I ran out of room giving the backstory so I cut it and and will start from here. ... We get there and there is a line. Not a long one but it wasn't moving so one of us says "Let's get a table". Guess which one didn't say that. While they are deciding if we are going to get a table, I read the dress code. It said not sweat pants but my sweats weren't bad. What I was wearing looks like casual sweats that a ball player would be wearing so when I asked if I would be able to get in, the guy was like yeah, no problem. I was a little suspicious and my boy started laughing because it seemed like dude didn't even let me finish my question before he said yeah. He must have know how smooth I was and how I would add appeal to the club LOL. My thought was we would stand in line and enter because the main reason we were going to do bottle service was to ensure we get in with what we were wearing. Come to find out, we were entertaining bottle service because we are old and they wanted to ensure they had a place to sit down. So we tell them we want to get a table and this is when we get to see the staff in action. Up to this point, we only see out front security dude and a lady letting people in at a slow pace. They go get someone to arrange our table and they walk us in. The dude that walks us in is very professional. I thought he was walking us into a safe deposit box in a vault the way he handled us. It was nice. We get in and there is a section to our right of younger people, mid 20's it turned out and 2 were having a birthday. They were pretty mellow but they were coupled up. Once the single women started to join the party, it was a whole different vibe. Table was a $850 spend which I thought was a bit much for this place. I mean, it's in the MGM but it isn't Vegas which was only $150 more. I got Uncle Nearest because supporting black businesses is important to me and a bottle of Grey Goose because we don't drink Tequilla and we love Grey Goose. We asked for ginger beer, cranberry juice, orange juice and sprite. We didn't get the ginger beer at first but we did get ginger ale. Eventually they brought out the ginger beer but that took a while. However, that didn't matter because it took even longer to bring out the spirits. I don't remember the woman's name but she was a good server. She was reasonably attentive considering it seemed like she had a lot of tables to attend to. There were times we had to stop her as she walked by because we needed something. She was obviously preoccupied with what the other table asked of her but we also needed something so I stopped her and asked if they had stir straws that you get in rock glasses because we had full size soda straws but only rock glasses and that don't work well. She did get some straws cut for us in a timely manner. I'm just going to come right out and say it. There were way too many dudes in there. I don't know if it was more balanced at one point and the women were just like, nah and rolled out but I hope they weren't just letting people in because they were in line. I am a compassionate person and I understand it's a struggle to get into some clubs at times but you have to keep the balance. I know you want to make money and dudes spend money but they spend more money if women are in there. I guess some money is better than no money but I think it taints the brand. I'm not pressed to go back because it had to be 11 guys to 1 woman. Now, we weren't out for that but the ratio is still the appeal. The DJ was pretty good. I don't remember when he actually started spinning because I was focused on the game and didn't notice him til the TV went off which I'm guessing is when he got up there. I hope my vision wasn't that focused on the game that I didn't see a DJ standing right there but there wasn't really much of anything to watch but the game unless I wanted to watch a club full of dudes watch the 6 women dancing together on the dance floor. Most of the people dancing were couples that look like they came together and groups of girls. I saw two girls dance with what seemed like randoms but everyone else was just standing around. I guess they were taking just a break from gambling. It wasn't a bad experience but it wasn't one that makes me want to go back anytime soon. If this service was in a different place or if it was a better night the review would be slightly different. I've been coming to FELT for years, never check in, never reviewed. Here goes nothing. Felt has always had a more mature crowd (that's a good thing). Tables are 1500 for the outside and 750 for inside. They definitely run this place like a club. I appreciate it because if I'm out, it's almost always a group setting. Paying for a table will always be the way to go, at least for me. You can sit at the bar or hang out at the high top tables. I've learned to appreciate Felt because you never worry about paying for parking, if you get bored you can go throw away money at the casino, and the music is always decent. There is no food, you have to go to the food court but other than that, it's decent! Luckily my significant other was able to smoke his cigar there too which is a WIN! They do have hookah so if that's your thing you are in luck! Management is super awesome and always takes great care of me. Waitresses are always the best! Attire: You can wear anything. I had girlfriends come into town without "club" clothes and one friend came straight from a Nationals game with her "baseball" attire. I went to felt for the first time and had a lot of fun. Very nice space good size. Definitely an older crowd so if you like 40 and over crowds this is perfect. They don't serve food so eat before you get there. The bar was busy but I had a table so I can really speak on that. The music was great! People were really having a good time. The only reason I took a Star away was because our table was behind a big boulder so if you like feeling disconnected, it's perfect but I like still being