    Chicken Hibachi

I came here to celebrate a friends birthday and use birthday coupon that you get as apart of the Benihana Reward's. The chef was interactive and and we had a great experience while our food was being prepared. Ultimately, I feel like the hibachi portions have gotten smaller, but the food was still fresh and flavorful!

I'm sad to write this updated review because I LOVE the food at Benihana. Honestly, they have gotten so expensive I don't think it's worth coming here anymore. I ordered a chicken lunch to go, and it was $28! A similar hibachi lunch at literally any other place is usually $10-13, so doesn't seem worth it anymore, and as I mentioned I got it to go, so didn't tie up time with a chef and didn't get the benefit of the "show". They also still have a 20% up charge if you dine at a table with a chef but have removed that fee if you eat at the bar and bypass the show.

We celebrated my son's tenth birthday here, and while he had fun, the rest of us were mostly laughing on the way home at how poorly the night went. Once kids move past the age for this cruise ship style show, there is not much reason to return. It started with a rushed, impersonal check-in that felt more like a cattle call than a welcome. Dinner had multiple issues: missing ingredients, staff yelling across the kitchen for lighters and mushrooms, and to-go boxes handed out before we had even started eating. Our waiter and chef were kind and trying, but the whole place felt chaotic and mechanical. For a bill close to five hundred dollars, it did not feel like a special occasion. It felt like we were being processed. The twenty percent service charge, which in our case was over sixty dollars, was explained as not going to the staff. We were still expected to tip on top of that. It came off as management cost shifting. The birthday boy had fun, which matters, but I would not recommend this place if you are looking for a quality experience.

Went here for my sister's bday tonight. The service was great, Leo was our hibachi chef and he had great flare and was so nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This location was amazing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you're looking for a fun evening and amazing food I recommend!! If you're looking at going, I highly recommend making a reservation.

Stopped by here for a birthday dinner on a Thursday night. It was hopping. Very busy and active on this night. We had a reservation and everyone for that reservation was there on time and we were seated right away. This location is like most other locations. Cozy. With about eight seats around the table that has the big teppanyaki grill in the center. Placed our drink orders and got our waters. The service was a little slower just because of how busy they were. Placed our order for the entrees. Most of the entrees come with the soup and salad. Clear soup with onions and mushrooms. Tasty and a good palette cleanser to the before the meal. The salad come with a ginger sauce that is refreshing and on this day, it was very fresh and the lettuce very crisp. One of the best I have had at this location. We started with the appetizers, the zucchini, onions and shrimps are cooked fresh with garlic butter and soy sauce. Tasty. Especially with the sauces that are provided. Benihana has the best yum yum sauce in town. Ordered my standard entree, the deluxe treat, which is filet mignon and lobster. Always pay for the extra chicken fried rice. The food was cooked well and tasty, although I found it a little saltier than usual. Overall, this is a fun place to go with the family and even though can be a little expensive (prices have gone up as with everything else), its nice to have nice dinner and a show.

The lobby was sizable and inviting with a claw machine we couldnt resist trying while we waiting for a table to free up (It's 2 token per play, $1 a token - the claw is loose on the sensitivity so use some strategy). Once seated, perusing the lunch menu (after ordering the special electric lemonaid) the base selection was typical of other spots but the specialty hot stone Waygu and oysters for 4 (8x oysters, and 2x orders of 4 pieces of Waygu) was a big hit, alongside of the crispy wings, the tasty gyoza, the very garlic house salad, and the delightful crab puff pls Edamame to start. From the Lo Mein for the misses, to the BBQ Eel Fried Rice for my and my oldest, to the specialty YumYum Roll and Spicy Girl Roll, to my youngest's favorite Rainbow Roll and Eel Avocado Roll there was plenty to come back - along some of the other Regular Rolls. And I couldnt leave without my favorite red bean and green tea ice creams! Certainly a favorite at $20 for lunch from the family - can't wait to return!

As someone who doesn't eat fish I love a veggie roll, and adding cream cheese is a great option. When ordering the avocado roll it's $1 to add cream cheese, so I would order a Philly no salmon. This was totally fine until one day I'm told I need to start paying $1 to remove the salmon, seems like a crazy thing considering I'm saving them money to NOT include the fish, arguably the most expensive item in the roll. I wouldn't care as much if there was any consistency with when I'm charged and when I'm not. Overall, communication and service could be better. Typically it's pretty slow during lunch M-Th, but when I went on a Friday it was busier, still a great option for lunch if you have an hour.

I recently came here to celebrate my 24th birthday, and since it had been a hot minute since my last visit, I was excited to come back. Somehow, it was even better than I remembered! This was my fourth visit, and every time I've been here, the experience has been consistently amazing. The standout for me is definitely the sashimi. The cuts are incredibly thick, the fish is unbelievably fresh, and it practically melts in your mouth. You can really tell they don't skimp on quality, which isn't always the case with all-you-can-eat sushi. The ambiance is another reason I love coming here. The lighting is warm and inviting, making it a great place for anything from a casual dinner to celebrating a special occasion. They also have a decent amount of seating, but because it's such a popular spot, you may have to wait a bit during peak dining hours. In my opinion, it's absolutely worth the wait. The service is also excellent. The staff is attentive, friendly, and quick to bring out each round of food, making the whole dining experience smooth and enjoyable. Between the incredible food quality, generous portions, welcoming atmosphere, and outstanding service, it's one of the few places where I genuinely feel the price is completely justified. If you're debating whether it's worth the cost, I'd say absolutely yes. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just craving high-quality sushi, Ichiban Sushi never disappoints. One waiter was responsible for nearly all the tables in the hibachi area, each seating eight people, making even the simplest requests - like a drink refill - nearly impossible. It was clear their main goal was to turn tables over as quickly as possible, rather than provide attentive service. We were celebrating my niece's 3rd birthday, and to their credit, they did a nice job acknowledging it. However, the restaurant felt very money-driven. If you're considering using a Groupon, *read the fine print carefully* - they refused to honor ours because it wasn't purchased 24 hours in advance, which felt unnecessarily petty. On top of that, a mandatory 17%+ service charge was added to the bill, despite the service not coming close to justifying it. A final concern: food safety. I noticed the chef using the same spatula to handle both raw steak/seafood and cooked noodles without cleaning it in between, which is a big red flag. Overall, it wasn't worth the hassle. There are better hibachi options out there. Oh, the owner/manager's strategy to have us return to use the Groupon didn't work, we requested our money back. Sorry not sorry.

Let's start with the obvious: it's a buffet. We're getting our own plates, our own refills, doing the whole "DIY dining" thing. Fine. But for that price, you'd expect at least decent food. Instead, it was bland, forgettable, and sitting somewhere between lukewarm and questionable. Now the part that really sealed it: as we were literally getting up to leave, an employee approached us and demanded a tip. Not suggested. Not politely mentioned. Demanded. Then another staff member came over, pointed at the receipt, and told me I needed to tip. I'm actually a generous tipper, happily so, when it's earned. But being confronted like that? That's not service, that's pressure with a side of audacity. I even tried to clarify, thinking maybe gratuity wasn't included and I misunderstood. I was told, "No, service is completely separate." Okay... then maybe make that crystal clear somewhere? A sign, a note, literally anything. I would have gladly run to my car to grab cash and come back if it had been handled respectfully. But after being cornered and told I had to tip? Absolutely not. If your business model relies on tipping, act like it. Don't ambush customers on their way out like they're skipping out on a bill. Between the overpriced, underwhelming food and the aggressive tipping situation, this was easily one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a while.
