Vickie always does a great job on my nails. She is my go-to technician. A fill and pedi runs $90.... it may be high but worth it for me.

Ummmm Ummmm I appreciate them accommodating me and my mini as a walk in. Very nice space and I have been wanting to try them out for a while. I love this plaza...it has a little of everything. Anyway...i went for the pedi and she wanted a short set... They got us seated right away. The one thing I typically am handed outside of a color chart is a list of services when you walk into the establishment of this type, however, that did not happen. And they just started water, he asked me not to put my feet in the water, and started taking off the gel Polish. Okay, that makes sense took about, you know, 7-8 minutes and then he said, go ahead and put your feet in the water. Why was the water cold? Can you put some more water in there? So he turned on some water, tried it. Cold -barely warm. So we went through that a couple times and finally drained the water and put some hot water in. Okay, so no bubbles, no extras. Just water about 15 minutes in and out the water. My toes were cleaned up as far as like trimming, cutting and all of that. And they were ready to paint. I'm like they didn't do anything. Okay, he did apply a little salt scrub and lotion mixed together on my calf, but not necessarily a feet. It was a no-frills pedicure, at that point I was like, can I see a service list? So another lady walked by. She gave me a service list; it was like a little menu. I realized that I was just getting a basic pedicure, I didn't get to opt for all the fun fancy frilly stuff. No jelly and aromatherapy and waxing or rock massages, it just wasn't there. So the basis pedicure is $35, which is amazingly cheap with the gel $52, which is still a very good price. But for me, when I go to get a pedicure, I want it all, so I just didn't get a chance to get any of that extra stuff because I didn't know what they offered. My daughter said she immediately did not like her nails because of the design. She said that it did not look like what she wanted and the tech kept making her bleed. I think the set is cute...lol Then, I asked for a waxing cause at this point I'm okay with the pedicure as is, I wanted my lip and Chin waxed. So I went to the back and met Julie, she did my waxing. But the only problem with that's when it kind of went and left, she quickly did it. But I ended up having wax in my nose on my thigh under my on my neck, like under my cheek. It was just a mess. So when I'm leaving, I'm feeling all this wax and, that part of it told me that she is very careless with how she did things, the other thing I really didn't care for was that my toes looked dull. The color looks dull. First of all, I color that I originally chose and was totally attracted too was a pretty aqua sheer color but itvdid not look anything like was on the palette. They couldn't figure out why. So I'm like, okay, maybe people don't use these colors here un Benica and people probably use them muter tones. So I just left it alone, but even the other like more basic color I chose was just like a bright orange coral pinkish color at the end of the day and it's just dull, and it's not a matte polish, we probably won't go back there. read more

Got a gel mani & pedi $87.00. The man who did my pedi only polished the middle of my toenails & not the edges, so they looked like I had round circles for toenails instead of squares. He had to remove the gel & redo them, & 3 hours later, they were still missing polish on the edges. Nails weren't the best, but after 4 hours, I had to go. I came 2 weeks prior for a gel mani & the male technician did a horrible job on my nails & a female technician had to finish the job. He took calls while doing my nails, and constantly jumped up to assist with customer service issues. I do not recommend & will not be coming back. I don't have 4 hours to spend in a nail shop. read more

I was a spa owner for 23 years and these attributes were the standards in my business. I have always had my needs met every time I visit this nail salon. Vicky and Micheal take care of my nails and toes. Both are wonderful, exceptional people. I've seen some recent reviews that are not great but I can assure you that Vicky (the owner) is willing to hear your concerns and will always try to make sure you are happy. This place is just the same anymore. I went in on a Tuesday and on Friday my gel nails were peeling off. Even after I told them I did not want gel. They convinced me to get it. Waste of money! I got a basic pedicure, a full set gel manicure, and a facial wax. Spent $100 plus $15 in tip. And the young girl who did my pedicure had the worst attitude. I received the most low effort mani/pedi. There's NO reason why I should be able to get a manicure and pedicure in less than 30min for both. That shows you're rushing to get done with the customer. My gel nails- SOOOO clumpy , streaks, and peeling/chipping gel after less than one week. The clumping was so bad on each nail- the nail tech kept asking me "do you like them?" He KNEW how bad they looked, that's why he kept asking. I was embarrassed to be wearing these nails all week. The fact that he knew nothing about proper gel curing, capping the nail after painting , avoiding streaks, etc. showed me he had no clue what he was doing. My pedicure- terrible. She didn't even clean underneath the nail or get the dead skin around my toes. Scrubbed each foot for literally 5 seconds each. Parts of my toenail have no polish on them. Wtf. I went here a week ago and requested acrylic French tip nails. A male technician did my nails and wow was he unprofessional. He constantly checked his phone and was sending text messages. When it came time to do the French tips it was so sloppily done. I should have taken a picture. He prepped it for another lady to come and finish and make it look nice. She was rushing as well and the French was uneven. There are also several bubble on the my nails. The nails are cute if you aren't looking close up but otherwise the look horrible. My girlfriend and I decided to get mani/pedicures for the holidays. From the very beginning they were very rude. They preferred to talk on their phones and eat lunch over taking care of their customers. They cut my toenail so short it became infected. We never got any of the services they advertised. I've been here before and my nails looked bomb. I came here today before I leave for vacation and my toes look bomb but my gel manicure looks like my toddler did it. They're very nice there, but if I can do my nails better I should have to pay $100 yanno? This is literally an hour or two after I got them done. I asked for square round natural. He didn't shape them at all and it looks like I have a week of outgrowth. I don't have time to go back in to get them fixed but I'm pretty disappointed with my manicure, ugh. I wanted to get a manicure and pedicure. I was sat down in a chair. The lady gave the manicure and pedicure cut my toe nails to short. To the point of hurting me repeatedly. I told the lady she was hurting me and she just smiled. I had to ask for someone to translate for her. She just nodded her head. She hurt me again, I almost kicked her. Again I had to have my message to "Stop and move on to my fingernails. Again she started cutting my nails to short. I shook my head no. Just another smile. This was three weeks ago. I had to have the toe nail pulled out from the nail growing into my skin. Not to mention wearing 2 band aids on the toe to stop the pain and offer protection. If you have a elderly or diabetic this is not the place to go. read more