able to see what's going on so it was a little annoying. I went to check out Felt Lounge during my National Harbor staycation. I had to walk through the casino to get to Felt. I was the only customer in there on Friday at 6pm. At first it felt exclusive, then it felt empty. I stayed until around 8pm. My phone battery ran out, and the bar was unable to charge my phone. Three more customers came in while I was there. The cocktails are excellent. I had a couple of Underneath the Sheets cocktail. My waitress was attentive and checked on me periodically. I would have preferred more bodies in the lounge, but I loved the ambiance. It's a beautiful, upscale, sexy lounge. I noticed all of the comfortable couches and tables, and outside seating were reserved. I was allowed to sit at a reserved table. The high top chairs and tables were open seating. If I'm staying at the MGM or in the area, I'll definitely grab drinks there again. I wouldn't drive out of my way just to go to this lounge. read more

Just a overpriced hotel bar/lounge inside of the casino that's trying to be a club. It's nice to look at and you can reserve a seated area. You have to weave through the Casino crowd in order to get to Felt. On the Saturday night I went it was 750. The area only had enough room to seat 4-5 comfortably. There was a small table in the center to sit your drinks. There is a dress code for this bar so no athletic apparel or tennis shoes allowed. Also no hats are allowed at all. It's really nice when you have a reserved area because a waitress will come over and take your drinks orders as well as them on your tab. However if you choose to go to the bar you'll have to pay as you go because they can't add it to the tab for your reserved table. Make sure you arrive before 9 PM otherwise you will have to pay a $20 cover charge. I think on Saturday nights they have a live DJ playing old school R&B music which was right up my alley. There is no bathroom inside of the bar area so you'll have to go back out into the main casino in order to use a restroom. Domestic beers were nine dollars a bottle imports were 10 or 11. The cocktails are on the expensive side as well. Wouldn't be my first choice of a place to go but the group decided on this spot for a birthday celebration so I came along. read more

Awesome spot to hang out on the weekends! Great atmosphere, mature crowd and good music! If you want stiff drinks and chill ambiance this place has it. The lounge space is open and there's seating through out. There are big screen TVs around the bar which are great for catching a game or watching sports. There's also an outdoor area and patio available which is perfect for the warmer months. I love that this bar has a good cocktail menu and they also have cigars to buy and smoke outside. Throughout the week, this place goes from DJ nights to Piano Bar...to Guest singers, club night and everything in between. Just a heads up before going, there is a semi-dress code and the drinks are not cheap here! The drinks can easily run you between $15 to $20 bucks, but I must admit that they are just how I like it....STRONG AND NO FRILLS! Also, an added plus is that you are allowed to take your drinks from the bar and enjoy elsewhere throughout the MGM. Another note of mention, this lounge does not offer food and there are no restrooms....which is fine by me. There are plenty restrooms and food options around the MGM; including a food court. Other than this, I find FELT to be a great spot to hang out while at the MGM or to frequent before/after dinner or the casino. Synchronicity since we didn't know there was a dress code. The host at the door was polite and outgoing. He let us know free seating was by the bar. The lounge areas were beautifully decorated and empty. Minimum ordering at the comfy lounge area is $100. They don't serve food. The bar area is beautiful. The wide screen television is easy to watch from seats at the counter and tables. The bartender was busy dealing with people ordering drinks. He wasn't noticing me. One time we got a section outside and it was cool. Felt Bar and Lounge is the official club /lounge at MGM. It's inside the casino near the slot machines. You can find the local Pg county folks, tourists, and business meeting folks there! While you can come in jeans, I wouldn't recommend it. The place is very sexy. The bartenders usually have a lace black dress on and are serious eye candy! On the weekend, the enforce a dress code. It's typically free before 9pm.. While the drinks are expensive, they are always amazing. I suggest the side car or one night stand. The lounge doesn't serve food so don't go hungry. In the nicer weather, they open the patio and you can sit outside , smoke a cigar, and take amazing pictures. If you want a seat, I suggest you get there early ... before 8pm. I don't know what's going on in 2024 but on the night of the Feb 24th they did not enforce the dress code, they overly packed the lounge & the DJ decent for the most part. I brought my friend here for her birthday for the first time because I was raving how it's a fun place & great environment, but I was so embarrassed to see that it went downhill. I've been to Felt a few times now so this is collectively my review of experience there. First I want to say that I've never gone on a Friday or Saturday night. It's always been a Thursday the times I've gone. I've been playing this online game for years called MyVegas where I've earned credit to be able to do table service and/or get drinks free. I had no issue using the reward when I go to the front desk and check last minute if I can book a table at Felt. The service I've had has been very good overall and there's a great assistant manager Tariq that has made those experiences good memories with family and friends celebrating birthdays or just hanging out for drinks. The prices are not "cheap" if you order a drink. Go somewhere else if you are not trying to pay for the environment