    Unicorn and Vodka RedBull

Very fancy and fun cocktails here! There are tables and chairs available for anyone to lounge, but they also have tables inside for gambling. They have my very favorite cocktail the Unicorn Express! It's a super fun cocktail and tastes great.

Over my birthday weekend, my friend and I had dinner reservations at Voltaggio Brothers Steakhouse located inside MGM so we decided to pregame at Blossom as it looked very inviting from the outside. Blossom is located right inside the casino and it's hard to miss because of its purple-ish lights and rose-y walls. The lounge offers a cozy interior with a few gaming tables, several booths, two communal tables and low seated tables with comfy couches and chairs. Since it was only around 5-6 pm on a Sunday, we were able to grab the table we wanted and our waitress (Theresa) was there shortly after. We shared Effen Delicious ($12), Foggy Bottom ($14) and Nellie Blossom ($16). All colorful and pretty drinks, mixes of vodka or whiskey with something sweet. Would get all of them again. Theresa was awesome! She was friendly and helpful, and just had a nice personality. I can see myself going back to Blossom in the near future (if/when in the area).

Never knew this gem existed because i try to avoid going to the mgm. I was glad i didnt pass up the opportunity on a rainy holiday weekend though! I heard some good music coming out of this lounge and decided to go check it out. I love the ambience and relation to DC cherry blossoms. The staff were nice and attentive. It was a bit crowded but we were offered a table as soon as one became available whihc was great! Their drinks were really good. I love fruity cocktails so it was just perfect for me. They had a live DJ was made it even better i love his selection of music. I LOVE AFROBEATS!! He was right on target with that! I would definitely have a night out here soon again!

Had a Nellie Blossom for $16. Expected a marked up price, it's in a casino. It was really good! They only have cocktails. No food.

I have been going since its first opened and I love the Nelle Cocktail. It is my go-to because of the Cherry Blossom tea in it. I will say it does get crowded between 10 pm and after. I also went for a few events and the staff were very nice. You are welcomed to sit anywhere unless it is reserved which isn't that much. The waitresses dress very nicely and very polite. The colors of the lounge are cherry blossoms hence the name, but it gives such a lux feel, even when you aren't dressed up. That's one other thing, unlike Felt the sister lounge around the corner, the dress code is very relaxed. I think this is why I pick this location over Felt. If you visit stop by and have a pricy drink. If you have the MGM app you can get a $1 drink like I do, and enjoy the sites and sounds around me.

Nice Vibe I've been here a few times after gambling almost all my money away. The inside is very nice and modern; the servers are dressed very nice and classy. They are very attentive as well. If you want to play blackjack while enjoying a more classier atmosphere you can play it here. They have table service which you pay for, I believe they start at 500. Don't quote me though. They also have regular tables you can sit without a deposit. They also have bar tables as well, It would be awesome if they served food. Maybe in near the future? The drinks are okay, every time I come here they never have the right ingredients for the Nellie Blossom martini. You would think, I'm guessing, it's their signature drink they would have an endless supply. I mean come on, I've been here 3 times and every time they do not have the drink. You can tell I really want to try it lolol. The bartender suggested the Potomac Sunset; the drink was okay, nothing special.. Hopefully the next time, they will have it however i'm not too optimistic about it.

Greatest cocktail I have had in a very long time. Prices are expected to be high due to being in a casino. Rapid service. Great music for dancing. I will definitely return. Highly recommend if you are at the MGM.

I stopped by a few afternoons ago after an event for wedding professionals on the hotel side of MGM with two friends. We weren't greeted upon entering so we assumed we could find our own seats. The place wasn't too busy so it wasn't hard to find a seat. Within seconds of sitting down, our server came by. She was super sweet, polite, and professional. She told us about two drink specials they had that weren't on the menu. I can't remember the names but a friend and I ended up getting the specials. My friend's had tequila and rosemary and was sweet and pink. Mine had gin and basil and wasn't too sweet. The drinks came in tall glasses 90% filled with ice. I wasn't too thrilled about how much ice they put in the glass, but since the glass was tall and filled all the way it was fine. We had a little trouble tracking down our waitress when we were ready to leave, but other than that it was a pretty pleasant visit. I imagine it gets super busy in the evenings though and probably hard to find a seat.

I always enjoy just sitting and drinking the delicious cocktails they make and people watch. People sitting at the tables gambling and the best old school music playing in the background. I sit there for about and hour or two like you down home sitting on the front porch watching the day play out.

Thank you for having such an on point DJ! Casper was ah-mazing! Looking forward to coming back pretty much every Saturday that I'm around. Over 20,000 steps in 4 hours...enough said.

Stopped in for a few moments, it's definitely a little too bright they could dim the lights a little. Music was on point hip hop and R&b.

