Stopped by Benedits for brunch the Monday after Mother's Day and it was such a cute spot! The vibe was minimalist but cozy, with adorable decor that made it feel trendy without trying too hard. The service was awesome too -- coffee refills on point! My mom and I shared the Classic Benedict and a blueberry pancake, and both were delicious. Small surprise: the blueberries came on top instead of baked inside the pancake, but honestly it still hit the spot My sister ordered the breakfast burrito and said it was solid, just not super memorable. My dad enjoyed the California Benedict though he wished he had ordered something with meat. Both the hash browns and sweet potato home fries were delicious. Overall the table was happy! Cute space ... lots of tables. The staff was very friendly. We had the smores pancakes with a side of bacon and the Monte Cristo with fruit. The three pancake stack is HUGE! They were fluffy. The bacon was a bit undercooked and missed a true smoked flavor. The Monte Cristo was flanked with two pieces of French toast. I was not really impressed as the bread fell apart quickly. The jam had a good flavor. I missed the berry jam and the deep fried batter from a traditional sandwich. read more

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere, and hold on to your hat...consistency! i mention to my significant other that we're were lucky to have this breakfast and lunch establishment in our area. To get the similar "superfecta" of all four, we'd have to drive an hour and a half to the Twin Cities and search for something of the same caliber. It will not disappoint. read more

My wife was making all those "When Harry met Sally" noises while eating hers. Great food! Portions are well worth the costs which are very reasonable. The food here is amazing, such a great spot for brunch. The waitress was super nice and checked on us continuously. All of our food came out in a timely manner and was delicious! We all agreed that the place looked super nice & clean, and loved the brightness in the dining area compared to some darkened restaurants. Excited to have a new brunch spot in Mankato! We went on Sunday morning and it was BUSY. We had a 45 min wait to get a table. Our waitress was a bit aloof and we also didn't get waters for about 25 minutes because she said they were out of clean water cups. Seemed a little weird but pains of a new restaurant. We ordered bloodys, a spicy and a Caesar. I like that they have different options. Both were good. I got the Monte Cristo sandwich and it was delicious, I loved the spicy jam it came with. They also get the meat from a local farm which I love. Our table also got the Nashville Benedict, breakfast Sandwich, and kids French toast. All were good. Our food came out in a reasonable time which was a surprise with how busy they were. The building is clean and break with fun colorful decor. Very cheery. We were traveling through and wanted to stop for breakfast- wow - it was amazing ! We had the deviled eggs- they have a slight pickle taste to them and I enjoyed them and the beautiful set up. The Nordeaster Benedict- huge pieces of meat and insane flavor Drinks- Pamplemousse and Carajillio- also very good Our server was Olivia and she was as sweet as could be and very helpful . Tried the new brunch place in Mankato and wasn't disappointed! The service was nice and the place was clean and a good size. My friend and I split the French Toast and she got one egg and bacon and I got one egg and turkey sausage. We loved everything! Told would be a 45 min wait. Will 3 kids 1-5 yrs old, we thought this would be a stretch but wanted to try this place out. After an hour, went inside to see how much longer it would be. At this point, there were 11 empty tables I could see from the front entry! I received no answer as hostess just looked at her screen then walked away. The kids were getting antsy and hungry at this point so after another 20 min, I asked someone else for an update. She said it wouldn't be long. The problem was they didn't have enough silverware. What!?!? The empty tables were already set with silverware, napkins and glasses. We did get in after about 1-1/2 hrs wait. I will say our waitress was excellent and the food was just fine. However, after this terrible first impression, I will not go back and would not recommend going unless you have hours to waste and enjoy sitting in your car or standing in a parking lot.​ read more

A party of 5 went to Benedict's on a Sunday lunch around 11am, and were met nicely by the hosts. Unfortunately it was a 45 min wait for our table. Now that by itself might scare some folks away. Once seated, we waited about 10mins before a server came to us to get the drink order. After that there was some serious delays in progress. It took another 10 minutes to get the food order. Then we waited about 40 mins for the food to arrive. So to put it bluntly, it took a long time! Obviously the restaurant was crowded and many people walked away, but it is very modern and has a nice feel. The waiting areas was a bit awkward as we sat in bench chairs surrounding tables that were eating, so we occasionally starred at each other in jealousy as they ate while we watched (not sure if that is all part of the plan?) The food finally arrived, we had an order chocolate pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon, along with a classic Benedict, Smoked Trout Benedict and a Standard breakfast. The trout was good, however, the ham on the classic seemed to just be deli slices and was recognizable as possibly Canadian Bacon, but it really didn't taste like it. The pancakes were nice and fluffy, but seemed to lack consistency from one cake to another. The eggs were poached to perfection, and were the hit on all plates. The breakfast potatoes were nice, but way over cooked. There was a nice selection of drinks from the bar and mini donuts!! I will probably try it again to see if they can speed up the process, otherwise, it was your average breakfast fair. read more

Food was subpar. Cold, soft sweet potatoes Server brought more but they too were soft. 2 eggs with little flavor and 2 strips of bacon for 26.00! I was asked if i wanted to take the potatoes with me and I declined. Obviously left out and nuked. She said "its hit or miss". I've been here twice now, both times with my toddler twins. The servers have been so kind and accommodating in bringing some food out early for the kids. The food is delicious, and well worth the price. Both times we have been here the GM was walking around checking on tables. It was my first day in town, visiting family, so we popped In here for a quick breakfast. We were met with a very modern, cute and clean looking restaurant. The two standout highlights were the food, and service. I had the loaded tots breakfast plate, and the tots were made in house and her the best I've ever had. Our server jessica, made us feel like we had known her for 20 years. She recommended spots around the area to check out, and made us feel extremely welcome. I went here for my birthday! I understand it is a busier day (valentine's day) but I made sure to call ahead by 3 1/2 hours to get my party of 10 on the waitlist. When we arrived they did not have a table saved for us and we were split up at two separate that weren't even next to each other. However, we were STILL charged the automatic 20% gratuity for a large party when we were waited on as two separate tables, had the food brought to us by a food runner, and did not see our waitress in between when the food was brought and the check was asked for. I've been here twice now and both times the food was excellent. I had the huevos rancheros once and the chorizo tater tot hash the other--both were awesome.