Terrible. Came in for 3 pedicures for me, my gf and her mom. We all got seated immediately and they had us take our shoes off. Both my gf and her mom got their toes worked on first. They finished theirs and I thought they would work on me next, but nope. I had to wait for the workers to work on another 2 walk in customers that arrived long after us. They didn't communicate what was happening until we asked and they quickly pointed at another worker. I still had to wait since she was already working on someone. Mind you, they started working on me AFTER they finished the other walk ins. We would have asked sooner, but we just kept on trying to reason with what they were doing. We were also all very confused about their pedicure packages since they didn't give us options; they just went straight to it. Charged us $32 each just to get the most basic pedicure that I could have done at home with warm water and some nail clippers. We also noticed that they helped everyone else put their slippers on to prevent nail smudge, but did not help my gf and her mom. When we got home my gf noticed that they didn't even help her clip any of her hangnails off and absolutely ruined her nail shape. We still left them a generous tip, but I will never come here again and advise you all to not either. I wish I read the yelp reviews and not just the Google reviews. read more

I really am happy with my pedicure. I had read the reviews right before going in and took a chance on a Monday morning. I got myself a gel pedicure with the works! I have been trying random places for the past 3 months and I have finally found my "it" place to go. The scrub and massage was great. Things I really look for in a good pedicure is if my cuticles are really removed with effort and the scrub done for more than a minute. This amazing man buffed and scrub my feet, massaged with oils and then lotions. My feel look and feel pampered and new! My pedicure ladies know what I'm talking about when I say "new!" I will definitely be back. Also this salon is very clean and well kept. No chemical smells. Bathroom was clean and had feminine hygiene products available. Simple, clean, and a great pedicure! I'm honestly ooookay my nails, but it's very inconvenient that only one person out of the whole salon knows how to do acrylic nails.. I called about an hour before to have an appointment hoping I could get started on once I got there but nope. Had to wait 20 minutes for the sake of only one person knowing how to do acrylic. And $30? Because +$5 for the length? My nails aren't even that long. And she also hurt me from that rolling tool! I figured I would come here since I live in Benicia and my usual nail stylist is in Fairfield, but I regret it. She rushed, my nails aren't even, and when applying the clear coat on top it had an after color of blue from another nail color and got onto my nails and she didn't even bother to fix it! They're getting two stars because the nail tech was nice and initiated being conversational. My nails are natural; I don't have acrylic or any form of longer-lasting polish. (Not because I don't like it, but because I have an allergic reaction.) I specifically asked for straight up manicure, nothing special, nothing added. I pointed out the service from their menu. The person that walked me to the station repeated the service I elected to the tech. At that point, I let him do what he needed to do, cuticle, file, etc. Pretty soon he got to the massage portion of the service. Great; right? Well, it would have been if he hadn't decided after fully knowing which service, to perform the "extra". Apparently, massage wasn't part of the one I chose. So, instead of say $12, it was $18 (those may not be the exact prices). When I went to the front desk to pay I corrected them and showed them the menu - but though it was his choice to do that extra service when he already knew the service I chose. It might have been ok, IF the manicure would have been phenomenal, but it was phenomenally bad. The cuticle was only ok, and the nails were crooked. I won't be going back to this nail salon for several reasons. 1: When I walked in, every person that worked there that wasn't actively helping someone was sitting in one of the massage chairs playing on their phones and eating. 2: I showed her a picture of what I wanted done and even explained what I wanted done and I ended up with something almost embarrassing. 3: $50. First time getting anything done there and it's $50. 4: The entire salon was dirty. When I say entire I mean everything was dirty, even their little boxes that have a label that says "clean" is dirty. 5: None of the people that work there are friendly. They aren't rude but you feel like you are unwelcome. I plan on going to another nail salon in a week to get my nails fixed. read more
