BenGong's Tea (Walnut) is not bad. I ordered the Burnt Brûlée Boba Milk Tea ($6.50 - 50% Sugar - Regular Ice). When thoroughly mixed, this drink carries a cuddly sweetness. It succeeds with capturing that fresh brûlée flavor. Unfortunately, its boba pearl's texture resembled wet glue. I arrived at BenGong's Tea (Walnut) on Sunday (around 11:44AM). Parking was easy that weekend. The lot is very big. This business is located across Mt. Sac. (aka: Mt. San Antonio College). Staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. There's no self-service kiosk, so Staff (receipt says Merrielle) helps guide the customer with sweetness level and ice level. Merrielle gave wonderful recommendations, and Merrielle worked hard. The drink took three minutes and nine seconds. Good pace! As mentioned, the Burnt Brûlée Boba Milk Tea ($6.50 - 50% Sugar - Regular Ice) presented immense potential. I genuinely enjoyed its presentation and flavors, however, the boba felt below average. As I continued to chew that boba, my smile slowly vanished. It tasted like mochi dough after a while. Hopefully, the boba improves in the future. Concerning ambiance, BenGong's Tea (Walnut) felt dusty and unclean. Despite arriving near opening hours, I found old long strands of hairs on its chairs. There's also thick swathes of dust collecting on the windows' crevices. The sofa had old dried stains. And despite its attempt to look modern, the place felt dusty and worn-down with age the longer I lingered. My eyes transfixed on a small fruit fly that lazily crawled along its white wall. All in all, BenGong's Tea (Walnut) felt like a place that lost its passion. Fortunately, there's still utility at BenGong's Tea (Walnut). There's customer internet with password; the details are posted on the counter. There's also two electrical outlets (but one is somewhat uncomfortable to use). There's a gender neutral restroom in the back. Also, the music is very soft. However, the location is a little cramped. There's about three tables. Overall, BenGong's Tea (Walnut) is not bad. The Burnt Brûlée Boba Milk Tea ($6.50 - 50% Sugar - Regular Ice) carried good flavors. With time, I only hope this location improves. 3.9 out of 5

Tried their crème brûlée mill tea and their grape sparkling tea. Both had the right amount of sweetness and i like how they used real grapes. They put a decent amount in it as well.

Came here after eating lunch in the plaza. There are like a million boba shops in the plaza so it's hard to choose where to go. We ordered online to get it faster but it was a decently sized order so it still took some waiting before we got our drinks. The vibes were okay. It's right next to a college so I assume there are quite a bit of students that go there after class. I'm not sure if the store is trying to save money either but it was pretty warm inside. It didn't feel like the ac was on so we waited outside where it was much cooler. I ordered the Osmanthus Oolong cloud and it tasted great. There were some bits in there that gave it some texture which I love. It definitely has a unique taste to it which is why I'm more drawn to coming here compared to other places. I've tried their mango sago drink before too and that's probably my favorite. I'd come here again if I were in the area!

This was one of the worst boba place we've been to. It used to be really good, but has definitely gone downhill. Ordered the Burnt Brulee Boba Milk Tea & Burnt-Brown Sugar Boba Tea. Both drinks tasted really funky and had a weird flavor, like expired milk or so. We ended up tossing them away cuz it made our stomach upset. Service wasn't great either. Felt ignored when we arrive and took a while for our drinks to be made.

This place does not serve what you actually order. I ordered shrimp balls with my oden, but instead received pink, artificially colored leftover balls, falsely labeled as shrimp balls. This is misleading, unacceptable, and deceptive. Customers should be aware that the food does not match the menu description.

We're usually big fans of BenGong's, and we ordered our usual: 2 peach oolong milk teas (light ice, half sugar), 1 with 25% sugar, and a fruit green tea. But this time, the peach oolong milk tea had a noticeably sour taste--not the usual smooth and refreshing flavor we're used to. Not sure if it was the tea base or the milk, but it threw us off a bit. The fruit green tea was still nice and fresh, but overall, this visit didn't quite hit the mark. Hoping it was just a one-off, because we've had much better from here before!

The aesthetic of this place is reason enough to stop by. The service will convince you to order, cause from the minute you walk in, you are welcome with a smile. The FLAVOR of this Peach Milk Tea will turn you into a fan. I want to say this is one of the best, IF NOT the best one I've had in the entire SGV area. This is by far a fave summer rec of mine. Prices are still reasonable, and the place usually has plenty of parking. Located in a busy school area this is your stop for a quick afternoon boba tea break.

Probably the smallest "Regular" size I've ever received at any tea shop... anywhere.

