This spot is newer I believe, we just stumbled upon it last night and we had an amazing meal! We ordered a Brooklyn pie with green peppers, onions and garlic and we got the tortellini with vodka sauce. I would recommend everything we got and am looking forward to having the leftovers for lunch today! It can be a bit pricier than some other options in the area, but we felt it was totally worth it! Ever since Red Moon pizza in Mercer Mall closed, I have been searching for another place with really good NYC style cheese pizza - I've been buying slices from every pizza place I see, but nothing was as good as the pizza at Red Moon. I was one of the 18 people group. All I can say to this owner's reply is that Angelo's which is right around the corner has better food, lower prices, terrific service, separate checks, salad with the order, proves it can be done if there is the will. Many of us wanted to give this place a second try after an appropriate break-in period, but after the owner's dismissive attitude, that won't be happening. It's a shame because for us the location is so convenient. But I think it's a bigger loss for him. We are a group of movie-goers who go to Montgomery Cinema every Saturday nite. One would think that a restaurant owner would want to court such a recurrent business. We aren't asking for anything special. Common courtesy and just a little flexibility would do. The best & most fresh! I love the pizza, the penne vodka & calamari are our go to's! I always call ahead or door dash my order since it's a popular place in the area. My order is always complimented with fresh, soft garlic bread & salad. One thing I will say is that it does seem as though the calamari portion shrunk a bit, I also would prefer just the rings and not the body. But overall, a great choice. read more

Went there as a family a few nights ago. We all ordered home made pasta dishes off of the menu and some appetizers. I ordered seafood fra diavlo which had generous portions of mussels, clams and shrimp, a delicious spicy sauce and well made fettuccini. My wife had the agnolotti with arrabiatta which she also enjoyed very much. My daughter has food allergies and Benny and staff were very accommodating in ensuring that her menu choice was safe for her to enjoy. Friendly counter staff. Easy parking. Outdoor seating. We ordered a large everything pizza. Which was delicious and some how managed to maintain its crispy crust on the 15 minute ride home. The two complaints I have are the size of the pizza..... its actually a medium (in north jersey) that they call a large in central jersey. #2 the quantity of toppings they put on it. Again, the pie was delicious but if you're going to call a medium pie a large pie and charge $24 for at least LOAD it with toppings or give the customer an actual large pie. As a side note.... the sausage they used was great.... not the crap you get a shop rite... it had fennel seeds in it.....just wish there was more of it on the pie read more

We really enjoyed this place. When we walked in, the slices looked amazing with plenty of great choices. They were folding fresh tortellini so we knew we were going to have some authentic Italian food. We had a "small" calzone (can't imagine how huge the large must be) and chicken saltimbocca. No idea what's going on with these reviews but we have had the food from here twice and it is was fantastic both times. First time my wife and I ate in the restaurant and had the Caprese Salad which was excellent and I had the chicken parm which was great and my wife had shrimp fra Diablo which she loved. Service was on point and we bought a bottle of wine from the liquor store next door and had a great meal. The second time we did take out I had the homemade fettuccine Alfredo with chicken which may have been the best i ever had. Son had the tortellini in vodka sauce which was also great and lastly the mozzarella sticks were also wonderful. Everyone should give them a try this is much better then your average pizza place read more

OMG!! I thought I was at my parents house on a Sunday for the usual pasta meal... the meatballs and sauce were exactly like my mom's!! Sooooo good!! And where do you find any restaurant to give a very generous amount of meatballs and ricotta!! My daughter LOVED them!! Oh and the pecorino romano grated cheese! Yes the real cheese!! My god finally!! An Italian Pizzaria/ restaurant that really is genuine... feel like I've died and went to heaven!! (visited my mom And dad in heaven and they made me my meal) Ordered the Shrimp Parm..& mixed seafood in the Fa Diablo..cane with new Zeland mussels -that means a lot when you have a dish like this...shrimp, scallops and calamari...and a lunch portion of chicken Parm.. they were all perfecto!! I was here many times before when it was a different pizza place but only once as Beniamino's. The staff is much friendlier and nicer than the former pizza place. The pizza quality is about the same. Crust and sauce are average. I only ordered slices so they are reheated and the crust and other ingredients are not as fresh/in their best form. I can't speak to the rest of the menu. I will definitely be back here to try out their menu. This place has the potential to be a great regular place. read more

