with my bagels and these are definitely among the better bagels I've had in the city so far. I found this place only a block away from my house. It's on the side of the Belvedere Hotel. I ordered a waffle and it was very hot and delicious, and for only 4 bucks! Amazing! Although I found it weird that the syrup was served in a refrigerated side cup, but whatever, it warmed up as soon as I put it on the waffle. This place is very unpretentious, which is rare in Mt.
