My Volvo hybrid died at the end of my long driveway and needed to be towed on a Sunday. I used OnTrack to call for service and they called BenDave Towing. Gabriel arrived at the time they estimated and was very polite and helpful. My car was at a dead end street and it was difficult to get it on the truck. But Gabriel was able make the adjustments to get the car loaded. He took pictures of the car before he left and then texted me a picture of the car at the dealer once it was dropped off there. I used BenDave through my insurance company. My spare tire went flat so I needed a tow. It was after hours when I needed their services so it took a while for them to get to me. When someone finally did, it didn't take long to get my car on the flatbed and get us going. I wish I could remember the driver's name because we had a really great conversation and he was very professional. He gave me a ride to my house and filled my spare tire with air. I was able to drive and get my actual tire fixed the next morning. I'd use them again but they are so far away from me. read more

My car battery died and State Farm submitted this company to handle my request for a jump. The ETA was 60-90 min and they showed up in about 20 min. Really nice truck too! Eddie was the guy who helped, very nice, and my car was restarted in 3 minutes. I apologized for not having any cash on hand to tip him and he insisted I not worry about it, my insurance took care of everything. Much respect to Eddie and BenDave Towing. this company made me wait near 3 hours and lied to me over the phone 3 times and then told me at the end that the driver called out sick after he told me he was on the way to me in 30 mins. not professional at all person answering the phone is very rude & a grown up liar save yourself and dont deal with them never!!!! read more

Do Not Trust these guys if you call for emergency services and get this company dispatched call your service provider IMMEDIATELY!!! and request a different company We requested a tow through our insurance provider to our preferred auto body shop, every time we've called for service we are picked up and dropped off at the body shop they have 24/7 drop off available, my wife is pregnant so I got her a ride home with our son and I stayed with the car to wait for the tow, the driver gets here and tells me ok I'll take it from here we're gonna hold the car over night when I asked him why they needed to hold my car if we had requested a tow to a specific shop and made arrangements for them to receive it tonight, he got irritated and aggressive and said "you can either get it towed or stay here I don't care". I told him the situation sounded like chicken hawking like he was trying to force me to let them hold the car so they could take it apart and do the repairs as soon as I said that he said "yes we are and you know what go f**k yourself and try and get another tow". Then he speed off with my car key and left me in the middle of traffic on Glendale Blvd next to echo park lake not able to move my car , about the only good deed he did was come back and drop off the key. 100% filing with BBB and already filed a complaint with our insurance company, while also be reaching out to local officials to file complaints. Had my pregnant wife been alone they would have taken full advantage of her, and to think of all the other people they have tricked and cheated. Absolutely appalling read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO HAVE YOUR CAR STOLEN OR DO NOT WANT TO BE SCAMMED OUT OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS BY THESE CROOKS!! This towing company was sent out through Carmax Roadside Assistance after my car was the victim of a hit and run. The tow truck driver showed up after two hours (!!) and then proceeded to attempt to run a scam on me. I already had a designated place where I wanted my car towed to, and they were expecting my car. This tow truck driver guy started asking about whether our deductible was going to be covered by our insurance for the hit and run, how much our deductible is, etc. Then he said his buddy's body shop would wave the deductible for first time customers, and that he could just bring it there instead of where we had arranged to bring it. We quickly looked the place up on Yelp (it's called PAZI Auto Body in Burbank) and saw that people were getting scammed with this "my buddy has a body shop" deal from tow truck drivers and that once they get people's cars they keep them for months and then charge them thousands for "car storage". So we told him no, we want the car taken to the shop we already decided on and who was already expecting our car. He seemed pretty disappointed and drove off with our car. A little while later we got a call from him telling us the shop he was supposed to bring our car to was closed. It wasn't. We had been on the phone with them all day, and had just hung up the phone with them moments before. They were open and people were there waiting for our car. So we told the tow truck driver the place was not closed, it was open and they were expecting our car. He said no, the gates were closed and locked and that someone told him that nobody had shown up for work there that day. What?? We confirmed that he was at the correct address and then told him we were on the phone with them and that they were open, and he started getting belligerent, saying "I think I know when a place is closed" then hung up. Mind you, HE STILL HAD MY CAR!. So we called the shop back and told them what was going on and the owner went out into the street and could see the tow truck with our car on it and went down the street and made the tow truck driver bring our car in to them. The driver refused to leave his name, and drove off in a huff after they took possession of our car. Then we looked up this tow truck company and googled "tow truck scam" and see now that we were lucky that our car wasn't stolen or left abandoned somewhere. These people are CROOKS AND LIARS!!! read more

Got a flat tire on a dangerous section of the freeway at night that had a shoulder just big enough to fit our car and insurance contacted BenDave. Eddy got to us in about an hour and towed us to the tire shop. He was very courteous and even offered us a ride home. read more

Quick and efficient while loading and unloading my car in the middle of the street in rush hour Hollywood traffic with cars, trucks, and even taco vendors racing past him like he wasn't there. Had them dispatched by my emergency roadside company. They gave an ETA of 60-90 minutes (kinda high but it was late on Sunday). I called to confirm and spoke with a Rafael who said to expect him in 30 minutes. 2.5 hours later still not there. 30 mins later, I called my roadside company to cancel and get help elsewhere. Just horrible. When the guy arrived he didn't believe I even needed the service, asked for my keys and got in my car to make sure that my car was- as I had said- immobile. He kept on calling me sweetie and refused to take the car to the dealership I had requested and I had to call the dealership in front of him to prove they were open. He later called me claiming the dealership was closed while I was on the phone with the staff. I don't know where my car was dropped off and they're claiming I requested it be dropped off somewhere else, though they don't have that information either. This company is complete trash. The original ETA was 18 minutes and they continued to say they were twenty minutes out for two and a half hours on a traffic-less Sunday morning. I finally cancelled the request, the driver then showing up 15 minutes later to tell me he can't tow my car because I cancelled the request.