Went into the store to order a snack since I'd seen the poster out front, but there was no indication of how to order them once inside. When I went in, someone (Worker A) was headed to the back and let someone in the kitchen (Worker B) know that there was a person out front (me). I waited there for about 4 minutes and heard a really loud "I JUST LOST 300$". Worker A came out from the back and reminded Worker B that I was still out front. B came out, I picked out a drink, regular size, since I didn't want a wasted trip. I paid, and as I turned away, I hear B ask A something like, "Dude, do we sell boba?" Mind you, I just paid like 7$ for a boba tea. Obviously these two were joking around, but it left a bad feeling in my chest as I sat to wait for my drink. When I received it, I felt a little shocked. For the price, regular size looks like a small, or even a mini. It was about 5 inches tall. The drink was fine, nothing to write home about. However, I don't think I'll be coming back.

    Passion Fruit Yakult Tea

Small boba shop located across Mt. SAC. A ton of different drink options, all of which are pretty good. I tried the passion fruit yakult, and while I wouldn't try it again - my friend's tiramisu drink was way better. Staff are friendly, and drinks come out quick. It's a quiet place to hangout and chill with friends. Parking can get kind of atrocious in this plaza.

Come for the wishing tree at BenGong's Tea - Walnut, but don't expect too much from their drinks. My niece and I came here to hang out and chat, and to make wishes. There are a few tables and a sofa to hang out around. Service was pretty unfriendly and we felt rushed even when there was no one behind us. My niece ordered their Passion Fruit Super Fruit Cup ($6.50) 50% sweet and I ordered a Strawberry Yakult Tea ($6.50) 75% sweet. You will have to ask for the wishing paper when you order because they keep it behind the counter. The yarn, scissors and pens are by the tree. The drinks were made pretty slow cause we had time to think about our wishes, write them out, and hang them up before the drinks were done. When we got them it looked so refreshing but it tasted so bad. My niece was saying how her fruit was albino with no color and sadly stale. It took away from the drink and would have been better off with just the tea. Also there was so much fruit, it took up a lot of the volume of the cup. I typically like strawberry yakult drinks from other tea houses but this was bitter and still sweet even though I reduced the sweetness. It was nice to try and I really like their wishing tree... but the drinks are not giving me a reason to come back.

Starting off, I love the amount of options on the menu. My friend and I ordered the strawberry cheese slush and it was good. I also tried the taro milk slush another time and it was delightful. There's comfortable seating here, I love that the chairs are comfortable to sit in and there's plenty of space on the table if you want to sit here and do work. I've been here twice already and the service is friendly, but has been slow both times considering there weren't many people in the store.

There were plenty of parking as it's in a shared plaza. For the store, it's a moderate size but it was definitely busy at the time we went. For ordering, you'll need to order at the counter before sitting down. After browsing the menu, we decided on the pink vodka pasta and the rich miso pasta (Taiwanese sausage added). American Express is accepted as a payment option. The staff gave us a number to place on the table we sat at but we were free to grab any seat we liked. For seating, there were a few tables for parties of two and limited tables for bigger groups. Keep in mind if you need water or extra napkins, they'll have those near the bar seating. Both the Pink Vodka Pasta and Rich Miso Pasta exceeded our expectations! The miso pasta leans on the creamy side but pairs very well with the pink vodka pasta. The miso pasta didn't come with any protein by default, so we were glad that we added the Taiwanese sausage. Fun fact is that the meatball from the Pink Vodka Pasta is vegan! The portion size was super generous from both dishes and was beyond just two people. I wasn't expecting to discover pasta dishes that I'd consider as one of my favorites from this visit! I'll definitely come back to try other dishes.

I felt awake after sipping. It's TASTY, fresh coffee! (Important: Cash is not accepted. Bring Card or Contactless Payment.) I arrived at Grid Coffee (Diamond Bar) on Thursday (around 9:17AM). Parking is easy. The lot is spacious and big. However, this business has awful visibility; it's very easy for new guests to overlook it. But like a strongly guarded secret, this business is POPULAR. Staff is efficient and amicable. Staff is polite and knowledgeable, but Staff is also curt and very focused on crafting their coffee. My coffee took four minutes and 26 seconds. As mentioned, I ordered the Madagascar Vanilla Caffe Latte ($7 - Large - Iced). When thoroughly stirred, the coffee's true flavor blossoms. The potency becomes balanced, and the taste of vanilla & roasted coffee lithely intertwine. The aftertaste is reminiscent of a smoky caramel. There's utility and personality in this freshly brewed coffee. It's easy to understand why this spot is so popular. On ambiance, Grid Coffee (Diamond Bar) is a study/work paradise. Unlike the tiny outside, the interior is unexpectedly spacious. There's about six electrical outlets. There's also customer internet with password; details are in small text on the counter's menu. The location also has about four tables, one long wooden table, and five mini portable tables. In addition, Grid Coffee (Diamond Bar) is clean, well-maintained, and well-ventilated. There's a gender neutral restroom in the back, and the music is chill & calm. The location is filled with working college students whispering about Harvard and preparing for the future. Overall, I found unexpected joy at Grid Coffee (Diamond Bar). The coffee is affordable, good quality, and functional. The location is comfortable and calm. If searching for a wonderful study/work spot, this is a very easy recommendation. 4.8 out of 5!
