You're the boss omelette ( AKA make your own omelette) omelette with cheese and mushrooms. This came with a side of toast and hash browns

Strike 3, you're out!!!!! I know that weggy's on campus has a strong following so please do not hate, but only appreciate my review. For very long time I had heard how weggy's has the best food, so I gave it a try and it did not impress. Then we went back a second time and it was equally unimpressive. This time around, I decided to try breakfast figuring that that could be their go-to, still very unimpressive. It first started off with a waitress who was barely listening to me, followed by an unenthusiastic completion of my order, to the dirty side of the table which she chose to ignore or maybe didn't see. When my omelette and hash browns arrived it was delivered by the kitchen staff who said sorry to me for some reason. I thought the food was delivered in a timely manner but he must just be used to people complaining.‍ I do not know if it is a growing trend, or something that everyone has just become accustomed to but eggs do not come from a carton!!!! The Omelette head absolutely no taste, and I don't know if it was just me, but I could have swore the entire time I was eating my food I was getting a heavy smell of dish soap. I prefer to not think about where it was coming from. The hash browns were all right, although they need to cook them a little bit more because they felt a little cold in the center. But at least I didn't burn my mouth. The one bright side I will give this establishment is their butter is really I had a side of toast with my omelette and the butter they had on the bread really popped. Not overpowering, but also, not too weak. Also, the Aesthetics are pleasing, I really like that they have three TVs over the bar playing different channels, the Ambiance is pleasing to the eyes and the ears. Also, I appreciate the booths being roomy and not cramped in. You can easily sit eight people at one table comfortably. That is really the best things I can say about this establishment. So if you're going someplace for the seating, I guess weggy's on campuses for you.

This is definitely a campus vibe place, although when we went there were no college kids. The food all sounded amazing, but almost everything could have used 2-3 minutes longer on the grill. The sausage was grey like a fast food patty, eggs were clearly out of a bag and the gravy was congealed. The star of the two meals was the tortillas. Service was as to be expected at a greasy spoon. Go for the cheap prices or a hangover meal.

A big THANK YOU to the Weggy's team for accommodating our large group for a birthday brunch on a Sunday! The room in the back of the restaurant is great for large gatherings. Several staff members would check to make sure our drinks were refilled and we had what we needed. Everyone enjoyed their food. We will definitely be back!

    The Stomper Breakfast Sandwich

Honestly, I didn't even want to go here, but I'm glad I did. The Stomper breakfast sandwich was just enough to fill me up, but then to dip it in a side of sausage gravy was a chef's kiss. I'm pretty picky about sausage gravy, theirs is legit. Plenty of sausage, not lumpy, creamy, and a good amount of pepper. The table wasn't clean when we sat down though and the service was pretty slow.

We received a friendly greeting and were sat quickly. We ordered the What's up Doc? (veggie) omelet, which was great. Who knew celery would be good in an omelet? We also had the regular French toast, which was a great addition. Our server was very attentive and friendly. This would our first experience with Weggy's and would totally recommend checking it out.

From The Breakfast Bible -- Deutoronomeat 8:10 "This yolk is over-easy and This bacon's done right" It's not just food. It's Releggion ;) This one's been a while in the making -- check out the lineup from 3 visits: The Brunkie -- Fresh baked biscuits, sausage patties and eggs, on hash browns covered in gravy Lobster Benedict -- with lobster, house-made hollandaise, and hash browns The Tater Skillet -- Buffalo infused tater tots with nacho cheese and homemade ranch dressing, sauteed tomatoes, green pepper, onions and bacon topped with eggs and toast The Belly Buster -- Hash browns covered with cheese, sauteed onion, green peppers, tomatoes and bacon, topped with eggs and If there's two things this place has right, they are variety and quantity! From donut breakfast sandwiches to waffles to lobster Benedicts, you could try something entirely new every trip here. And everything looks/sounds super good I tried the Lobster Benedict first, which I have never seen on a MN menu! It wasn't the highest quality seafood, but it was perfectly fine for the price and the Hollandaise was hands-down delicious The Belly Buster was my second selection. It's just the best mess you'll meet. Everything kinda got lost in the breakfast sauce, but I ain't complainin'. SO much cheese... And my final and favorite food, the Tater skillet. Loved the logic of buffalo-infused tater tots; the taste was totally there, as was a slight kick! This was similar to the Belly Buster, the buffalo tots coming in as the dividing difference of deliciousness Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the Brunkie... but boy does it take the title as the Breakfast Biscuit BOMB! My dining dude Cody called in no complaints on this creation. Until next time, brother biscuit, when perhaps my fork will meet your flakiness... XD I'd call Weggy's a very fairly priced, uber unique, cozy hometown greasy spoon. Stop by not for a elegant composed culinary experience, but to catch up with the old crew over a cup of coffee and comfort food!

I thought the banana walnut pancakes where awesome. Bananas are cooked right in the pancakes along with the walnuts. Batter was slightly sweet, but I like that In a pancake. The boyfriend wasn't overly impressed with his choice unfortunately, said that it tasted a bit bland. Overall worth it for the pancakes if your into them.

Omelette or a scramble or just a mess?

Stopped by for a Saturday evening meal. Although there are Muddy Cow locations and an MC's Taproom…read morenear home, it didn't click until I read the menu which felt familiar. I'm a fan of both of those in the northern/northwestern metro, and this place didn't disappoint! They really committed to the "garage" esthetic. The handles were tools, there were car parts all over, and even the bathroom sinks fit the part. We loved it! We sat on the patio, as recommended by the host, and were able to enjoy the gorgeous fall weather. The drinks were refreshing and generally strong. The international was like their take on a Bahama Mama, and the Mercedes was an elevated Vodka Cran. Both accompanied our meals beautifully. I opted for the Spicy Dill burger with fries and seasoned sour cream. I loved the crunch of the banana peppers and the way the cream cheese helped mute the acidity. Their fries are meaty, crispy, and overall delicious. Pair it with the seasoned sour cream and you're set!

The newest addition to Mankato is MC's Garage - a retro garage themed burger a brew restaurant…read more There dining and bar area are both large with a line of TVs facing both directions separating the two spaces. It is very bright and airy with a tasteful amount of classic car garb. The service was friendly and offered up plenty of suggestions. Regularly checking on the table. Started with the "Trash Can Nachos". The serving size was pretty generous with a number of tostada chips covered with meat and veggies. Meat was just okay with what tasted like a pretty generic "taco" seasoning. Would have liked fresh sliced jalapeños as well instead of pickled. The "PB&J Chicken Sand (yes, sand) had a really good flavor and the bacon was cooked perfect. Chicken breast was not juicy but not dry and had a very crunchy exterior. Peanut butter was delicious but didn't taste much of the hot jam. "Olive You" Burger was LOADED with cream cheese and an ample amount of green olives. Patty was cooked towards the well done side and could have been more medium. I really enjoyed the space and the staff. The food could have been a little better but it is still new and I'm certain they will iron things out.
