I tried to get some general information about my coverage and locating a doctor who accepts my insurance, and it was nearly impossible to get that information. You can't get it on their website, though they will tell you it is available, but nobody was able to find it once they tried to help me find it. So rather than provide the assistance, they just hung up the phone on me or just discontinued the online conversation. This happened twice online and once via the phone. On the fourth try, I finally found someone to assist me via the phone. The person who barely spoke English tried very hard to assist me and eventually emailed me the list, which was just fine, as they agreed it actually in not available on their website.

With Molina Healthcare of Washington, I have had zero issues with approvals or getting the care I need. I was recently enrolled in Molina's Healthy Homes program and assigned a care coordinator, Ms. N. Areola. Over the last six months, Ms. Areola's expertise, resources, knowledge, and guidance have helped me to navigate the complex healthcare system and made finding a solution to a challenge or answer to a question MUCH easier. She is extremely responsive both by email and text. When I recently reached out to her to ask for assistance with a denial of my medication, she solved the problem within hours. It is really reassuring to have this resource to reach out first rather than being stuck on hold or heading to the emergency room or urgent care for answers. Being enrolled in Molina's Health Homes program has made a profound difference in my life, and I will always be grateful for the assistance, professionalism and kindness I have received from Molina Healthcare of Washington.

UW Medical Center - Roosevelt - Kaiser Permanente Urgent Care differential and obviously very different diagnosis. They also told me recently I had a knee sprain as well!

Parking can be an issue, especially if you don't want to spend a week's paycheck in the garage,…read moregiven that many have to wait for a long time before their scheduled appointments. Street parking is scarce, and cars passing by all seem to be in a hurry, honking their horns, crowding and not wishing to allow you the space, nor the time to park safely and quickly be out of their way. Inside, confusion ensues, as confirmation emails steer you to the 4th floor for children's covid vaccines, yet, after standing in line, you come to find that you must return to the first floor and stand in yet another line, fill out more paperwork (though it was all done previously online), and await your turn, which comes 20 minutes after your scheduled appointment slot. Staff don't seem to trust parents about their children's behavior and ease with vaccines - I'm sure they see the gamut of response, more of them being the children who flinch, flail, scream and protest. Our children are not like that, yet those who administer the vaccine don't trust me/us and force us to restrain our children uncomfortably and unnecessarily; after which they gawk at their calm and composed demeanors, complimenting them and wide-eyed congratulating us, their parents.

UWMC OB/GYN Roosevelt- Dr. Aparna Ramanathan that I feel to share as a warning to other woman. Proceed with extreme caution if considering any gynecological procedures here, especially partial hysterectomies. She skipped basic standard-of-care steps, like performing necessary imaging beforehand, which could have caught issues or confirmed the need for surgery. Instead, I felt medically gaslighted--my concerns were dismissed, and the full scope of the procedure wasn't transparently explained. Despite final pathology reports showing no cancer, tumors, disease, or any medical justification, (only clinical guesses) they removed my uterus and cervix without properly informing me in advance. This wasn't just an oversight; it feels like a loophole they've exploited, leading to irreversible damage including incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction that have drastically impacted my quality of life. The informed consent process was inadequate--doctors didn't clearly disclose that the cervix would be removed as part of a "total" hysterectomy, even when it wasn't warranted. Always, always get a second opinion from an independent provider before agreeing to anything. Request a witness or have someone present at all appointments and during consent discussions to ensure everything is documented accurately. Be sure to read your own records thoroughly--progress notes, informed consent forms, and any imaging reports (if they even bother to do them). Don't let them rush you; demand transparency and hold them accountable. I wish I'd known this sooner to avoid the lifelong consequences. avoid if possible!!! I didn't go in looking for a cure, I went to get disease management. And i have.

Ana Haberman, ARNP, has been my husband's and my primary care provider for almost two years, and we couldn't be happier with the care we receive. Ana is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and truly cares about our concerns. She always takes the time to listen, answers all our questions clearly, and never makes us feel rushed. On the occasions when Ana wasn't available, we saw Dr. Thomas Chin, MD, who was also very knowledgeable and caring. He made us feel comfortable and well cared for during those visits. But, both companies are absolutely horrendous around communications. They call and leave you aggressive voice messages then make it impossible to get a hold of someone when you call them back. I'd love this organization to contact me in another manner that I might be able to respond. Email, Patient portal, or text. Anything besides playing phone tag would be amazing.
