I called Bobby at Benari March of 25 looking for a watch. He said he didn't have in stock but should have before September. I again followed up in June and he couldn't have been nicer or more pleasant to deal with and again said he should have before September. Keep in mind other Rolex dealers had no idea when they would be getting watch and other people are telling me to pay 3k more because it will be a few years before I get watch. Bobby called me on 8/8 and had the exact watch I wanted. My wife and I went in and got watch. I have been dealing with people for 40 years and rarely if ever has someone done what they said they would do, been nice, been professional, not try to take advantage of you. Five stars doesn't seem like enough to express how pleased we are with our experience at Benari in Newtown Square. We needed help restoring and sizing a 1940's engagement and wedding ring set. Because of the sentimental value of the rings, which belonged to a beloved grandmother, we wanted someone who would understand the value and would fix it with care. Benari was the right choice. Robert took time to examine the ring and even found engravings that we knew nothing about! He was very helpful in explaining what needed to be done and suggested a milgrain as well. I went to this store to look at Rolex watches as it is near my work and not a lot of establishments are licensed to sell them. I called to see if I would be able to come without an appointment and was told just to come on in when I could, so I came in ten minutes later. They helped me immediately and let me look at as many pieces as I wanted--they even stayed open a late because I took ~40 minutes. There was no pressure to buy the most expensive option and they helped me to find the perfect piece in size, color, and style. DO NOT SELL YOUR GOLD HERE. If you are looking to sell gold here do your homework on what what you own first. I walked in for a quote to sell a 14k gold chain (i've been to 3 other jewelers for quotes before here the same day) and Benari Jewelers gave me a laughable quote on my piece nearly half its worth in scrap gold. I told them that days current price per gram of 14k gold and what other jewelers quoted my jewelry's value. They pretended they "didn't understand" where or how I got it's quoted value from and wouldn't explain why their quote was so low. Obviously everything is contextual to these interactions, but from an honest standpoint I believe they were hoping I didn't do my homework on it's value to scam me. The overall vibe I got was a relatively snide attitude from the whole team there. Definitely not helpful with selling gold. Wasted my time. read more

I was referred to Benari (specifically Rachel) through an out-of-state friend whose family had connections to Rachel, and I'm so grateful that I went/have been going to Benari. She never pushed me to stretch my budget, and she listened to everything I had said. My time in Philadelphia is quickly coming to an end and I am moving to Cleveland this summer. I was on a house-hunting trip with my fiancée and we were driving back from Cleveland for a late afternoon appointment with Rachel to make decisions on wedding bands. I got in a car accident on the way back and we weren't able to make it to the store before it closed (a lot of jewelry stores have to close at a set time for insurance reasons). Benari offers a large variety of different brands, styles, and sizes. And if they don't have it, they can get it quickly and you can see it in person.
