Fave Orlando Mall! This one reminds me of UTC Mall in Sarasota. While walking through I need to…read moreremind myself where I am. Walking through here it is so nice and we usually come here when it's raining or super hot outside. We always have our dog with us and they are super dog friendly here. So many great stores and restaurants here and the area is very central. Check this out for the list of stores bc there's so many I can't even remember - https://www.mallatmillenia.com/shopping-dining/

The food court has lots of options for good food, fast and not so fast too. Plenty of parking even though it can get crowded. I usually go there when I need to get a specific item. The place itself is clean, I liked that they're not the usually kiosks or sales people trying to sell you things, that's a plus for me when it comes to choosing a mall. I have some places that I like to go there for food, like the Cheesecake Factory and PF Changs. My daughter likes that there's a Claire's, and all the other Claire's around that we know are now closed. They have unique places when it comes to luxury brands, plenty of parking, but in peak season time can get difficult to find a parking close to the entrance. I go sometimes, and meet friends since it's near the touristic/universal studios area. They also have a big Apple store, that occasionally visit.

One of my favorite outdoor mall-esque shopping areas…read more This was my first experience at a HardRock cafe, and I love the smashed Godsmack guitar by the Register in the gift shop. I also love the AMC and going to VooDoo doughnuts when I'm in the area. It's fun as a standalone trip, or something to do after going to the parks.

Honestly .. I had extremely low expectations…read more Theme Parks have never been my thing typically in the past ... but as the years go by I've been progressively impressed with the varieties of activities, restaurants & entertainment offered by these big megaplexes. I thought that the choices of food was going to be underwhelming .. it wasn't. Truly surprised. Truly impressed. There is something to do for all ages. Remember to wear your MOST comfortable long wearing shoe you have cuz you're going to walk a LOT. You will get your exercise and steps in. Make sure you drink plenty of water& electrolytes... it's stupid hot at these types of places .. yes you can go inside air conditioned buildings to cool off .. but that's only to tempt you to buy things .. lol. Can't believe I was here at Universal City Walk 25 years .., it's only been here for 27 years ... so seeing how this place has matured over the years and how many new options they are putting in place .. I'm impressed with all the offerings I'm looking forward to trying that steakhouse that looks so modern and cool inside... it's called : BigFire. And .. another one that's catching my eye is The Palm. But we all know The Palm is always top tier .. top notch . Fantastic experience so I'd like to try BigFire. Has anyone tried Big Fire ? And did you like it ?

If you're looking for a typical mall experience on steroids, the Florida Mall is the way to go…read more I've never disliked this mall, but it definitely has a different feel than other local shopping centers. It is filled with tourists due to the connected hotel and proximity to the airport, so even on a Tuesday it felt packed in here. The layout feels almost like a labyrinth but there is a lot of signage on where to go. Most of the stores are ones you can find at most malls, but there are quite a bit of 'unique' stores as well. You've also got the Crayola experience, which is pretty large. While this mall wouldn't be my first choice to go to, it does do the trick if you're needing your fix of big name stores.

Visited The Florida Mall again for Xmas in July. Really love this event…read more They had some free samples like chocolates and churros and soap making and face painting and free Santa pics and some other pic OPPs. Last year we went and they had Christmas flamingos. They had more this year. They also passed out Christmas bags with Simon mall logo on them. I would be back for this event. My issue with The Florida Mall is that the A/C doesn't work well. It's a huge mall with tons of shops and tons of people walking around. They are so busy. We were looking for stores with the best A/C bc we couldn't really beat the heat here. Primark has the best A/C. Along with Armani Exchange, Ghirardelli bc of their chocolates, and The TNS Store. I wish I could have stayed longer but the lack of A/C made me want to leave. I very much loved the Xmas in July Event and Santa, Mrs. Claus, the elves, the photographer, and the other people working were so nice. The AC is sure lacking and this was the issue last year. Perhaps the big space, older mall and open ceiling exposing the sunshine sure doesn't help. This is a very popular mall. It could def be better here.

I love Disney Springs and so does my family!…read more We usually stop at Disney Springs for dinner and enjoy walking around shopping and taking in the sites and sounds of Disney. When we don't have a park day scheduled, this becomes our alternative park day and it hits the spot. Plenty of food, options, music, and all the Disney shopping you can handle.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I think Disney Springs, formerly Downtown Disney, has fallen out…read moreof favor with me a little bit. Maybe it's because I'm older now, but I find the whole experience much more exhausting than I remember. It's incredibly hot, and it feels like everything has been engineered around getting you to spend money. Want to sit down somewhere? It seems like you need to be eating, drinking, shopping, or otherwise spending money to have access to a comfortable place to sit. Sometimes I just want to sit for a few minutes, enjoy the scenery, people-watch, and take a break without having to buy something. I don't care what age you are. Sometimes you just need somewhere to sit. The food was decent, but honestly, I can find good food in plenty of other places without having to navigate the whole parking situation, walk through security, and then spend money every time I turn around. The constant retail focus and pressure to spend money just doesn't create a particularly relaxed environment for me anymore. What's funny is that I remember coming here when I was 27 and being completely blown away by it. Back then, I thought Downtown Disney was incredible. I even spent a few nights going to the clubs, and those nights were absolutely epic and fun. I have some great memories from that time. But today, the experience feels different to me. Everything seems so carefully designed to extract another dollar from you that it starts to feel almost mercenary. There's nothing wrong with a business wanting to make money, but when the commercial aspect becomes so noticeable that it affects your ability to simply relax and enjoy being there, it changes the experience. I think I've reached a point where I'd rather spend my time somewhere with a lower-stress atmosphere. I want to go somewhere, walk around, enjoy the scenery, sit down when I feel like it, and have a good time without constantly feeling like every basic comfort comes with a price tag. Maybe it's me getting older. Maybe it's Disney Springs changing. Maybe it's both. But these days, I'd rather spend my money somewhere that makes me feel like a guest instead of a walking wallet.
