Honestly it was just ok. I mean for $12 and another $6 for fries without a soda pop for another $3. I ordered the lamb gyro and was anticipating slices of gyro meat but nope, it's cubed pieces of meat that honestly didn't wow me. Yes, it is a nice big portion on a pita but for the price is certainly not worth it in Brickel. If you're going to charge $21 for a sandwich+fries and one can of pop you better come with some good delicious food. This was not it. read more

I have been here a couple of times, and honestly, the food has never missed the mark. They also give options for vegetarian, pescatarian, and regular consumers. I went in for a platter where you can choose to have fries or rice as a base, and add on their in-house cucumber and tomato salad and garbanzo beans/chickpeas. The protein options are chicken, gyro, fish, and falafel; I went with the gyro. They also have options for different sauces. I always go with all three, but the red one is spicy in case you are not into spicy foods. They are generally always nice and quick with your order. I have never eaten inside, so I cannot tell you how they are when serving tables, if they do that at all. It is more like a build-a-bowl setup, so you can just eat there or grab and go. As for the whole setup, nothing much makes it stand out, and I do not think I have ever heard music playing; it is a simple spot. read more

Can't say enough how much I LOVE this place!! We happen to be in Brickell for work and stumbled upon this place because it's both within walking distance and had great reviews on Yelp. The menu is simple: chicken, gyro, fish, or falafel in either a platter, pita, or on fries - and you can get a combo of any two mixed also. I opted for a chicken and gyro platter. The gyro is chopped which is new for me as I've only ever seen it sliced, but it is so flavorful and yummy! We are somewhat biased when it comes to Greek because there is a great one in our small town, and this one almost tops that! The chicken is also chopped small and tasty but not quite as flavorful. We also tried the falafel because well, we always do when it's available, and it really just left a bit to be desired. It was overfly fried and definitely could have used more flavor, especially after gyro and chicken. Aside from the food, the process is super efficient, quick, and easy to navigate. There were only 2 people working but they kept up with the long line and busy stream of take out orders - which I don't know how people place because there is no direct online ordering - but either way, it was fast, easy, and memorably tasty experience both times I've been and will continue to go whenever work brings me there again! read more

Solid food, quick, and good quantity. Located in the heart of the Brickell area, it's great if you are craving some halal style food or don't want to waste too much time dining. I got the mix platter to try both chicken and gyro, and I recommend the gyro over the chicken. Gyro had a lot more flavor, but that's not to say the chicken was bad, gyro was just better. Service was quick and friendly, and it was nice grab a plate, eat inside, and continue your adventure without wasting too much time/money. read more

Every time I visit New York, it's a must for me to stop at a street vendor serving halal -- chicken over rice with white and red sauce is my go-to. Miami, unfortunately, doesn't offer many options that compare. I found DCG online and decided to give it a try. I went for lunch and ordered chicken over rice with all the veggie fixings. They include corn and beans, which isn't part of the traditional NYC halal experience, but it was a nice twist. They offer three sauces: white, red, and green. I tried all three, but the green sauce didn't really stand out, and the white sauce was lacking -- definitely not like Halal Guys' white sauce, which sets the bar for me. The chicken itself was tender and well-seasoned, and they serve it over brown rice rather than the traditional yellow, which some may prefer. The meal overall was good, but for someone used to NYC halal, it didn't fully hit the mark -- especially at $15, which is pricey compared to New York. A heads-up on parking: There are very few open spots, and if you don't conduct business in the plaza, you risk getting booted. I noticed a guy pretending to be a customer outside, clearly watching for people who parked and left without going into one of the businesses. Minutes later, he placed a boot on someone's car. Would I return? Yes -- but only if I'm in the area and need a quick bite. Just manage your expectations if you're used to NYC-style halal. read more

Ordered this for delivery and it was so delicious! I got the salad and rice with both chicken and gyro! phenomenal. The warm meats paired so well with the cucumber and lettuce. They are spicy but manageable. All covered in delicious sauces ( i like the red and the white, i tried the green but it wasn't for me). Get a side of pita, it's delicious and warm and good to dip in the sauces. The entire platter heats up well the next day! DCG is in the heart of Brickell and is serving up your standard meat over rice platters. It was one of the better ones I've had. The veggies were fresh, the rice was flavorful, the sauces were decadent, and the meat was juicy. While it doesn't quite stack up with the GOATs like Adele's in NY, it blows places like Halal Guys out of the water and is better than your average NY halal cart. read more

