High volume, busy Libby bar. Quick turnover with spotty service. Obstructed views of atrium shows (Corque, light show). Seats are comfortable. Couches are nice. Food is expensive For small portions. Drinks Are very small and expensive. Value here is being able to stay Olin the hotel.

Found ourselves here at the end of a busy day at The Music and Games Festival. Ample seating and room for wheel chairs to get around! Our orders were processed quickly and the Oreo cheesecake was nice! I was really able to enjoy my time here!

Inside the Gaylord Hotel this lobby bar was crowded as many convention goers went to listen to the band playing inside the lobby bar. We ordered a drink and an oreo cheesecake. The drink was ok nothing too fancy but still good. The cheesecake wasn't actually cheesecake but still delicious. The wait time in getting the cheesecake was about 20-25 min which was surprising but not really as it was crowded and many people were ordering food and drinks to sit and watch the band play.

Great view and vibe. Food is pretty nice too, limited option and carb heavy that could improve but not bad. Service on the other hand.... Lord have mercy! Always only ONE server for the whole bar which means that you'll be waiting to be waited on for absolute ever! JC please hire more waiters for the love of everything holy!

Nice bar situated in the middle of the hotel... I mean I wouldn't chose it over a real bar elsewhere. It was just convenient as I was staying here at the hotel. We got drinks straight from the bar. There was also a server going around taking orders. View of the atrium is pretty cool. Feels like you're outside. Pricing is a total ripe off, but hey, the whole Gaylord is a whole rip off.

Prices here are typical for the area, but not cheap by any means. This is a decent size bar and there isn't a lot of staff on hand, that means you can wait a good deal of time to get your fancy $15 cocktail. It's located in the middle of the Gaylord hotel and you can be seen at every angle of the hotel.

Terrible Old Fashioned that tastes like a New Orleans Hurricane. $26

Coming from a college town, I thought I knew what a bad drink was, but this takes the cake, and it's not 6-for-1. Asked the bartender if he could make a good Old Fashioned, otherwise I would just like a shot. He said he could do it so I ordered a Woodson's. As I watched him pour a layer of syrup over lemon slices in a glass, I knew I was in trouble. Then he topped w ice and liquor before flipping and shaking. Crikey. I shoulda stopped him there. Worst drink ever. There's very little to an old fashioned; he could a just poured the whisky and waived an orange over it and it would have been better. $26. Just walk away and take an Uber uptown. Or buy a bottle of whisky at the nearby CVS.

$15 for only a decent Old-Fashioned doesn't really do it for me. Like everything at National Harbor and the Gaylord, this is really overpriced given the quality. A $15 drinks needs to be balanced and flavorful, and this wasn't, though it was slightly strong. But, our server was really friendly and I appreciate the couches.

I came here over Christmas holidays... the bar had weird strict hours but I wanted and got my drinks and oyster. They were both good!

Pomegranate Bellini-looks way better than it was

I have nothing but positives to say about the Gaylord hotel itself, and this lounge is quite attractive, plus boasts a nice view of the Christmas light, sound, fountain show (which is why this is 2 stars rather than 1)... but gee whiz it otherwise sucked big time and we wish we had never spent a dime here. The two of us plopped down on bar stools on Christmas Eve with the intent of enjoying a drink or two or three...first night of vacation, had already seen the light show once, why not enjoy drinks where we could see it again? Ahhhh, paradise! Then...the strangest most unwelcoming bartender experience...felt more like we were in a used car lot. Armed with a coupon for a $7 martini (from hotel's coupon book given at check in), I wanted to use it. The martini list was teeny tiny, but I thought the pomegranate bellini sounded decent. Bartender immediately tried to discourage me from it. Thus began the big push for some champagne that he thought we should purchase for $16 a glass. Uh, could I please just have the martini? Husband also made the hideous mistake of turning down the fabulous champagne, asking for a (gasp!) Manhattan...oh my, how could he do such a thing at a bar??? How could either of us? Surely we wanted a glass of that champagne, when the whole bottle was $130??? Needless to say we were punished for our sins of wanting a Bellini and a Manhattan, with the WORST drinks ever! Bellini tasted like cough syrup and Husband said it was by far one of the worst Manhattan's he's ever had. Plus we were asked immediately to pay (even before the first sips...maybe that's why). Yep, no "do you want to start a tab?" "Do you want to bill to the room?" Just, that'll be $22. Uh, yes. My "discount" pomegranate Bellini (regular price on menu was $12), was $7 with coupon, than that meant Husband's crappy Manhattan was $15! (and no it wasn't a premium bourbon). Also found it interesting that the tab he gave us was not itemized. So he probably charged whatever he wanted Who knows? It's hard to trust a used car salesman when they're like this. Neither of us has a problem paying for quality and good times. This was neither. After we finished our crappy drinks, we were once again offered...you guessed it...the $16 a glass champagne. When we turned it down again, he did offer a taste of it. Well, why not? This has to be the best thing on the planet, right? Uh, it was okay. Certainly not $16 okay especially when we weren't wanted there to begin with. Onward we went. Glad that this was the only sour note in the whole place for us.