with $14/15 drinks. It's in a casino - people are splurging money lol The one time I redeemed table service with free bottle of vodka it was priced at $375 in the menu I and had three mixers with it. Another time I redeemed table service with champagne and that was over $500 listed in the menu! I would never pay that out of pocket since I prefer to splurge money traveling but having free rewards to get it complimentary was awesome times. If I could give negative 0 stars I would. This establishment has unfair and inconsistent discriminatory practices with who they choose to let in, in terms of dress code. I had a guy friend get in with sneakers, step out to use the rest room and came back only to be told he couldn't get back in because of his sneakers. There were several women who got in with sandals in our group then one of us they told she couldn't get in because of "backless shoes". When you question them for their clear inconsistency they respond rudely if at all because it's clear there's no logic behind their practices. A very disappointing establishment and ownership. I've been to this place only on Sunday's when there is a big party with a DJ. I went just this past Sunday with my honey sweetie. The DJ did a good job up until the end but that's just because he was playing music that wasn't my taste. It was packed full of people but every one was adulting so no issues. The bar had tons of folks but the bar tenders were attentive and got our order correct. They were pleasant. We had a little space to dance. They do have VIP areas with table service. There's a USB and outlet charger underneath the bar to charge your phone. ****Cons*** 12/25 Christmas day at 11pm-2am - The bartenders or staff does not clean the bar area after every use. The bar was sticky and dirty when we made the staff aware, the bartender said "I can't reach back there" then handed the guy next to me a wash-cloth to wipe the area down himself. I was shocked and couldn't believe the staff had a customer to do it. When he was finished, he sat the wash-cloth on the bar and it sat there for over 15 minutes before someone removed it. Makes you wonder about the sanitary aspect of this place and whether the washcloth was even clean in the first place. When do they clean it or does it get clean at all?!? We got a VIP section with bottle service for my friend's birthday tonight. See had to pay a minimum of $750 for drinks for the night. That was fine with us. We were prepared to drink a lot and make it worth it. This place had the absolute worst service we ever had in our whole life. The waitress probably came over 4 times. They know they were guaranteed at least $750 from our group, so they have absolutely no incentive to come serve us. I had 3 glasses of wine the whole night with major delays in between, because the waitress was nowhere to be found. Also, they said our section would seat 8, but they would bring over 2 more seats so we could fit 10. When we got there, there was seating for 6 only, so a lot people had to stand. The worst service in general that I have ever experienced. Save your money. It's a shame though, because the music is great, and the decor is nice, and it's an easy access club. If you go there and you want to drink, you're better off not booking a VIP section and not having bottle service. We get better service at a dive bar in Old Town!!! read more

This club tried to "deny" entry on my birthday. Due to me having on the "incorrect shoes" because it didn't have a strap on the back. I have a room here and decided to not wear heels , however i have on a appropriate attire to attend. We decided to stand around the exit and found out that it's multiple females with the same kind of shoe that entered so we don't understand why it's multiple ppl with the same shoe style allowed access while we were denied.. we also attended this same club June 23rd with the same type of style shoe and was allowed access.. very inconsistent with the dress code. I shouldn't have to go upstairs To change a shoe I've consistently wore to the same club or see females walk out with the same style shoe I have on.. already spent enough money at the MGM. We had our drinks and an open tab, the waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Here is where the insanity begins... My buddy and I get up to use the rest room and come back, the doorman tells us both that they have a dress code and won't let us back in with the rest of our party of 4! Now mind you the place wasn't crowded this Friday evening and we had been there for at least an hour or more....you literally saw us get up to use the restroom. If MGM wants to make money and stem layoffs, train your management and employees on customer service. Never again...money will be spent elsewhere. read more

Patrons, please take heed of the name "... Bar & Lounge". This is NOT a nightclub although it may sound that way from the outside and slightly appear that way on the inside. For a first visit, this place was so chill. The DJ was on point! I don't remember the last time I visited a bar/lounge where every song had me dancing almost until closing... 3am!!!! You can reserve tables online with a minimum spending amount of $750 (tables seats up to 8) or per person entry fee is $20. Upscale casual dress code "enforced" after 9pm but I did see a few people with hoodies on. This establishment is relatively small with an outdoor space but on the night visited, rain and cold prevented access to that area BUT it would have been great to have the doors opened for a bit for a cooler breeze to flow throughout the place. The relatively mature crowd made for a good atmosphere, a good crowd and a good time. The bartenders made great cocktails (I can only attest to one) but be advised if you dance yourself into having a hunger craving.... there is no food for purchase. This is definitely a place to hang out with the girls or a fun, energetic date night with that special someone. read more