Not a long one but it wasn't moving so one of us says "Let's get a table". Guess which one didn't say that. While they are deciding if we are going to get a table, I read the dress code. It said not sweat pants but my sweats weren't bad. What I was wearing looks like casual sweats that a ball player would be wearing so when I asked if I would be able to get in, the guy was like yeah, no problem. I was a little suspicious and my boy started laughing because it seemed like dude didn't even let me finish my question before he said yeah. He must have know how smooth I was and how I would add appeal to the club LOL. My thought was we would stand in line and enter because the main reason we were going to do bottle service was to ensure we get in with what we were wearing. Come to find out, we were entertaining bottle service because we are old and they wanted to ensure they had a place to sit down. So we tell them we want to get a table and this is when we get to see the staff in action. Up to this point, we only see out front security dude and a lady letting people in at a slow pace. They go get someone to arrange our table and they walk us in. The dude that walks us in is very professional. I thought he was walking us into a safe deposit box in a vault the way he handled us. It was nice. We get in and there is a section to our right of younger people, mid 20's it turned out and 2 were having a birthday. They were pretty mellow but they were coupled up. Once the single women started to join the party, it was a whole different vibe. Table was a $850 spend which I thought was a bit much for this place. I mean, it's in the MGM but it isn't Vegas which was only $150 more. I got Uncle Nearest because supporting black businesses is important to me and a bottle of Grey Goose because we don't drink Tequilla and we love Grey Goose. We asked for ginger beer, cranberry juice, orange juice and sprite. We didn't get the ginger beer at first but we did get ginger ale. Eventually they brought out the ginger beer but that took a while. However, that didn't matter because it took even longer to bring out the spirits. I don't remember the woman's name but she was a good server. She was reasonably attentive considering it seemed like she had a lot of tables to attend to. There were times we had to stop her as she walked by because we needed something. She was obviously preoccupied with what the other table asked of her but we also needed something so I stopped her and asked if they had stir straws that you get in rock glasses because we had full size soda straws but only rock glasses and that don't work well. She did get some straws cut for us in a timely manner. I'm just going to come right out and say it. There were way too many dudes in there. I don't know if it was more balanced at one point and the women were just like, nah and rolled out but I hope they weren't just letting people in because they were in line. I am a compassionate person and I understand it's a struggle to get into some clubs at times but you have to keep the balance. I know you want to make money and dudes spend money but they spend more money if women are in there. I guess some money is better than no money but I think it taints the brand. I'm not pressed to go back because it had to be 11 guys to 1 woman. Now, we weren't out for that but the ratio is still the appeal. The DJ was pretty good. I don't remember when he actually started spinning because I was focused on the game and didn't notice him til the TV went off which I'm guessing is when he got up there. I hope my vision wasn't that focused on the game that I didn't see a DJ standing right there but there wasn't really much of anything to watch but the game unless I wanted to watch a club full of dudes watch the 6 women dancing together on the dance floor. Most of the people dancing were couples that look like they came together and groups of girls. I saw two girls dance with what seemed like randoms but everyone else was just standing around. I guess they were taking just a break from gambling. It wasn't a bad experience but it wasn't one that makes me want to go back anytime soon. If this service was in a different place or if it was a better night the review would be slightly different. They can't help that I chose to come out on this specific date but it was a Friday and we did stay til they kicked us out. Yup! The old dudes shut that piece down! LOL.

We ended up in the larger ballroom for the night exploring as it offered the most space, tables and chairs, and ample bar space which meant no long lines. We did the VIP-Food ticket, but I don't think it's worth it. So I knocked off a star. The main ballroom for general admission had so much space and the food option was only pasta. In my opinion a main event ticket is good enough and the extra price tag for VIP or food isn't worth it. Overall, it was a fun night.

However the second year we were so disappointed that we said we weren't going back, (I also wrote a review last year, if you're interested) but our friends convinced us to give it one more try and I can truly say with absolute certainty, we will not be going back! Now, let me begin by saying there was some improvements from last year. Last year they cut back from the year before. They cut back on the food, on the souvenirs, and on the music, it was horrible. This year however they did have great souvenirs and the music was much much better. The food was also good. So as we sat in the Red Velvet Ballroom ate our dinner and listened to the music we were thinking, ok, we're off to a good start. But after we left the Red Velvet Ballroom, that was the end of a wonderful evening. Since this was our third year, we didn't waste time visiting all the ballrooms, we already knew where we wanted to go so we went straight to it....the Pose Lounge! But within the first 10 minutes of arriving, we were greatly disappointed. We found a nice sitting area that would accommodate our group of four, however the table was covered with dirty glasses and trash from the people that were sitting there before. No problem, or so we thought, we'll just ask someone to clean it up. My husband went to find someone, he was gone for over 20 minutes so I went to see what was taking him so long. When I saw his face I could tell he was pissed! He was pissed because he was getting nothing but attitude from the employees when he asked someone to clear the table and wipe it down. No one was willing to do it. But he was determined he wasn't leaving until someone came over and cleared our table. Finally, when no one was willing to do it, he asked for a manager. The manager finally got someone to come over and clear the table. But that whole process took about 45 minutes! 45 minutes to get someone to come over and clear the nasty #@$ glasses from our table! We finally sat down had a few drinks, and danced a little. Then one of our friends suggested we go upstairs to the next level to check it out. I'd never been upstairs so I was eager to see what was up there. When I first got up there I was very impressed. It was very cozy and quaint. I thought wow, I want to stay up here. The lights were dimmer, there was more seating and it was even a little romantic. But again, every table we went to was covered with dirty glasses and trash. So off again my husband went to find someone to clear a table, but he never could get anyone to come over this time. Several other people that had been up there awhile said they gave up asking and cleared their own table. There was no way we were going to pay almost a $1,000 and bus our own dam table! At that point we just left and went back to our room! We will NEVER attend this event, or the Pose lounge again. They are nasty, rude, and very unprofessional people. I don't recommend anyone spend this much money to attend this event. It just isn't worth it. Take your money someplace else!!!