I love to have drinks with family and close friends and instead of looking for a bar I went to the lobby at the Belvedere Lobby bar. The bar staff was super friendly and helpful and the bar provides and intimate setting with high/low top, chairs and sofas. I sat at this bar 3 of my 5 nights for a night cap. It's almost as if we were regulars and I was on the sitcom CHEERS because as soon as we arrived we were greeted with "Hey your back, how are you tonight." Carlos was our main server and he was wonderful. Our drinks of choice were beer, tito's vodka and Carlos introduced me to Nolet gin. You can call me a fan, it was smooth. Our first night we had a server at the high top and I can't remember his name but he also was amazing. He stayed around the bar most times. Our 2nd night a female server told us we could only receive service if we sat on the couches or short tables. No worries, we were still taken care of by Carlos. He helped us celebrate my parents 47th anniversary with a French 75 toast. If at the Gaylord I would recommend getting a drink and enjoying the vibe at the Belvedere lobby.

I ran out of room giving the backstory so I cut it and and will start from here…read more ... We get there and there is a line. Not a long one but it wasn't moving so one of us says "Let's get a table". Guess which one didn't say that. While they are deciding if we are going to get a table, I read the dress code. It said not sweat pants but my sweats weren't bad. What I was wearing looks like casual sweats that a ball player would be wearing so when I asked if I would be able to get in, the guy was like yeah, no problem. I was a little suspicious and my boy started laughing because it seemed like dude didn't even let me finish my question before he said yeah. He must have know how smooth I was and how I would add appeal to the club LOL. My thought was we would stand in line and enter because the main reason we were going to do bottle service was to ensure we get in with what we were wearing. Come to find out, we were entertaining bottle service because we are old and they wanted to ensure they had a place to sit down. So we tell them we want to get a table and this is when we get to see the staff in action. Up to this point, we only see out front security dude and a lady letting people in at a slow pace. They go get someone to arrange our table and they walk us in. The dude that walks us in is very professional. I thought he was walking us into a safe deposit box in a vault the way he handled us. It was nice. We get in and there is a section to our right of younger people, mid 20's it turned out and 2 were having a birthday. They were pretty mellow but they were coupled up. Once the single women started to join the party, it was a whole different vibe. Table was a $850 spend which I thought was a bit much for this place. I mean, it's in the MGM but it isn't Vegas which was only $150 more. I got Uncle Nearest because supporting black businesses is important to me and a bottle of Grey Goose because we don't drink Tequilla and we love Grey Goose. We asked for ginger beer, cranberry juice, orange juice and sprite. We didn't get the ginger beer at first but we did get ginger ale. Eventually they brought out the ginger beer but that took a while. However, that didn't matter because it took even longer to bring out the spirits. I don't remember the woman's name but she was a good server. She was reasonably attentive considering it seemed like she had a lot of tables to attend to. There were times we had to stop her as she walked by because we needed something. She was obviously preoccupied with what the other table asked of her but we also needed something so I stopped her and asked if they had stir straws that you get in rock glasses because we had full size soda straws but only rock glasses and that don't work well. She did get some straws cut for us in a timely manner. I'm just going to come right out and say it. There were way too many dudes in there. I don't know if it was more balanced at one point and the women were just like, nah and rolled out but I hope they weren't just letting people in because they were in line. I am a compassionate person and I understand it's a struggle to get into some clubs at times but you have to keep the balance. I know you want to make money and dudes spend money but they spend more money if women are in there. I guess some money is better than no money but I think it taints the brand. I'm not pressed to go back because it had to be 11 guys to 1 woman. Now, we weren't out for that but the ratio is still the appeal. The DJ was pretty good. I don't remember when he actually started spinning because I was focused on the game and didn't notice him til the TV went off which I'm guessing is when he got up there. I hope my vision wasn't that focused on the game that I didn't see a DJ standing right there but there wasn't really much of anything to watch but the game unless I wanted to watch a club full of dudes watch the 6 women dancing together on the dance floor. Most of the people dancing were couples that look like they came together and groups of girls. I saw two girls dance with what seemed like randoms but everyone else was just standing around. I guess they were taking just a break from gambling. It wasn't a bad experience but it wasn't one that makes me want to go back anytime soon. If this service was in a different place or if it was a better night the review would be slightly different. They can't help that I chose to come out on this specific date but it was a Friday and we did stay til they kicked us out. Yup! The old dudes shut that piece down! LOL.