I ordered via Uber eats from this place. They had a deal that was buy one, get one free. When you order online one platter is $17, but in the actual place it's $14. With tax, delivery fee and tip and a soda, it came out to about $30 anyway. They unfortunately forgot my white sauce so beware if you're ordering it on the side. Overall, I would say it was pretty good, but as someone who is from the NYC/NJ and has lived in the D.C. area and is Arab, it did not live up to my expectations. Unfortunately, the portion was much smaller than I usually would get from a halal cart. The flavors were pretty good. The white sauce unfortunately a bit lacking (not as garlicky as it usually is). Other than that, I'm not sure what it was but it was definitely missing something from the original (potentially salt?). This food was the best I've ordered in 2024. I was in Miami and wanted something but it was pretty late at night. I didn't want the usual Chinese or fast food and saw DCG was open (& this was at 1am). I noticed they had high reviews and decided to give them a try. First of all, the quality of the food is top tier. Everything was fresh and the cucumbers and lettuce were crisp. The chicken was tender and the flavor was perfect. The price was unbelievable for the quality and amount. Secondly, it was ready quickly. My entire experience was wonderful. It was so good I had it the next day as well. I was in the area because several friends wanted to go out and have fun. I got hungry because I skipped dinner and wanted something good. Originally, I wanted to get some pizza. However, my friends told me no! Go to DCG. It will be life-changing, they said. So I opted to go to DCG. First and foremost, this place is unassuming. You wouldn't realize what they served unless you popped in. The menu is straight to the point, Gyros or french fries. The server asked what I wanted, I told him to make me what he would have. I have to say it was magical. I have no idea what he made, but it was the best thing I ate the entire time I was in Miami. If you get a chance, scope them out and enjoy the food! read more

Wonderful gyro/chicken over rice spot in Miami! We've had a lot of NYC chicken over rice, and this place is legit. We love getting a chicken/gyro combo platter. I really enjoy their red, white, and green sauces on top as well. It's a bit pricy ($14) if you're comparing to NYC platters, but really great serving size and flavor for Miami. I have been searching for convenient, relatively affordable (for Miami) protein sources, and this is it! I got the gyro and chicken platter with rice, salad, and white sauce. I was impressed by how tender and flavorful the chicken is. I got lettuce, corn, and cucumber mix for my salad but you can also add chickpeas. The service was efficient and the tables were clean so it's a great place to grab something nutritious on your way home. My one qualm is that the cajun fries could have had more cajun seasoning but they were a good texture and not too oily. Quick scan on Yelp & saw the good reviews so decided to take a chance. SO glad I did! First off, all the guys working at the counter were soooo nice! Next, all the ingredients looked super fresh & smelled great! I ordered the Chicken Bowl which came with salad (lettuce, tomatoes & cucumber), long grain rice, super moist, tender & flavourful chicken & your choice of sauce; I did the garlic sauce & hot sauce. Just opened 4 days ago during Miami Music Week. Originating from the DC area. Self described New York style street food that emphasizes taste and quality. Great service, Fast dining. However, I ordered the gyro and it seemed to taste more like Mexican food rather than mediterranean. I would not say it tastes like a traditional gyro, but it was still tasty. The ingredients are a pita bread for the base, spicy chicken or lamb for the meat, and for the toppings you have corn, garbanzos, lettuce, and some sort of cucumber salad. My order came around $12, so it was not bad since the food did fill me. The place was clean and played good Spanish music. I would say if you want a cheaper option, especially in Brickell City Center, it's not a bad choice. read more

I ordered from here on UberEats and called the store 1 hour later to confirm if order was received. The rep told me they were very busy and are preparing the order immediately. A few minutes later, UberEats gave me an error stating it was cancelled due to an error, so I travelled to the store personally. They were also able to accommodate my sister, who is gluten-free. I started with the Papicante, and it absolutely brought the heat. We originally came for Miami Spice, but couldn't resist the Wagyu pastrami -- it never disappoints. The crab cake was divine, and the Hamachi practically melted in my mouth. Every bite was better than the last. Next came the dry-aged Creekstone Prime ribeye, absolutely worth the supplement. Our group paired our entrées with mushrooms, latkes, and a truffle corn that I could honestly bathe in. We ended the night with their perfectly branded crème brûlée topped with blackcurrant caviar. After one bite, that concern was confirmed. At that point, after already dealing with the steak issue, I didn't feel comfortable raising another complaint. I ended up ordering the lobster mac just to have something to eat, which was actually good, so I appreciate that at least. Overall, a disappointing birthday experience.

The chicken lacked the crispy texture it was advertised to have, and the brisket was bland and without flavor. The sandwich was also supposed to come with truffle fries, but instead we were served cold, plain fries. After mentioning it, the solution was to bring us a side of truffle oil and Parmesan cheese and ask us to mix it ourselves. The service was equally disappointing. We asked our server twice for drink refills, but she never brought them. We eventually had to flag down another server just to get our beverages refilled. Overall, this was a frustrating dining experience from start to finish. Between the poor-quality food, unfulfilled promises regarding the bill, and inattentive service, this restaurant fell well below the standard I would expect from a Miami establishment. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves one. I sincerely hope management addresses these issues because the current level of food quality and customer service is simply unacceptable. and quality is embarrassing for miami.