Another pizza place in Montgomery? This replaced Veras in the montgomery shopping center. BUT this is not just pizza, it's really an Italian restaurant and so far everything we've had is excellent. Don't miss the arugula prosciutto margarita pizza- delicate thin crust and fresh as can be. The eggplant rolatini will melt in your mouth. Even the house dressing for salad is homemade and fresh. Hubby had the veal francese , tender moist and flavorful w just the right amount of lemon. They make homemade pasta and the marinara was just right. Even the homemade rolls are wonderful . And do not miss the cannoli - crispy outside and so fresh. Beniaminos has already made a mark in Montgomery. Keep up the great food , you will be taking reservations read more

We were there recently. What a disappointment. The service was terrible. The food was not good. Two people would not eat what they had ordered. The entrees are overpriced for what they are. They charge extra for a side salad. They advertise that they serve home made pasta, but charge more for that as well. Overall, this was not a good experience Be aware that the five star ratings are not real. They started posting the before the restaurant opened. This is a local pizza place. The owners seem to think that this is an upscale restaurant. If they don't wake up, they will be gone fairly soon In response to your answer, I called several times to discuss the size of the group and that we needed separate checks. I was assured each time that there would be no problem. I was asked what time the movie was and was guaranteed that we would be out in time. If you couldn't handle that, you should have told me and we would have gone somewhere else We were 18 people, 15 of whom were there by 5PM. One came in at 5:08 PM, one at 5:10 PM and one 5:15 PM Our orders were taken at 5:10 PM. The food didn't start coming out until 6:15 PM. As far as your other customers suffering because of us, there were very few customers there at 5PM I don't think that I am being unreasonable. Just got pizza for the first time from here. Have to say it's lived up to the buzz I've been hearing. Really good veggie pizza with thin but not too thin crust that stayed crisp for a little while after we got home and fresh veggies. The pizza was great, but, Breaking News, most pizza places in Jersey have great pizza. That didn't justify the rude staff making me wait in different lines as a power play, practically passing my food off to me as if they are doing me a favor after "forgetting" to put my son's chicken fingers and French fries into the order, and not even saying thanks or have a nice day. For that, I can go to Pizza Star, where the pizza is much better. Sorry guys, no thanks. read more

Very disappointing restaurant. The prices are high. We ordered one slice of pizza and 2 entrees. The entrees did not include a salad. We were one of two parties in the restaurant. Took forever for them to take our order, although there were plenty of employees just standing around. Entrees finally came out - were cold and not very good. Esp considering the prices. The slice came out another 10 mins later. And it was cold. They re-did the decorating and it looks worse than when the old owner was there. Terrible paint job. One of the waitresses was very young and wearing a very revealing top. We will go to Alfonso's from now on. read more

This place is amazing. The food is outstanding the owner his wife and sons could not be more accommodating. Very friendly, they renovated it very tasteful. His vodka sauce is one of the best I have ever had. I will be going back . Give them a try you won't be disappointed. I was there when party of 18 came in. They were completely unreasonable. Ignore them I did get pizza and we had a chicken parm sandwich. It was great. Firstly, the olive oil tasted off and there was no salad given with the meals. The " no salad with meals" thing would have been fine for me if they didn't charge $19 for spinach ravioli. Today I went for the cheese ravioli priced at $16. The service was slow and with visibly 9 people working there, thats a huge turn away. Another issue is the two behind the counter playing grab-ass with her boyfriend which is unacceptable. Overall bad experience 2/10 read more

Just had a wonderful meal tonight before a movie - it was early in the evening, had an hour before the movie and plenty of time to sit outside, enjoy complimentary homemade bread and olive oil, a great seasonal salad and fresh pasta with time to spare. After the movie we were enjoying ice cream next door and Beniamino and his wife were closing. A customer was looking for a light dinner to bring to a late movie but Thomas Sweet's sandwich shop was closed and so was Beniamino's, but they invited her in to heat up a couple slices so she could enjoy her night. A sweet find near Princeton. It's so nice to see a warm and friendly family run place! The Brooklyn pizza we ordered was very good. The stars of the show however are the thin crust pizza and the pasta. The tiramisu looked really good too but no one had space. The place is also very child friendly. A previous review did mention a bit of a wait for the food but that's more to do with the fact that everything is prepared fresh. read more

Went tonight for the first time. Great experience! The owners and staff were all incredibly nice, and friendly and playful with our toddler. Nice ambiance -- clean and spacious. Fresh flowers on the tables a nice touch. Our son devoured his pizza slice (which, by the way, was quite big) and is already asking to go back. The bread that was brought out in the beginning was fragrant and soft. We ordered the lasagna, which was made to perfection, and the chicken parmigiana was delightful. Pasta tasted so fresh, cooked al dente. My husband, who is fairly critical of his cannolis, devoured all three. Portions were big, so we ended up packing half the lasagna. Will definitely be heading back, and soon! read more