You MUST go on "Felt Friday". Its a whole vibe. I appreciate the dress code because everyone looks…read moreso nice and pretty...everyone always has good energy and easy to talk to. I usually go solo and party with random awesome people. The drinks are pricey but ladies not to worry, a nice gentleman will treat you to a drink or two. The dj is usually good as well. I typically have a great time here.

We ended up in the larger ballroom for the night exploring as it offered the most space, tables and chairs, and ample bar space which meant no long lines. We did the VIP-Food ticket, but I don't think it's worth it. So I knocked off a star. The main ballroom for general admission had so much space and the food option was only pasta. In my opinion a main event ticket is good enough and the extra price tag for VIP or food isn't worth it. Overall, it was a fun night.

This was my husband and I third year attending this event. We always buy the Red Velvet package…read more The first year we loved everything about it and couldn't wait to come back. However the second year we were so disappointed that we said we weren't going back, (I also wrote a review last year, if you're interested) but our friends convinced us to give it one more try and I can truly say with absolute certainty, we will not be going back! Now, let me begin by saying there was some improvements from last year. Last year they cut back from the year before. They cut back on the food, on the souvenirs, and on the music, it was horrible. This year however they did have great souvenirs and the music was much much better. The food was also good. So as we sat in the Red Velvet Ballroom ate our dinner and listened to the music we were thinking, ok, we're off to a good start. But after we left the Red Velvet Ballroom, that was the end of a wonderful evening. Since this was our third year, we didn't waste time visiting all the ballrooms, we already knew where we wanted to go so we went straight to it....the Pose Lounge! But within the first 10 minutes of arriving, we were greatly disappointed. We found a nice sitting area that would accommodate our group of four, however the table was covered with dirty glasses and trash from the people that were sitting there before. No problem, or so we thought, we'll just ask someone to clean it up. My husband went to find someone, he was gone for over 20 minutes so I went to see what was taking him so long. When I saw his face I could tell he was pissed! He was pissed because he was getting nothing but attitude from the employees when he asked someone to clear the table and wipe it down. No one was willing to do it. But he was determined he wasn't leaving until someone came over and cleared our table. Finally, when no one was willing to do it, he asked for a manager. The manager finally got someone to come over and clear the table. But that whole process took about 45 minutes! 45 minutes to get someone to come over and clear the nasty #@$ glasses from our table! We finally sat down had a few drinks, and danced a little. Then one of our friends suggested we go upstairs to the next level to check it out. I'd never been upstairs so I was eager to see what was up there. When I first got up there I was very impressed. It was very cozy and quaint. I thought wow, I want to stay up here. The lights were dimmer, there was more seating and it was even a little romantic. But again, every table we went to was covered with dirty glasses and trash. So off again my husband went to find someone to clear a table, but he never could get anyone to come over this time. Several other people that had been up there awhile said they gave up asking and cleared their own table. There was no way we were going to pay almost a $1,000 and bus our own dam table! At that point we just left and went back to our room! We will NEVER attend this event, or the Pose lounge again. They are nasty, rude, and very unprofessional people. I don't recommend anyone spend this much money to attend this event. It just isn't worth it. Take your money someplace else!!!
